  1. Hey Team, A bit to unload here. Hello from New Zealand I have a 2009 Nissan Skyline 370GT ( Type SP ) Auto 7 Speed, that I've had since 2022 and have loved the car since. Its painted in its factory QAB ( White Pearl ) with the Impul front lip and rare boot lid/spoiler with woodgrain interior. Mods since I've bought it and installed: Stillen Gen 3 Long Tube Intakes Motordyne Shockwave Catback Exhaust JDM Skyline Taillights Fake carbon spoiler and front grill ( Will be taking off.... its cringe ) VR30DETT Transmission from the Q50/Q60 to hold up to 550 Foot pounds of Torque ( 753 nm ) reliable Currently I plan to turbo the car and have all the parts needed ( Photo Included ), I have my tuning day set on August 8th and choosing EcuTek as my tuning platform. Two of my work colleagues has their 370Z ( Manuel ) and 370GT coupe ( Type SP - Manuel ) also turbo'd and they have inspired me to get it done I have prepped quite a wee bit for this, as I had done the VR30 transmission swap over to this car so that I can achieve my HP goals without torque being an issue. I've taken quite a cautions route, as im always thinking about the safety as well as performance with my build, I'd rather do it properly and not cut corners etc etc. Any who, I've recently picked up the AutoStrada cruise control kit with all the included cables/wires/instructions. I've been hella researching around and can't find much on the integration that it has with the ECU and/or system. the only reason why im asking is, because I'm getting EcuTek and one of them RaceRom features allows the ability to switch maps via the cruise control function, which I am currently in the grey area if this would add-on via the Canbus will allow me to switch maps or have the option to use Cruise Control to begin with ( showing up on the instrument cluster to advise Cruise Control being set etc etc ) Because of my model being Type SP, Cruise Control on these models was never an option from factory unfortunately. Anyone here that is able to shed some light on if the Cruise Control via AutoStrada gives OEM ability over the cruise control. Would love and appreciate any response and/or assistance with this, also happy to answer any question about my build and ill try pitch in where I can. Warm Regards,

  5. I have used the import/export functions to update the CDDB information after loading a CD into Music Box, this is a fairly simple process, but I see there are menu options for updating the CDDB data over the internet. Does anybody know how I can get the car connected to the internet? Can I create a wifi hotspot on my phone and connect via that, or can the car connect to the internet through Bluetooth? Or is the internet connection one of those proprietary things that only work in Japan in conjunction with Carwings etc? -- 2010 370GT coupe

  7. Hey guys I've been trying to search for solution on the net, but can't seem to find one. Does anyone know if Cruise Control can be unlocked to go past 110 km/h? I understand that most or all Jap imports have that, but does anyone know the solution or a work around it? Also if there is a speed limiter is present is it possible to disable it? Thanks
  8. Hi everyone, I'm a proud owner of Dragon, my '07 Nissan Skyline 370GT V36. Had this car for over 2 years now and I've been a casual lurker on this site since then. I have finally made the decision to join. I live in the Southern Brisbane area and I'm looking for places where I can take my car to receive some good loving. I love my car to bits, I take care of it really well, but I'd like to start exploring and giving it some extra care and attention by starting on some upgrades, but would like to sort out a place I can take it to with confidence. If anyone can recommend some good mechanics, tuning and detailing shops around my area, it would be highly appreciated (I have tried searching around the forums, but I'm having trouble finding any recent entries regarding this - unless I'm blind :P) Any help and/or tips would be wonderful. Thanks in advance and looking forward to conversing with the lot of you! -AC
  9. Hi guys I've seen a couple of threads on this subject but none that answered my specific question. I've had my 2009 370GT (7 speed auto) sedan for over 3 years and 20,000km now and ever since I bought her I've only ever used 91 petrol (the same as I did for my V35 300GT) because I never did any investigating. I have never had any problems running on 91 - she runs smoothly and perfectly, does 0-100 in 5.5 sec, no pinging, rough running etc, and I can consistently get over 600km on a tank with a motorway, city, cruisy and wheel spinning mix of driving. It was only researching about doing an oil change myself (and downloading a US Infiniti G37 manual) that I came upon the concerns about using the wrong fuel. Is it okay to keep on going as is or do I really run the risk of damaging the car? Cheers
  10. Hey guys New to this forum, recently bought a V36 350gt Type SP, and it has what looks to be an antenna/parking pole, in the front bumper on the passenger side. I've spent the last hour or so looking reading through owners manuals, but no luck. Does anybody know how to retract it? Currently it's up whenever the car is on and I'm finding it a bit annoying. Attached are a couple of pics. Any help would be appreciated Cheers!
  11. Anyone replaced a windscreen? is there a local equivalent? I just coped a rock through mine

They were on a v35 coupe so comes with the adaptors, the guy who took them off was very suprised at the quality of the adaptors and the condition of the brakes (i am not a mechanic), came off the car when it was going through compliance and i had bought them for a project but thats not happening now. 4 Pot Front and 2 Pot Rears (sorry im not sure about rotor sizes but if you search sau, you are sure to find them They are bloody huge though.... 18. I have a 2008 370gt needing its windscreen wipers replaced. Having followed the G37 US forum figured the sizing was 26" and 17" length wipers. Has anyone found any wipers that fit the coupe locally instead of buying online, reluctant to ship a set of Bosch Icon's from the states as it will cost close to $100 AUD unless there is nothing I can buy locally.
  19. Hi just woundering if anyone can assist? Iv had a 370gt coupe for about 6 months now with 60,000kms and have had an issue with the window drop. The window drop works fine but is noisy and very harsh,as u open the door the window drops very fast and seems to be dropping a tad too far and wen it drops the whole door shakes and once in the car as it raises back up it makes a slight click sound. I'm assuming it's the regulators, cable stretched or just worn out. ? Hope someone can help
  20. Hi everyone I'm trying to find a brand new set of the oem skyline mats that came with the 370gt. I'm hoping someone might have some info as to where I can get these from. I'm even willing to swap mine which are still in good condition + some cash. But ideally I'd love a brand new set. Iv spoke to Nissan and they can't even find them on the system which I find strange.

  23. Hi All, Time to sell the awesome Skyline 370GT V36 Sedan because of my overseas work relocation. Car has done 69000kms and selling it for $25000 Interior and paintworks are in excellent condition almost like new, regularly wash and wax and the engine itself are in top condition. All original paperworks and service history are available from new till latest date. Have to admit that coming from JDM turbo cars from the previous 4 cars that this one has shown me that you don't always need a turbo to be a fast car. This 370GT has a better acceleration reaction and top end compared to my previous standard S15, Evo7 or the twin turbo VR4, yet the fuel economy and passenger comfort and others car features is way better with the factory build-in technology in the car itself. 6 Airbags, HID Adaptive Lights, Factory Enkei 18" Wheels, Snow mode, Music Hard Drive, Front and Rear cameras, etc..... If you look for a performance car that can carry your family, sleek looking and showered with latest technology this is one of it. Plenty of information and discussion on this forum if you need more info on this awesome machine. Contact: Andre 0421037770
  24. 2008 370 GT Type S Coupe for sale I'm selling my '08 370GT Type S. After less than a year of ownership I need to sell my 370GT Type S in order to get finance for a new home. It's going cheap as a need to sell it ASAP. Currently asking $18,777. It has 105,000 kms and has a comprehensive history of work done. It's in good condition, the only issue is, sadly, the A/C stopped blowing cold air, another reason for the aggressive pricing. Tyres are good and a major service was done at 100k. It has the OEM sports grill installed and I still have the original grill. Fire away any question and let me know if you would like to see it.
  25. V36 370GT owner Hi, I have a 2010 370GT coupe, which I changed to after having 2 300ZX tt Fairlady's over the last 18 years. Sadly the 300ZX need a lot of maintenance and repairs, which I just wasn't achieving, and this shiny red Skyline caught my eye. Anyways, I am in Waikato, New Zealand, work in software development, and love my 370GT : ) Between my wife and I, I think this is our 7th Nissan (our other current vehicle is a X-Trail). I'm not sure if I should take my Skyline to the local NZ Nissan dealers for servicing and support, but I am not finding a lot of technical information or discussions on the web for these things. Were they an extremely small production run, or is all the tech support in Japanese and not found by Google?
