    Need 4 Speed

dick johnson's got the idea - good to see him get into the whole lakeside and hooning. but wtf?!
  2. just how old are you??? and for the record i drive an R33 GTS25 p.s: if you want to get nit picky with details car vs. car threads arent allowed... waaahhhh mommy....
  3. is the blonde one hotter than the brunette one? what qualifies as a race? a lap around your local track? i take it you mean a 1/4 mile drag hmm... if it was an SR20DE or a CA18DE then you would have a chance if it was a stock CA18DET (maybe??) dont even bother with an SR20DET without doing major engine mods you could strip out the interior of your car, extractors, exhaust, cams, safc, some fat semi slicks, fiddle with your intake and maybe clutch, diff and become a better driver. ohh and nitrous. quite a pointless question really - if you would just sit down and think about it realistically you'd have your answer. to be blunt - grow up and think about what you've asked. someone will always be faster than you and it seems like you just want to claim bragging rights with this car you are going to buy soon.
  4. yup thanks... rather than believing the captions some people associate with pictures - wanted it straight from the horses mouth.. cheers
  5. i've been looking at a few engine bay shots of some R34s... looks like its only got 1 throttle body and splits into the plenum. from what i gather it seems to be an R34 25GT Sedan trait. and below is an R34 GTT am i correct? didnt find much info searching on throttle bodies and plenums. cheers
  6. SMR33 at indro
  7. i'd say that the dyno is reading a bit low'ish - but mine could be high cleaning the afm sounds like a good idea, ur afr's are a bit funny (safc shud be sweet too) wierd dip over @ 130-140km/hr ??? getting a torque curve wud have been good (coz who cares abt max power ), as well as running the power curve against RPM instead of speed. to give you an idea mine made 108.4rwkw (dynodynamics) and only with a podfilter and CAI with a stock exhaust. eug
  8. ahhh that sucks... so sorry to hear BADR33. its great to see someone go out there and do something totally different... maadness - cant wait for the dyno graph and some 1/4 mile times

  10. just a question... are the reo bars, bonnets, front bars, headlights and grills all interchangable between all three series? like with the R33 bonnet, headlights, guards, front bar and reo were different between S1 and S2. cheers
  11. haha i rode in this the other day... what's that filter thing sitting on the parcel shelf?
  12. so if i get caught using my phone in the car... its ok right because i am taking a photo of a possible hoon.
  13. dude... i dont mind you trying to portray the whole copy/pirate scene, and i fully understand what you're trying to get at - but being chinese i take slight offence at your stereotype. been to china 4 times and there are a few respectable garages in china that stock all the well known brands such as hks, blitz, greddy, etc (and guess what they are all similarly priced as stuff you would buy here). people buy copies knowing that they are copies - and yet they complain when they break. dont buy em. that said - those prices do look a little high (even for australian prices) cheers eug
  14. lol thats true johnny. but how many of us live with a mechanic, work in an engineering company, have most of the tools on hand to build a SC-V8 (which runs small rear brakes ) and know how?

    Happy Bday!

    happy birthday dudes
  16. hey mate - seriously no one can answer all your questions exactly, best way is to do some homework and make some phone calls. rb25de extractors should fit an rb20de as some people above have stated, there are possible pros and cons in heatwrapping extractors - that is entirely up to you. partsco sell extractors - but if you want a price you are better off calling them or emailing and asking for a quote. (coby, hurricane, fujitsibo, there's quite a few brands out there) you can also make custom extractors (muffler shop should be able to do it) - probably using your original flanges, and again the amount of power it adds can be anything, because they are custom. i think you're looking at this whole "extractors how much power do they give?" a little one dimensionally. from what i have read and what other people have told me, extractors give allow better breathing and flow of exhaust gases. you may/may not see much change in any max power (or dyno power read out). instead you might find a more drivable and chunkier/fatter mid range. there is no rule of thumb as to how much more max power you will get, but i would hazard a guess at ~5-10kw eug
  17. my condolences Jason congrats to the both of you =) hope you both (soon to be 3) will be very happy eug
  18. how many km has the teins done? have they been reconditioned/rebuilt? do they come with C spanners? etc In Brisbane too
  19. any of the Tekkens Xenogears Final Fantasy VII, VIII and IX Chocobo Racing Einhinder (sp?) Parasite Eve I and II squaresoft rules! (square enix is pretty good too =)
  20. i'd have to agree with danny here... when mine came in about 2 years ago it was around 16k all up (back then gtst's were going for 23-25) first owner, really clean, 60 thou km, STOCK everything. never a problem, obviously u get ur odd stone chips and everything. however there is the downside of the wait, and other possible mishaps - but that said you'll find that most are in a far better condition than those here in aust. unless you find a real fussy driver. cheers eug
  21. wouldnt it just be easier to get the mechanisms from a driver side door (ie. off someone who's bought a front cut.
