  1. those compression readings are all over the place are ok, but not great . even disregarding 2nd cylinder, 140-160 is a little too far apart.
  2. I did the spray on my indicators (yellow) just to see what kinda look it gave, and it was sweet. Just tape around it and spray away. Ended up swapping to the nismo smoked indicators... same thing.
  3. is this an inside joke? i dont get it...
  4. you can normally buy a clutch kit from ogura or whoever - and they will normally supply a lighter flywheel that goes with the clutch.
  5. you normally lightly machine the flywheel when installing a new clutch anyway. the full monty is pretty hardcore - jim advised me against it for my application

    R33 Drift Wing

mine has bolts which plonk in to the factory clips.
  7. none as of yet *touch wood* as long as it's a good balance between allowing the yellow through and looking dark it's not really noticeable unless someone points it out to you. one of those subtle things that you cant quite put your finger on. it's easily removed with a solvent - that said, reversing is a bitch with the windows and lights tinted
  8. deaaaaaaaaad sexy.... the tint film doesnt shrivel up... but the sun tends to bake it in to the plastic - impossible to get off.
  9. wrong section... heaps of black coupes around.
  10. gtr brace and pod adapter sold!
  11. not an issue? sweet... one less thing to worry about. some more pics up. it's coming together
  12. no
  13. Thought I'd undertake a little project to mount the SAFC above my headunit. The aim is to make it look as standard as possible. I'll update the first post as I go along, this is my progress so far. 1. Take measurements and mock up using cardboard 2. Ensure clearance with interior trim 3. Make sure SAFC actually fits 4. Transfer measurements onto plastic 5. Cut the plastic & trial fit using blu tac 6. Super glue the plastic bits together and again, trial fit. 7. Make a little stand for the SAFC using plastic - determine your angles and driver position. Make sure that there's enough space behind the stand to tuck the cable away. 8. Trial fit again - make sure the climate control doesnt hinder view. 9. Make a backing plate for the whole thing (kinda optional, but prevents stuff from falling back in). Ensure the hole is large enough for the harness plug to go in and out. 10. *I have yet to decide on how to do the finish. Maybe a black plastic face plate? Spray paint it black? *Pictures are out of order, I'll fix them up when I finish *Keep mocking it up in the car - do it the first time and do it right
  14. specs look sweet and it does look pretty cool, but not zonda/enzo supercar looking. does look like an audi mating with a porsche
  15. neither... some thumbnails come up blank (black)
  16. http://www.roadsidewatch.com/use/server.php?page_id=4208 a removal kit... i was just going to say this setup would be sweet to record some in-car footage at a track day... but $1500!!! fark that. EDIT: actually they're pretty crap cameras
  17. actually my brother just bought an RS (2.5L). no doubt its not the fastest car in a straight line, but for a stock car it absolutely hammers through the mountains. it's almost effortless cruising and on tight roads/tracks i'd say it's pretty much on par with a stock wrx and both the subies are miles ahead of a gtst. comparing apples and oranges - as a car, i reckon they're great. recaro bucket seats, momo steering wheel, dual airbags, creature comforts, sedan, asthetically, handling ability, not to mention it's young age and low km - it's quite a tidy STOCK package. definitely an all rounder kind of car - and in this day and age, it's definitely something to consider at those kinda prices.
  18. discounts!!! i'll be giving the 595's a go next
