  1. Hey guys, I'm trying to build my own oil cooler kit and I need some help with fitting and hoses. I've bought: -GREX sandwitch plate with built-in thermostat (-10AN outlets) -Mocal 19 rows oil cooler core (5/8BSP outlets) So I'm just wondering what's the best fittings/hoses to use to join both of them up. I'm thinking of using -10AN braided hoses, so I'll get 2 x -10AN to -10AN hose and 2 x 5/8BSP to -10AN hose? Is that correct? Also, any recommendations on where I could get them from? Cheers

  6. The other day while driving down my street, a power pole jumped out in front me and hit my pride and joy ! She was smacked badly enough to ensure she never sees the street again, however luckily, nearly everything (including myself) came out of it with barely a scratch.   7. Up for sale is my Greddy Multi Switching System. Wires were run in the car but never connected or installed Selling due to going for a ECU upgrade that can handle what this switch was intended for. These products are discontinued and becoming rather hard to find, Bonus as this is as new! A bit of info on the switch: GReddy Multi Switching System (MSS) is a two-channel programmable general output controller. Can be mounted anywhere into the vehicle and directly wired to the ECU harness so things like Nitrous, Cooler sprayers, or Solenoids to name a few. Each channel is activated through one, two or three parameters such as RPM, speed, temperature, boost or any other analog signal. There is also a extra Relay Kit available online you can activate fuel pumps, electric fans and other higher drawing items. The multi color display can also monitor the inputted signals for peak-hold and warning values. Breakdown of features: Two separate outputs for switching (on and off) electronic devices such as solenoids, IC sprayers, warning lamps, thermofans etc Each channel can be prgrammed through one, two or three parameters such as RPM, speed, temp, boost or any other analogue signal Multi coloured display can monitor signals for peak hold and warning values for input signals Cockpit mounted and can be wired in to ECU signals or external sensors Item will be posted via registered post.   8. Hey guys, so i have a Greddy style plenum for my 25det. And its come to the part to bolt the plenum on to the block. Just wondering which bolts go where on the plenum-to-block? I have a sort of idea where they are suppose to go, but was just wanting some expert opinion to make sure, so i don't stuff anything up hahaha. Thanks guys, any pointers will be great!   9. Hey guys, I'm thinking about welding on a Greddy/Trust sump extension while the engine is out of my car. Has anyone done one and have any feedback on it? Does it make engine refit a prick? Was it difficult to get it to lined up for welding? Any feedback would be awesome. Very little info on here or the web. Cheers, Ewan.
  10. Hi All, Still wanting to get rid of my clutch and spare plenum, possibly the brakes as well. Located in Narangba, Bris. best contact is 0421 933 614. Greddy plenum - $700 This has about 5000km worth of use through it, runs the 6 throttle bodies still. - does not include throttle body assembly. NPC twin plate clutch - $1200 This was in my old r32 GTR. held approx 500hp with no drama's. Was told it should hold up to around 1000hp. Solid centre, but still fine to drive on the street. I drove it a few times in brissie peak hour with no hassle. AP racing 6 pot calipers, 354mm 2 pieces rotors, custom braided lines and fitting hardware - $4300 These have about 5000km of use on them, mainly just daily street driving, have seen about 5 laps of QR and performed wonderfully.   21. 1x R33 APEXi Power FC (model serial no: PFC ECR33 010-1098) 1x APEXi Power FC hand controller (model serial no: FCC3 020-08934) 1x GReddy PRofec B-spec II (complete with wiring harnesses and solenoid) Removed from a running 1995 R33 GTST Series 1.5 RB25DET to upgrade to a Haltech ECU. The ECU came with the car when I bought it three and a half years ago. I bought and installed the PRofec B at that time. I had it all re-tuned in May 2012 when I installed 850cc Denso injectors and a GCG Hi-Flowed R34 turbo. That setup made 260 rwkw on pump 98 at 18-19 psi, we maxed out the stock valve springs as they were noisy with any more boost. I've upgraded to a Haltech Platinum Pro Plug-In ECU with built in boost control so I have no need for these. The tune currently on it is for stock R33 GTST RB25, stock (pink label) MAF, 850cc Denso injectors, front mount return flow intercooler and GCG hi-flowed turbo. Plus fuel pump and other supporting mods of course. As the package does include the hand controller it is possible to reset the ECU back to factory settings to plug into a car that is stock as a rock and have it work on a base tune. It's unlikely that you have the same mods as I did to be able to use the tune it has now, mainly the 850cc injectors etc. Price: $1,150 Where: McDowall, QLD How: Pickup preferred but will post at buyers expense.   25. Hello Thought I’d take time share with you my GTR. I’ve been a member on SAU since the early days – April 2002. Started on here as a young guy in my early 20’s – just sold my VP HSV and was looking to buy a R33 GTSt which were just starting to be sold at the yards around that time. After owing the GTSt, I moved onto Supras, Evo’s and various R33 and R34 GTR’s over the last 10 years. Although I loved the 2JZ Supras – the car that I always loved the most and always gives me the best memories – was my 2001 R34 GTR V Spec II. 2001 GTR V Spec II 1998 GTR Supra 2010 Shelby GT500 Being without a GTR for a number of years I decided I would start quietly keeping an eye out in Japan for my next car. I am very particular about my cars – extremely fussy – so I was in no rush – browsing the yards in Japan is half the fun. I was after a car in Japan – I had to be first owner in Australia. I was after a quality modified car – standard or near standard cars was not an option – as had many and I was looking for something more hardcore. Wanted a car built in Japan, of the highest quality, genuine low km, etc etc. This car would be a keeper – something I will spend time in with my sons, enjoy, etc. I was actually looking for a 34 …. when I received an email from Global Auto in Japan (where I had purchased the Autoselect R34 GTR the week before)…….. Just arrived at their yard – before they put it for sale would I be interested. Upon looking at the pictures and quick call to check over some details – I purchased it immediately. When bringing the car to Australia – I decided to ship the GTR directly to GT AUTO in Brisbane. As I’m in Perth – I entrusted Tim and Dave to look after the car for me - service, minor upgrades and tuning needed to be done.
