  1. Hey guys, I've tried searching but couldnt really find much. Currently making 347 rwkw hks2540's i think - full boost of 22psi at around 5500 ish powerfc tomei adj gears bosch 044 ported manifolds hks dumps hi-flow cat z32 afms sard 800's Running standard internals NOW to my question... How can i increase turbo response? Cams? What cams would be suitable Im hoping something along the lines of drop in i.e. keeping everything else stock. I want a reliable driver also - and im 100% sure this car wont see a track day or drag strip plus i have shift light set at 7000rpms. Lag is starting to annoy me and i really don't know what to do.. i cant afford to take out the turbos and buy and sell -9's or -5's.. What can i do to make the lag a little bit better/bearable? Please don't flame, I'm asking a genuine question. Thanks all

Hi guys, thought id put together a bit of a build diary to keep track of the build. its something i didn't do with my other cars and i regret it now as i have no pics or a log of how they come together. On that note, just a bit of my car history. my first build was a 1989 nissan S13 silvia. the car started out life as a completely standard down to the factory wheels and airbox ca18det auto. by the time i come to sell it, it was rb25det powered, garrett gt3076r, externally gated, sub zero plenum, and all the other usual bolt ons making 277rwkw. next was a 2006 bionic blue xr6 turbo ute. again it went from a stock vehicle to 382rwkw wearing a host of process west gear, external gate and so on. during my time owning the ute i also had the dis-pleasure of owning a 1993 r32 gtr. unfortunately when i purchased the car it was to far gone to be recovered and i sold it at a loss. somewhere amongst those cars i also owned another sr20det silvia and a d40 navara work car. this brings me to now, and as of late 2012 i become the owner of a 2000 R34 GTR V-Spec. this is me picking up the car, such a happy day when i got back home i threw it on a local dyno to check it all out couple of shots from a bit of a photo shoot and now the fun starts Adam
  3. I bought a BNR34 on a impulse buy, I have now accepted the fate I can't garage all my cars securely so I'm going to sell this 34 and the parts for it. I bought a heap of parts the same week as buying the 34 with the hopes of making a comfy 500whp. Parts are as follows Brand new BNR34 Apexi Power FC, new in box with all manuals and hand controller. $1000 delivered Brand new 2x Z32 Afm with Tomei plugs $330 each inc del Brand new x6 Bosch E85 compatible EV14 1000cc top feed injectors with adaptors and plugs to suit RB26, these are bench flowed and tested to ensure all values are the same. $670 inc del Brand new Turbosmart 1200 fuel pressure reg with gauge, black $320 inc del Brand new Walbro 460lph internal E85 compatible fuel pump $230 inc del Second hand, but has around 1500-2000kms of use Garrett GT2560R-5's, these are apparently the turbos to go for if you're chasing a responsive street car. These have no damage, come with actuators to suit and are a bolt in item for rb26. I'm chasing $1400 delivered. Im away for work for the next 2weeks, but the parts are located in Molendinar, Gold Coast 4214. Most of the items are still in the boxes and can be sent relatively easy through my housemate, or can be picked up if you are close. I don't have many photos but if you do require some, then ask and I will try source you some. Sheldon 0450313126

  5. High boost (~28psi) with -5s/2530s. what actuator needed for stable boost? Hi Guys, Got a question for those of you that have pushed big boost through low mounts (-5s/2530s etc) I was using some dual port actuators from turbonetics with a 4 port solenoid in the hope they would provide a large control range for boost control, but they leak on the underside of the diaphram through the shaft hole so cannot hold the wastegate closed at significant boost and they also have a weak spring so are not suitable to just use as a single port. on closer inspection they're not going to work so I'm ditching them for some normal single port actuator cans. the question is, what spring pressure will I need to use to hold 28psi on E85? is the 15.6psi spring of the garrett -5 actuators enough to not have them blow open at high exhaust manifold pressures or do I need to go to a garrett 19psi spring actuator to hold them? it is a flex fuel car so on 98 I would like to be running around 20-22psi and up to 28-ish psi on E85 if possible. the other option would be going to dual port turbosmart IWG-75s but they're quite a bit more expensive so would rather not and I'm not sure if they'll fit as they're pretty big. thanks!
  6. Chasing a pair of damaged / failed Garrett 2860-5 turbos. If their not failed they need to be 'failed' pricing.
