  4. EOI Trade - 290kw JZS147 aristo 2JZ for GTR 32/33 Wanting to trade my single turbo JZS147 aristo for a lightly modified R32/R33 gtr in Sydney. Or even sell outright if someone is interested. Not massively fussed on colour, just a clean body with no rust & light modifications is mainly what I'm after, only wanting a weekend street car for now, as the aristo has been for a few years. Reason for trade is i have no need for the big 4 door, i miss driving manual as my daily is also an auto, & all my spare bits & pieces are for an RB26, not so good for a 2jz. Quick specs list: * 1995 S2 in black with leather interior & factory sunroof, factory LSD, cruise control * Rego valid until September 2017 * shift-kitted auto gearbox with trans cooler & factory converter * 2JZ with single Garrett GT3582 turbo making 286kw at the wheels on 18psi * Apexi Super AFC piggyback on standard ECU Turbosmart eboost street boost controller (set to 15psi low & 18psi high boost) 19" work meisters Veilside twin 3" exhaust * adjustable fuel pressure reg with gauge in engine bay * I'm sure there's a whole lot more I've forgotten here Plenty of work done, this is a quick car even for its weight & size. Traction control is there for a reason. I've had this car for the past 3 years now, had a lot of maintenance & servicing work carried out to bring the car back up to a reliable level: * radiator replaced approx 12 months ago * lots of seals replaced as it was leaking oil in a few places (no longer), these include front & rear mains * turbosmart 40mm external wastegate installed & plumbed back into exhaust - approx 12 months old * turbosmart bov fully plumbed back - approx 12 months old * Apexi Super AFC & Turbosmart eboost installed as part of upgrade works roughly 12 months ago Car value is being listed at $13K neg, I have roughly 10K in receipts alone for work carried out in the past 2 years. I can add cash on top for a tidy GTR up to a certain point, or I also have a road bike which I can throw in to increase the value on my side. Please PM me on here, or msg 0407 896 339 for further info, questions or offers. Cheers, Chris
  5. Hi all, name is Madhav. Originally from Perth but moved to Thailand a few years back. Been living here in Koh Samui for a few years, have discovered there is actually a pretty mad modified car scene in Thailand. Locals love to modify JDM cars. However the real bonus is that there are no speed cameras where I live and the police couldn't give a shit, can pretty much do whatever I want without being bothered. For example I frequently overtake police cars where I live and they couldn't care less. I started looking to buy a car with a budget of about AU$6-7k to spend. Wanted something turbo, manual, reasonably lightweight and with good possibility of upgrading to make more power. Found the A31 cefiros to be a common tuner car here. The Thai people love to smash RB25's and toyota 1J and 2J engines in them (even saw a few with 1UZ engines). Found this one and had it checked out by a mechanic and it all came back ok. My previous car was a mk 4 supra with a single setup, so was more comfortable 2JZ. Easy to make big power is an added bonus. The original owner spent a spent a small fortune. Lots of mods, many of them appear to be more track orientated though. ENGINE: 2JZGTE with stock twins boosted at about 15psi Usual breathing mods - intake, exhaust, cooler, BOV etc HKS Cam gears Noisy as hell fuel pump setup with surge tank More but I got a list in Thai which is hard to decipher DRIVETRAIN: RB25 5-speed manual (FS5R30A) HKS clutch of some kind (heavy and noisy) OTHER: Koni shocks (stupidly stiff) 2 pot front and single pot rear brakes with uprated brake lines VOLK 18' rims with 245 front and 265 rear tyres INTERIOR: Roll cage Fixed bride seat which is a bitch to get in and out of Christmas tree style instrument panel and gauges That's it for now. looking forward to picking people's brains about modifications.
  6. Hi guys, im currently living out of Aus for a few years and would like to pick up a cheap car for daily driving and fun cruising on the weekend. I have average experience with cars and do alot of reading on specs/stats etc. I would like to know some pros and cons from users here in regards to buying a 2nd hand cefiro with one of these turbo engines. Im a big fan of these 3 engines and there is a large supply of cefiros for sale with these engines available in them. Now obviously it depends how good the work has been done on the car, but for now i would like to be able to narrow my search on them. It will most likely be personal preference of which engine, but in regards for maintenance etc and less issues of modified engines i have heard the 1jz is quite reliable. Rb25 would be great, and the 2jz has always made me cream myself as a youngster watching my first mkiv supra fly by...... If anyone has experience in these engines in a conversion point of view, especially in a cefiro could you please let me know. I would be driving manual. A few of them have had LPG conversions too.....im not too fond of the idea and i have done some googling on LPG tubo cars, but could i get some light shed on the idea of LPG in a turbo car. The reason for buying a cefiro is because years ago they were a bigger import here and anything such as a skyline, or silvia/s14/180sx are a few thousand $ more than the cefiros that have had some slight work........hence the choice of the A31. I have drivin in some old soarers and a chaser. Ive never drivin a rb25det. They are all fun to ride in but now that im looking at 1 chasis and have to choose which engine its quite difficult! I enjoy my cars and im not too biased about them. Dont be upset or biased about a nissan running a toyota engine please!! Just give me your thoughts from a tuners POV. Thanks heaps! Any help will be much appreciated.
  7. Hi All. For sale is my Eaton M62 Roots Supercharger, with electronic clutch. Off a Mercedes CLK 230 Kompressor. (A 2.3L 4 cyl i think...) I bought it originally to do my R31 wagon RB30 project. But budget constraints and more off the shelf performance have changed my mind. I have had the inlet and outlets on the supercharger properly fitted up from the square outlet to a neatly welded alloy pipe on either end, because I was going to side mount. I believe the pipe is 2.25 or 2.5". These blowers are hard to find. This blower has also been serviced previously to me buying it, so it has new oil and bearings, and no slop or play in the pulley, and I have never had it on the car. It also has a custom mounting plate on it also. It is low kms aas you will see from the rotors pics below. This is ideal for a twin charge setup, because you can plug the clutch into your auxilary output on an ECU to cut the blower out when your turbo kicks in, so you have boost from go to woe. Or if you want to just run a supercharger (was my plan on the dirty 30), Eaton rates these blowers from 2-4L applications, though they are best suited to 3L and below singly and you can switch it on and off whenever, handy for cops etc. If you wanna drive around N/A, sweet, you want some extra boost at the lights, you flick it on These are hard to get, because they only come out in the mercs. They flow a lot better and lot more efficiently than the SC12s/SC14s and are a more compact unit than the M90s. Can post anywhere in Aus at buyers expense. Comes with mounting plate, piping on inlets and outlets with gaskets, spare stainless flanges. Current piping can also be cut down and modified to fit other ways. Blower can also be mounted any way, eg. upside down, sideways etc. Asking $800 ONO , make an offer because i've already got my turbo. thanks guys Simon 0407162720 Located in South East QLD Pics here: http://imgur.com/a/8Z6Dr#0 Pics of Rotors: http://i.imgur.com/U3tWR.jpg http://i.imgur.com/3pvYe.jpg and video:
