  2. G'day all, Was going to tackle my stereo system today consisting of Door speakers, Rear Amped 6x9's, Sub, Headunit & Amp. After learning earlier today that I'm going to HAVE to re-wire my door-speakers, this has set me back a little as I need to get 14g speaker cable. I feel completely stupid asking this, and I'm certain I've just over-thought on it and have ended up questioning what I think is correct: I can remove the adapter that's clicked into the stock unit pictured here: (As it holds no use as when I removed the stereo, it's been replaced with one from a wreckers due to writing on the parts in marker etc etc.) I've done stereo installs on ALL my cars but have never come across this, as every stereo I've removed/replaced has always been factory standard. So I plan to re-wire it to the new loom on the Pioneer DEH Headunit going in, as this is how I best know about doing installs. It's safe to cut as close to the stock adapter/harness pictured here, and go about wiring these wires to the new harness that came with my Pioneer headunit?: FINALLY Can anyone tell me which colour is ACCESSORIES/BATTERY/ILLUMINATION on a 1989 R31 GXE Skyline, or supply a Stereo Wiring Diagram for one? As I've searched almost ALL day even thoroughly, through sticky threads with little to no luck. Thanks in advance.
  3. Here i have for sale my pride and joy which i have owned for the last 5 years, This R32 would be perfect for anyone after that quick street able GTR they have always wanted. The car is currently making 310kw ATW on 98 pump fuel at 20 psi on a conservative tune for reliability ,with a E85 Tune the car made 375kw on 20 psi. With more boost and E85 this car will push over 400kw easy . Selling it due to having a work vehicle now and not much opportunity to drive the GTR anymore. Below is a list of the major modifications on the car R34 GTR N1 Engine Rebuilt 2000kms ago(Cleaned,Bored&honed and decked block/head) CP Pitsons 8.5:1 with upgraded wrist pins BC H-Beam Conrods Regrund Crankshaft with ACL race Bearings Tomei oil pump Tomei headgasket High octane 9L sump New gaskets through out New timing belt kit with water pump Koyo 53mm Radiator 4 inch think front mount intercooler Oil drain from cyl head to sump Reconditioned head With BC SGL valve springs Tomei Type B drop in cams 1000cc injectors WALBRO 450LPH E85 IN-TANK FUEL PUMP High Mount Precision 6262 Ball bearing turbo with full 3 inch exhaust (stainless catback) Haltech platinum pro computer with Zeitronix wideband sensor kit Rebuilt front diff and LSD rear diff Bc coilovers front and back All suspension bushes change front and back about 1.5years ago Rear adjustable camber arms Hicas has been removed with a lock bar in place Front and rear Cusco strut braces New Reco front driveshafts Nismo twin plate coppermix clutch DBA slotted rotors all round with reco calipers and braided brake lines Very Rare Mines Centre gauges and Mines speedo Blitz turbo timer , Greddy electronic boost controller and blitz temp gauge Pionner flip out screen with Alpine amp , Alpine type R subwoofer and upgraded speakers Air con works perfect Carbon Fibre bonnet Spoiler delete (Holes have been welded up) Volk GT-C rims 18 inch with toyo tyres with about 40% wear(near new) As you can see i have only used the best available parts, This car is very quick on the street and the all round performance of the R32 GTR is unbelievable for a car produced in the late 80's, If you have an enquires do not hesitate to send me a message or give me call photos and contact details can be seen here :http://www.carsales.com.au/private/de ... -AD-2733379/?Cr=0&sdmvc=1

  5. G'day everyone, bit of a n00b question, but I've searched for a while to find and answer over to pages/forum, with no luck. Has anyone had to / have a rough price estimation for what I'd be up for to get my 1989 R31's Windscreen replaced? The thing's cracked all the way through and absolutely dreadful, no solution but to go the whole hog and get a new one. Cheers in advance!

  7. Hey SAU! I'm looking to sell my almost totally stock and mostly loved but sometimes neglected 1989 R32 GTR. Haven't had the need for it for a while now, literally done <500km in 2018 as work is next door to home and so is Coles I'm looking for $30k but negotiable. No swaps. Car is currently in NSW, registered in VIC (exp oct/18). Currently will be sold without RWC, hence negotiable price. PM if interested, no test drives, better photos to come. General details: Bought Feb 2011, had 85kkm on it 110kkm now, was a daily for 3yrs, not used so much the last 4 hence relatively low ~4kkm/yr Timing/water etc standard stuff done for the 100k service at 96kkm. Bosch alternator with custom loom done then too, as well as all the main oil/water piping (blue in the pictures) Literally only mods are pods, 4" exhaust, fuel pump (not sure what, not going to open up and see but it sounds Bosch definitely not stock), thermo fan not that that counts Inverted U-shaped crack about the size of tissue box passenger side window at the bottom left, not a RWC issue AFAIK Scrape/dent from tiny Sydney carparks just forward of back left wheel-well, pizza box sized, quote was about $700 to fix and paint (pics to come) Overall paint about a 2/5, few peelings around the place, and generally the last re-paint seems to have been not the best as some bubbles Some pictures as it was 4yrs ago (the 2 dirty ones prior to a clean after a road trip), newer pictures to come. Cheers guys!
  8. Advertising on behalf of a friend, see below spiel for details. Please contact him for further details if you are interested: https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Nissan-Skyline-1989/SSE-AD-5533413/?Cr=15 1989 Nissan R32 GTR, RB26DETT, 5 speed ATESSA 4WD. Im selling this on behalf of my uncle, who is an elderly GTR gentleman enthusiast. It is now being sold to make way for his dream GTR R35. During his ownership, he has travelled less than 25000 ks. This car is an early build 89 GTR, and was imported around 10 years ago by a reputable importer, under what was then the 15 year old scheme, so this means that the car didn’t have to have a lot of the usual mods such as guard indicators, modified tail lights etc the ones imported under RAWS did, hence it retains the original GTR features that will suit the enthusiast/collector. Unlike most GTR’s of this age, it is rust free, and the paint (original colour) is in very good condition, with very few minor blemishes. It should be thought of as a ‘’survivor car’’ as opposed to one that has been restored, so keep in mind this car is almost 30 years old. Inside, the seats are in good condition, although the material has separated from the foam, so whilst not ripped, could do with taking to a trimmer to be re-glued to make it perfect. It has an aftermarket steering wheel, boost and oil pressure gauge. It has a Sony CD player that was fitted in Australia at the time. The interior clock works intermittently (as is common on these cars) but the climate display works fine. Of note is that the dash does not have a bubble or a crack, and the vents are all in good condition. If you are a GTR enthusiast, you will know how rare this is, and also is evidence of how the car has been kept indoors most of its life. It has been religiously serviced and has what we believe to be a turbo upgrade, and has a minor boost increase. That said, I am unsure, so cant confirm specs. It also had a heavy duty clutch fitted some time ago in Australia. It has an aftermarket alloy radiator, and has had the inlet manifold removed recently and hoses replaced. It also has an aftermarket cat-back exhaust system on the car. The wheels are finished in matt black, and are 17 x 9”with good tyres. It also had a Brembo R33 GTR front and rear brake upgrade with slotted rotors, which significantly improved its braking ability, and is the same as featured on the rare V spec/Vspec II models. The odometer is showing 141000ks and our checks so far have shown this to be real. If you want to do your own checks go right ahead. The car does not have log books, or any paperwork, but once again, it has been in Australia for around 10 years with one owner, so the history is known from then. Rust free and very tidy GTR’s like this are very hard to find in Japan, and if you do find one, would cost more than we are asking for this. As such, please: Do not call or messaging asking ‘’whats your best price’’- if you are a genuine buyer you will make an appointment to inspect the vehicle and we can discuss, but note that we are not interested in giving the car away, so don’t waste our time or yours with low-ball offers; Have your money/finance ready to go. Don’t bother calling if you have to get a loan, talk to the bank manager, sell your car, ask your mum, or get permission from the Mrs. This is all stuff you need to sort out well before coming to look, as odds are, it will have sold before you get your sh*t together; Not interested in trades, swaps or anything of that nature. And yes, cash is the currency we deal in, so its pointless asking me ‘’how much for cash money” as we aren’t interested in exchanges of goats, cheese, bitcoin, your kid sister or anything of that nature; I can assist with arranging interstate transport at cheap prices. Price: $43,500 negotiable Location: Newcastle, NSW Please contact me on 0411789506 to discuss. Regards, Bryan
