ya get what ya pay for in this world. A friend has one on her SR, its got top end ( not too much0, but pretty laggy. I would say the standard SR turbo would be overall better than the KKR. My 2 cents lol

ahhh nice one a good point of the oil change though if it aint been done in a while id change it possibly will quiet'en it down i use and recoment motul 15/50 300v crono fully synthetic pure ester its the bomb all skylines and GTR's i know run it and they love it mikle

hey i listened to your sound file. GTR's make loud lifter noises as they have a bucket and shim arrangement so they are noisy at idle also ive noticed they have a prenouned injector pulse noise too this sound could be either of those two the noise does sound very loud compared to mine and all my mates GTR's so you could have a problem there either some head issues or something top end yes it is a std GTr noise but should be checked out by a compression test to see if valves are leaking or something id be glad to meet up and hepl you but i do live north east of city mate hope it helps mike

im pretty sure the exhaust housing will fit regardless if its non ball bearing or ball bearing not completely sure.Ive only spurced the ball bearing so that if you decide to just use that turbo then you have already bought the correct turbo. just bolting on the exhaust housing will no be much of an upgrade, slight more lag for little power gain. Depends on your other mods you have done to your car remember the wheel is still ceramic and any more than 1 bar run for long periods will go bang mike

Hey ppl's im aftre a TSC for a R33 GTR id prefer the old school HKS type or a field one but not too fussed just one that will allow the front torque to be increased and decreased Cheers mike

hey adrian, I have personally done 4 of these turbos with all awsome results there are many ways to do the mod just bolt on the housing gives u more top end but a bit more lag (but can be regained by porting and matching the manifold). you can high flow the compressor at the same time keeping the ceramic wheel just increasing the compressor wheel and matching the housing. Have seen 230 to 250 kw out of this type. or put a steel wheel in a vg30 turbo this is the way to go 270kw plus and will last foreva but is roughly 1500 bux u keep same lag and awsome mid range and top end. We did quite alot of development on this mod and reducing or eliminating surge which u might get in doing this but it was minimal If u want to know more about what ive done and ive got contacts on the machining a mate does it for ATS and i also know Bill from ATS so i get good prices on it all please call me or pm me im happy to help ya P.S. the housing it self is very hard to find usually u will get a complete stuffed vg30 turbo for around $100 if u can find one and u need a ball bearing one the non ball bearing one does not fit, you can tell by looking at the back of the front compressor housing. mike 0416 085 323

hey just like to update me kw output lol well ive had my car tuned with the powere fc logit the other night and am running 1.3 bar std turbos starting to make boost at 1900 rpm and full boost by about 3300 rpm and comes on pretty hard for std the power fc logit is the way to go for sure i have no knock and and pulls hard all the way to 8000 prolly around 280 to 290 + easy see how long b4 i need new turbo's mike
