Hey Everyone, I'm new to the site. I've been in love with Skylines since I was around 13 years old, specifically R32's. I owned a R32 GTS-T about 6 years ago and just two weeks ago I finally became the owner of a fairly clean R32 GTR. I'm up in Cairns and haven't seen too many GTR's getting around so if anyone is in the area and keen to catch up hit me up. Cheers, Ash

Hey Guys, My name is Bobby , I am new to SAU forums but no stranger to owning Jap imports etc. I used to have an R32 (in my avatar) , since then had an S15 and now just drive my ute. I work with Dohmar and grabbed a non complied 33 late last year, planning on doing some hill climbs, motorkhanas, track days etc. The paintwork on the car is a bit rough and it was an automatic when I got it, its now manual with short shifter and puck clutch. Got Marky Marc at ET's to do some exhaust work for us with a screamer and flutes out the back , slowly but surely adding small bolt on's until I can spend more time and money later in the year once I finish working on the house. I started a blog to generate a bit of interest from friends, family and anybody that wants to donate goodies marketing. Check out the link if you get bored, I doubt I will get to any interstate events but for the Adelaide guys I look forward to seeing some of you other guys out there in 2013 ! Cheers

Hey all Name's Brodie and I discovered this site literally 12 hours ago. I've owned a Maroon 1993 Series 1 R33 Gtst for 2.5 years and it has taken that long to get it to this level. I bought it stock and the mods since owning it are; R34 GTR rims Dump pipe Turbo back exhaust HID's Changed every globe possible to a white LED Z32 air flow meter Apexi computer and hand controller Blitz R-Fit Air to fuel ratio gauge Boost gauge Splitfire coil packs Blitz front mount Catch can Nismo clear side indicators Short shifter kit Blitz gear knob GTR floormats Nismo seat covers Turbo smart boost controller Turbo smart BOV G-ready turbo timer Stereo install Pod filter I've got the dyno print out when the computer was installed running 200RwKw on 14 psi. And the work has been done by myself and my mechanically minded best friend. I'm letting the car develop as styles evolve and trends are set If anybody has any mods for sale, send me an inbox Cheers

Hey guys, new here sort of, not new to imports though. Owned sils, 180sx, and a 33. Bout time to buy another one. More interested in drifting these days. Have a rb25det to rebuild for a mate after a big end bolt fail while at QR. Been lurking for a couple of months, thought I would finally say hey. Bit about me, 29 yr old male that like walks on the beach, kissing in the rain and..... Oh wrong place. Nah, surfing, skating, snowboarding, drifting, building cars/ engines, photography, playing with carbon fibre/ fibreglass, helicopter mechanic by trade all round nice guy ummmmm yep that's me.

Hi all. Recently acquired an 89 R32 GTS coupe ( RB20DE, auto ) and decided to sign up to the forum after finding a wealth of good info that has helped me with the few issues I've had to resolve. I purchased the car mid october and while mechanically sound and reliable, the burgandy paintwork was atrocious and needed to be addressed. I spent a week preparing the car for a respray and awaiting the ideal weather conditons to apply the paint. Once content with my preparation ( far from perfect ) and with a warm dry day I tarped up the carport and laid on a black acrylic base-coat, followed by several clear-coats infused with a violet-metallic flake powder, at 5 grams per litre of thinner-diluted clear. The results aren't immaculate, but I'm pretty happy with them. I still have plenty of polishing to do, and re-coated the bonnet earlier today as I just couldn't get it right the first time. The car is pretty much standard except for a pod filter ( exposed ) some interior trim, sports wheel & pedals, and the stereo. I bought it with 224,000km on the clock but it runs fine and feels strong. The only two issues I've encountered so far were replacing the passenger seatbelt ( from an S13 ) as the original jammed repeatedly, and replacing the power-window assembly in the drivers door. Looking forward to contributing to the community.

Hey I am Rhys I just bought a R33 that had been defected (surprise) with the intention of fixing it up. Realised it is going to cost way to much to get roadworthy so looking at buying another one and having it as a parts car. Goal is to get involved in the community and enjoy some meets, cruises etc with other Skyline enthusiasts. Easy question to get started, how often do simple cruises happen?
