Hi! its been a long time since posted here glad to see the site is still up and running! I have a question for you guys that i hope at least 1 or you can help with, I need to know if a 280zx 5 speed gearbox will bolt onto an RB20DET bolt for bolt and will it work good for everyday driving? It is going to be fitted into a Nissan Laurel C32. So if you have any bit of information on this please help me out! THANKS!

I'm selling a mint condition RB20DET AP Engineering Power FC with a controller. Also comes with a custom felt lined bracket (in picture). I made this to mount it in the factory location in an R32GTS-T. Very rare for a genuine RB20 PFC to turn up for sale + you get a quality mounting bracket if you own an R32. So i have foam coming out of the radiator which means headgasket is gone. I have been told that getting a new RB20 is cheaper than doing the head purely because of the whole machining process. So I thought I might buy another RB20 with box (I need a new box as well) and clean it up and put it in when I have the time. So I will need a few things... RB20DET: Where do i source this from? Sure i can buy one of someone who has a "vgc" rb20 for sale but i'm working on a bit of a budget and would like to buy an engine which I feel confident in knowing that it will work. Gearbox: I have contacted Nissan A1 Wrecking on this before and they seem to give you a reconditioned, not serviced, box for $850 which I don't think is too bad. Is this the right place to source the box? With both of the main parts sorted now Will i need?: Clutch: Could i reuse my current one? or because it's going onto a new block will i need a new one, if yes, Where do i source a cheap Exedy sports tuff clutch? What else will I need for this? / What else should I do while i am replacing an engine? ('92 R32 GTS-T) and I am located Brisbane.
