Just wanted to know what the fine for running a decat pipe is, and whether anyone's been done for it? I hear the fine is something ridiculous like $10,000 and mobile EPA officers at defect stations can d!ck you for this simply by getting an emissions reading and extrapolating the fact your car is passing out very dirty gases.....can someone shed some light on this?

Hi all, For sale is the equipment I used to pass the EPA testing, displayed is the under side of the exhaust as you can see its excellent shape, no cracks or dents. With an aftermarket front pipe this still got me to 88db, the OEM exhaust is louder than 90db btw. The Restrictor plate is been shaped to sit flush with the flanges. In test the inspectors carry out an extensive under car examination it pays to have the stock exhaust. The 400cell cat is brand new with less than 100kms on it. Price for the lot is $350. I payed $250 for the exhaust and $200 for the cat -
