Anyone here in sydney running E85 or E-Flex that's also got a zeitronix ethanol sensor kit (e.g. Alpha Omega kit) setup in their cars? Just want to know what the average ethanol rating the sensor shows, from what I've heard caltex in the central coast seems pretty consistent at E70-72. I'm targeting the E-Flex pumps at Ermington and Holsworthy as possible fill up servos, just wanted to know as ECU is currently prohibiting me from being able to utilise an ethanol sensor kit.

Ok peoples, I'm replacing all my fuel hose with SS braided PTFE (Teflon) AN6 hose. I just want to know what this "Fuel dumper" does (I know it's on the return line to the tank), and can I ditch it? Additional info about my ride that is probably relevant: Tuned for E85 top feed rail with 1000cc injectors TurboSmart FPR feeds this thing Here's a pic from the "replace fuel filter" thread: Any help would be appreciated.. Cheers.

1989 R32 Skyline GTR Number Plate ‘RB26GTR’ 360rwkw @ 20psi on E85 Price $27,999 Location: SA I have owned this car for almost 5 years, bought it virtually stock with an exhaust on it. I have either upgraded almost everything in that time. The only part that still remains since the day I bought it is the front pipe, and even that has been modified. Lots of money and love has gone into this car over the years, I have a folder full of receipts for it. I have only listed the performance mods below; it has also been maintained to a high level. The time has come now to sell the car and buy something a little more family friendly. If you are looking for a well maintained R32 GTR that you can confidently take to a track day and have fun and drive home in it afterwards then this is probably the car for you. My main goal for the past few years was to build a car that was capable of sustaining a day of driving on the weekend and still be reliable enough to drive to work on Monday. I have only done 3 track days in it, and it has performed great. It is still 2.6L which is why I have the number plate. The car is also fully capable of running E85 as the fuel system has been upgraded and tuned to suit. The car drives well, and is a day in day out 350+rwkw car. For those that have ridden in this car can attest that it really is a great fast car. So for a 350+rwkw car on E85 that is reliable the price is $27,999. This is a fair asking price given the work that has been done to it and money spent on maintenance all up totalling over $35k Engine Rebuild RB26 – Built by Shaun @ Boostworx in May 2009 CP Forged Pistons Tomei Metal Head Gasket Gates Racing Timing Belt New R33 GTR Crank New Std Oil Pump New Water Pump ACL Race Bearings – Main & Conrod Reconditioned Head Tomei Sump Baffle Tomei oil restrictor Mines Rocker Cover Baffles Gates Racing Timing Belt Nismo Engine & Gearbox Mounts – Fitted June 2011 Just Jap Autech Style Catch Can – Fitted Nov 2012 Performance Garrett 2860-5 turbos – Fitted April 2009 Tomei Poncams Type B (260 degree, 9.15 lift) – Fitted March 2012 1000cc injectors – Fitted Feb 2011 Custom twin walbro intank fuel pump – (similar to Powertune Setup) – Fitted Feb 2011 Custom twin fuel lines to std fuel rail – Fitted Feb 2011 ARC 70mm Intercooler – Fitted May 2011 Nismo AFM’s – Fitted Nov 2010 K&N Air Filter Nistune ECU – Fitted Nov 2010 Turbosmart E-Boost Street – Fitted Nov 2010 Yellow Jacket Coil Packs – Fitted Nov 2010 Silicone Intercooler Hose Kit – Fitted Nov 2010 Exhaust Mines 65mm dump pipes 2.75in – 4in front pipe 4in AM Performance cat back exhaust – Fitted Dec 2011 Wheels , Tyres & Brakes Nismo LM GT2 – 9.5in wide +15 offset Federal RSR 235/40 R17 – Fitted April 2012 (barely worn) R34 GTR Brembo all round – Fitted Oct 2010 Braided Brake Lines Slotted Rotors QFM HPX Brake Pads all round Suspension Tein Super Street Coilovers – Jap Spec – Fitted Dec 2008 Hicas Lockbar Rear Subframe Whiteline Pineapples Whiteline Rear Adjustable Sway Bar – Fitted Dec 2008 Super Pro – Adjustable – Rear Upper Control Arm Bushes – Fitted Aug 2010 Super Pro – Adjustable – Front Upper Control Arm Bushes – Fitted Aug 2010 Super Pro – Adjustable – Rear Lower Control Arm Bushes – Fitted May 2011 Super Pro Crossmember Bushes – Fitted Jun 2011 Other Jim Berry ‘Montyzilla’ Clutch - 9.5in clutch plate, 1.8tonne pressure plate Clutch engages great, very soft pedal. Went to fill up this morning, and the E-Flex pumps were taped off. Spoke to the guy behind the counter and he said that Caltex are no longer bringing in stock of E85. He said that a couple of servo's still have a few weeks' stock, and then that's it. Anyone else heard this news? He suggested partitioning Caltex to keep E85 in SA. So if this is true... then the only place left is United. For me, the closest is probably the Adelaide airport station (which I hope is 24 hours... might not be). Unfortunately, my tuner says the United mix is higher ethanol content (about E80-E85 compared to Caltex E60-E70 ish). This is good for power, but probably means a retune. Or a calculated mix with some added '98. Nistune do flex-fuel sensors now, but that looks like costing another $2,500-3000 because a lot of re-tuning is required. Anybody else running E85?

Hey people, I currently have an rb20det with; -Z32 AFM -GTR 444cc injectors -Walbro 250lph pump -VG30 turbo (rb20 wastegate) running 15psi off a boost t -Intercooler -Cat back -Nistune Currently running around 190rwkw. Now I have in my head two paths to go down. 1st, I was thinking leaving the vg30 turbs on there (has nil shaft play and blades look fantastic still) and upgrading to an E85 450lph Walbro pump, larger injectors and getting it tuned on E85. With that in mind what size injectors would I be looking at 750's or 1000cc's. 1000's seem massive to me on an rb20 with small to mild mods? 2nd path I was thinking was to go a hypergear hiflow and retune. With either option i'm going to upgrade dump pipe and electronic boost controller. Just after some opinions on which option would be a better bang for my back upgrade for the lack of a better term. Cheers Steve.

Hi people, i am after some help picking fuel filters, my pump recommends a max of 10-30 micron post pump and 60 micron pre pump. at the moment i am thinking: Russell ProFilter Fuel Filters 649170 (60 Micron) and Russell ProFilter Fuel Filters 649110 (10 Micron) or FUELAB 828 Series Inline Fuel Filters 82824 (75 Micron) and FUELAB 828 Series Inline Fuel Filters 82814 (40 Micron) i have heard good things about Fuelab stuff but haven't heard anything about the Russell ProFilters, the Fuelab are compact vs the Russell stuff but the Russell stuff has finer filtration. Does anyone have any recommendations on fuel filters or thoughts on the above filters? i am wanting two with -12 fittings to suit E85 fuel. pump is an SX 18207 thanks in advance.

The only downside is the drivers seat has a tear, this is very common with r32 GTRs. Hi Everyone, attempt 2 at posting this thread. Tip: Don’t be trawling Wasteland threads and post something right before alt-tabbing back and trying to post a for sale thread that’s massive. TLDR: Buy the engine that did this, thanks. Rest of complete setup for sale if you or someone does. Can just bolt it into a R33 or R34 GTT and save moneys (like, everything). Obviously could put the engine anywhere you can put a RB25. Very negotiable if you want to buy the entire thing and bolt it or re-sell it or what have you. https://www.facebook.com/ChequeredTuning/posts/718855688158365 I recently ‘finished’ my R34 setup, finally, after about 6 years of crap. Then I drove it into an Embankment at low speed and bent the chassis and pretty much nothing else, so everything in this list is 100% working and very near new. However, it was enough to write off the chassis. I will only separate parts if the engine is sold. If the engine is not sold, I’ll get the lot put back into a different shell. In this way I’m letting rajab decide whether I go GTT or something else. Note: In car and running, can physically show you if in Victoria. Engine: BC 2.9L Stroker Kit http://www.briancrower.com/view.php?pn=BC0238 Tomei Type B Poncams Tomei Exhaust Cam Gear Nitto Custom Forged Pistons Ported/Polished Head (unsure on exact flow. clearly works though, and can see the exhaust side is slightly larger than stock manifold ports) Spitfire Coilpacks JUN Oil Pump New Gaskets, Bearings when rebuilt New Idler, Tensioner, Timing, Water Pump when rebuilt Cometic 1.8mm Metal Head Gasket ARP Head Studs Xspurt 1400cc Ethanol Injectors Turbosmart Kompact Plumb Back BOV EARLS Fuel Filter Totally legal in Vic. Totally legal anywhere else, too. Vicroads will give you no problems with this. Engine has done 15,000kms since built. As before, can see running. Has been 1 day since dyno runs. Yes, I bent the chassis the day after. This was sad. I have all the reciepts, emails back and forth, all the info you're likely to want, though really the proof is in the dyno sheet. Seems to love timing (running a lot, no pinging) Seems to love boost (running a lot, no pinging or weirdness) It's about as solid as any engine you'll ever get built by someone who doesn't call themselves "Nissan" It also won't take 6 months of stuffing around, waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting and so on to be built, put together, put in the car, run in, etc. It's all done. Put it in and drive. If you buy the ECU and Turbo and everything else as its for sale, you won't even need a damn tune. Ever. lol I'd love $12k for it. I'm negotiable. That seems like a high number. If you like, google the parts listed above and ask your local engine builder for a quote on labour. Then add the cost of waiting for it to all arrive, be put together and so on. It's OK. I'll wait. But I'm pretty negotiable if need be. But not stupidly so. 3k will not get you this engine and I'll just buy a stock auto GTT sedan for about $3 and get it all put in there and get back to 330RWKW at 3500 RPM. Lets entertain the thought that someone buys the engine. If so, everything below this sentence is also for sale. it's also very new. Haltech Platinum Sport 2000 (this is a glorious ECU) Haltech Wideband CAN Controller (controls AFR on the fly, 200 times a second. Has stuff built in to stop it doing weird things and blowing your engine. You can also set it to max adjust like 1% if you're super worried). Not that you need it, because the tune in the ECU had this OFF when it got the AFR mentioned on the Chequred tuning link. Full E-Flex sensor. Put whatever you want in the tank, man. Garrett GTX3076R Turbosmart Hypergate 45mm - This is welded onto the turbine housing. This setup clearly works. If you hate it, you could always put on a kando housing for $200 and mount this wherever you want with whatever manifold you want. Walbro 460 LPH Fuel Pump - complete with super wiring! Scotty Custom dump+screamer made by the venerable scotty nm35 - 2x45 degree stainless bends instead of the usual 90. Goes to 5in cat. So much flow! Has seperate 2in screamer which could be plumed back into the cat if you ask nicely. I was going to do this, but maaaay have found myself making this thread instead. Shit. Suspension and Grip things Front and Rear Bilstein Shocks Eibach front and rear main springs. Eibach rear helper springs Coil over kit x4 so you can raise or lower the height and be fully sick if you so wish (I didn't) Custom Front Strut Tops - Allows more travel in the front. Just incase joe cop decides to push down on your bonnet. Or say, you go over a bump. Whiteline Caster Kit Whiteline Front Camber kit Whiteline Rear Camber Kits x 2 Bump Stop Kits X 2 R34 Series II Helical Diff and half shafts - Someone said these were rare. Works well! Rear Subframe alignment kit (pineapples - they work!) Whiteline 24mm Front Sway Bar (BNF24Z) Whiteline 24mm Rear Sway Bar (BNR11XXZ) Heavy Duty Swaybar Links for the above Brand new Nitto NT05 Tyres - 245/40/18 and 275/40/18 on F/R respectively. Ok, they've done maybe 100kms. Autech 8piston 356MM Front brake kit. People talk bla bla bla about suspension all the time, but I was able to go WoT in 1st gear (auto, remember, 1st gear is a bit longer) with dyno results posted above and not lose grip. I would say its worth spending the money and not getting BC's and would do it again. Or you could save half the cost and buy mine. If you buy my engine. Which is again, saving a lot. I also have a really, really, really built Auto transmission for aforementioned R34. I know you're reading, yawning, thinking "man, lolz, auto" but it has its own ECU, two transmission coolers, and is connected to the paddles on the R34 steering wheel. Touch the button, insta shift goodness. Touch the button when you're cruising around town, insta shift smoothness you can't feel. Do it at 7000RPM at WoT and you may or may not need spine surgery. But considering you fell asleep reading that sentence about automatic transmissions, whatever, buy the engine. Or not. May seem like a lot, cost a lot more to begin with. Be financially responsible by buying the fruits of my financial irresponsibility! PM me, PM me now!

I'm currently putting together a RB25DE+T neo running from a PS2000. I am intending on running a flex setup to capitalize on the extra compression, while shopping for the ethanol sensor I noticed a few wideband oxygen sensors. What is the general consensus on the value of a wideband for a flexfuel setup? My build Internally stock R34 RB25DE+T with a turbo head. Castrol Edge 10w60 is used every 5,000km and oil temps stay below 100 degrees on spirited driving. The beauty of this setup is that it can easily be reverted back to factory standard as everything was a bolt on affair and I have ALL the standard engine parts AND a whole bunch of spares (plenum, fuel rail, sump, CAS etc); which will be included in the sale. Also included in the sale will be a complete dump back standard R33 GT-R exhaust system and standard R33 GT-R V Spec suspension. The car was tuned in August at Chequered Tuning on United E85. Final power figure was 364rwkw @ 6,500rpm and just shy of 600Nm @ 4,000rpm. Reaches full boost of 21psi by 4000rpm. The body has a few imperfections as the car is actually driven and currently sits on approximately 127,xxxkm. I can't imagine it being a major turn off to potential buyers though. The car is for sale at a price of $25,000 ONO. RWC can be provided upon negotiation with the buyer. I have been as thorough as possible in specifying what I have to offer and would appreciate nobody making ridiculous offers. I am not here to entertain joy riders and a deposit would be required prior to test driving the vehicle. Kindest regards Michael
