I added some people with flickr links as contacts. Pretty high standard of photography here, bit of inspiration to stop being so lazy.

Cheers, I've swung an email off to them - now I wait. Any others that anyone can think of in the meantime?

Hey guys, I couldn't really find an appropriate place for this post, but I'm having a massively hard time finding an r33 manual box for under 1500. I've heard of people getting them for around 1000, and obviously if I can save 500 bucks I'm keen on that. Are they still going for that cheap or is it just a matter of being in the right place right time. I've tried a heap of wreckers, but if you know of anyone or any places that are selling them for sub 1500 please let me know, need it urgently as my box decided to self destruct on Sunday. Thanks.

I'm after those answers aswell please.

I played it for 5 minutes at Harvey Norman, racing FTO's.. That was enough for me to realise it was trash.

Asking my mate now, will PM you as soon as he gets back to me.

Well I've called shotgun haha

Asking for a mate. He's got a 1993 R32.. 2 door, and the front drivers side seal is all perished and cracked in the top corner. He enquired about how much for a new item and it was a huge figure. So if anyone has any thoughts/ or one laying around. PM me and I'll let him know. P.S. If its not too clear what I'm asking I'll get a pic. Thanks

I've wanted to see what some Japanese workshops could do with a VL Turbo for ages. If us simpleton Australian guys can be getting 8's and 9's. I wonder what those lads would get out of it? Some pretty crazy stuff I'd imagine. Whats this? A Single Cam 3 litre? Pathetic!! haha

Isn't that what we all thought when Need for Speed 38 came out??

Geez, most commodores are too slow to cause major accidents, come on! haha Nah in all honesty, Most drivers I see on the roads that have no idea are old/ middle aged and female, boganish middle age men in Commodores.. 20-25 year olds in Commodores. And 17-20 in Imports. But the most dangerous out of all those, being the Import drivers, as they're usually boosting around blind corners etc. Whereas the Commodore drivers are usually tailgating and the middle aged women just have no idea.

Sounds good, but it'll definately be a rental first for me. NFS has let me down so many times before. I like the outwit type thing, I'd like to fang it around back streets to escape cops.

How old are you and how can you afford this!?

Doesn't gas have a higher octane rating? Not too many comments from me lately.. If anything it'd be your piece of shit is droning like a mofo.. And I'd sigh and say yes.. I need a new exhaust. But, as soon as I get the turbs bolted on I'll be looking for laughs.

They go darker, I wouldn't say they stain black though. We use them around here on our retaining wall sleepers, garden bed logs etc, termites hate the oil and I guess it makes them last a bit longer aswell.

Yeah I don't know what it is, campaign doesn't interest me that much at all. It's mainly multiplayer, fast paced, lots of action, lots of chances and best of all, your usually ranked up against people that are on your level. So it should be an even contest, unlike when I used to jump on Unreal Tournament on the PC, I'd be playing against punks that had been there for years perfecting their moves. Have to enjoy the whole headset element aswell, being able to talk to your mates while beginning a game, sitting there defending a base seeing whats going on, knowing what to do etc. Anyway, I've developed a new strategy- It's the shotgun and rocket or sniper strategy. You camp somewhere outside there base (sniper) and pick off anyone you can thats hanging around outside or on top of the base, anyone on major weapons, rockets, snipers, power swords, or turrets of warthogs. Run in, switch to Shotgun, pump in a heap of grenades, under the cover of smoke run in and pump them in the head with the shotty...With any luck you get a few kills and your out the door with the flag, or setup for anyone coming in with a bomb. Or the other approach is sniper anyone on top, try and get in through a top access or anywhere that you can see lots of people hiding, rocket, rocket, rocket - go in, shotty, clean up whatevers left over. I'm still only level 7, fairly dirty about it considering I was nearly level 9 and then I've suddenly dropped... But oh well

Note I didn't mention how hard they go, but yeah I know what you mean. In all reality, they don't go as loud doof doof as what some Alpines my mate has, but they do produce a good enough quality for me anyway. When it comes to a sub anyway.. All it has to do for me is keep the low notes going..

Well I haven't really had many other camera phones to compare it too, as this is my first. At the end of the day its taking 640x480 shots, which just isn't good enough with camera's these days. You can get Photo Acute as I mentioned earlier, for those snaps where you actually have time to take the photo.. Any other questions though? I'll gladly answer whatever you haven't been able to find on the net. i.e. Have you had a look at it in a shop and seen the size? Anyway, email me at bextor84-at-hotmail.com so we don't hijack anymore, and I'll email you some shots.
-
Yeah, I wanna grab Photo Acute which you can run on the Nokia's with Symbian o/s's. Takes a heap of the same photo' overlaps and ends up making it 1mp.
-
On the other hand- I've got 2 in the back of my car and they've been there for two years, still go as strong as they ever did and overall I'm happy with their performance.
-
Here ya go then, low res, camera is a Nokia 6260.. And its not from the phone, but it gives you an example of what it really looked like.
-
I don't take too many shots of cars from my phone.. Got a few but they're dodgy

Road Angels accuracy depends on a database that gets updated how often? Thats how it works doesn't it? You download from a database of where all fixed camera's are and it chimes whenever your coming up to one.
-
Ahh ok, so its a matter of pressing the timer and taking off.. And what sort of camera are you using?
