  1. LOL... I would rather a butt plug!
  2. loves teh chaos man beef that is all... kthnx
  3. was that you??? on a skidpan or something just doing mass skids? and smoking up the whole place? i think i saw that video, thought you put a piston through the block or something.
  4. bang for buck wise that may be true, but a few of the people here myself included are simply trying to build a well balanced driveable car that handles well, and has slightly more power than standard whilst maintaining reliability and keeping maintenance costs down. you are never going to make big power or fast 1/4 mile times with an NA (in reference to a GTST), nor are you going to make big power with a GTST (in reference to lets say a GTR), nor a GTR (lets exaggerate and say a Zonda). and while your points may be valid and true, NA cars are the base people choose have and want to work with. what i'm saying is that i'm sure most people here know about the futility of making big HP with NA cars and dont need someone telling them otherwise... and that is as a polite f**k off as you'll ever get. also keep in mind that some of the faster cars around a track are NA, so while the fat chick cant do ballet, i'm sure she can try and do just as well. p.s - i do not condone fat chicks.
  5. anyone know if RB25DET and RB25DE exh. cam gears are the same? will be interested if there's a 3rd run of these.
  6. skit_r31 sounds like a v.good build.. will be impressive to see how that goes. some possible improvements may be an RB26 head with hex throttle bodies, and instead of forged pistons look into those hypereutic ones... in terms of power i agree that realistically something around the 130-170rwkw is achieveable without nitrous, anything after that and you'll start looking at a higher rev limit and big dollars
  7. neither.. not unless it was a jap import - there wont be any australian released ones either. there are (although quite rare) SR20DE S14s around... power/speed/weight wise.. similar to an SR20 180 or s13 would be a safe guess
  8. think and know are two different things... lots of ppl have seen his car with 2 huge bottles on teh street
  9. i'd have to disagree with this one... some are!!! most i'd say have to be cars that are kept under a duvet, and only driven once or twice a year... cos i certainly havent seen them on the street.
  10. any idea if the flywheels differ from an R33 GTS25 to an R33 GTS25T?? the JUN one from perfect run says they are the same: http://perfectrun.com.au/performance%20par...oriflywheel.htm but the cusco one has no mention with regards to NA... are you able to chase that up? and how much for shipment up to brisbane for the super light, including the upgraded pivots and needle roller spigot bearing. cheers eug
  11. here's a thought... what about a stock GTST exhaust... they are a 2.5" exhaust standard, and should have the exact same measurements as an NA one... only thing you might need to get made up may be a replacement as to the headers instead of front pipe.. i'm currently looking into this option. its also cheap =)
  12. that would be sooo cool.. please please please do it... but if you do please do a twin cam conversion while your at it. i think hks do an ITB and trumpet set up its purple and shiny ecu wise, i think you might want to look into a power fc d-jetro
  13. or he would be best searching... especially stickied as the first post is a thread on "HOW TO TURBO YOUR NA SKYLINE"
  14. dude at repco tried to charge me $140, and $150 for the NTK and Bosch ones... wtf... then tried to sell me a universal ACA one... just ordered one from kudos motorsports... see how things go car is no longer running rich, bit more free reving, certainly feels a little faster...
  15. lol what are the odds... i'm heading in just now lol
  16. if only we were all so lucky.... reasons to do the conversion it: - you might already have a bodykit on your skyline - stereo install - small dress up bits, custom bits, - rims - suspension work reasons not to do it: - brakes will need upgrading - a standard RB25DET is made to take the power - a DET motor you can be looking at 200rwkw or more on standards - much less customization - gearbox its all common sense really... if you do a search you can find your answers talk's cheap. for someone who cant even drive yet you are certainly thinking very far ahead... i suggest you get your license and then go from there.
  17. its not something you can adjust like timing, you'll have to throw in a thicker head gasket or swap pistons. and even then you will still only be able to run mild boost without doing more work. that said how old are you? QLD govt. is implementing the P plater restrictions soon (as you probably already know) and by the time you get onto your P's you may not want a skyline anymore. at the current price of skylines its much easier (and costs roughly around the same) to sell and buy a GTST
  18. i just called repco australia. god they are the slackest people in the world. gave the dude a call and asked him for a skyline o2 sensor, and straight up he says: "you'll have to do some reseach otherwise i can't get the part number for you" wtf?! anyway BOSCH: 2269013007 = $ 126 NGK: 0zA395 E2 = $155 why are the skyline ones so pricey, a mate bought one for his S13 SR20 for $50 @ repco the other week! that said there's a trader for SAu selling the NGK ones for $110 plus $10.50 postage. i've seen posts where people have gotten direct fit sensors for like $75.
  19. i get some funky error when i tried to change my email in my profile says its already in use, but obviously shouldnt be... cheers eug
  20. first of all. what is your budget and application. then work from there. your options are: - drop in a motor from a turbo model - turbo your current motor as to the differences between a gtr and gtst: the answer is heaps.... 2.6L twin turbo with attessa vs. 2.5L turbo rwd different brakes, interior, body shape list goes on... do a little research, and search through the forums and internet... try the search button up top on this forum.
  21. this was what he was driving poor guy.. hope he pulls through!
  22. amazing run... http://www.sportcompact.net.au/Press_Rel5.php there's the video clip
  23. Hicas and LSD seem to be available on most if not all skylines regardless of turbo or not. (actually the skylines seem like a fairly customisable car when in production, with alot of these being factory options) just apart from brakes and rims, (and the obvious engine and gearing) i cant see any marked differences. not playing the GT-V down, just want to know what makes a GT-V a GT-V.
  24. would be no different to doing a turbo conversion to any other R34 just that all the supporting systems are there - most importantly brakes, ready to take the increased power. correct me if i'm wrong but isnt the suspension setup from the R34 GT25 the same as R34 GTT, same interior (minus boost gauge). so all that you have extra is really the colour of the car and the brakes?
