Hi all, I am currently in the middle of Building/Converting an RB30DET S14 Facelift and require some opinions from people with experience. I am aiming at a 400-450Hp (300-350KW) build, I am mid-way through and need some help deciding between a few items, I am not to stressed on the money side of things but prefur not to be paying out the ass for unnecessary items that dont give much power output. This is the build I have in mind and wondering if there are any things that people would change or would rate. RB30 block from VL auto Commedore (Honed and Dipped) Rb25DE head TopMount Manifold with 44MM wastegate 750-850cc Injectors Ultra Spark Coil packs Garret Turbo, either GT35R, TA3410 or GT3076. ( has anyone dealt with chinese rip-ops of these turbos and know if they are anywhere worth it? have been told not to bother but never heard of anyone having one blow up on them ) Have a crank collar, New water pump, Oil restricters etc I have a mate building this with me who is definately more switched on when it comes to RB's so ignore if I sound a little new to this. This is where i need help on deciding things. - I have read RB20DET gear boxes can only handle upto 400hp safely so i'm assuming a 25DET one will be needed? - Also I need help deciding on what internals to replace with aftermarket parts, am I right in saying cams would be a better investment than pistons/Conrods? -Should I replace the valves and valvesprings in the head as I read they are 400HP capable and would rather be safe than sorry. also does this make a power increase? -Are N1 Oil pumps worth it? there are very mixed feelings on these I have found, I am not going to be doing limiter raping skids or anything just after a nice sounding car with decent speed There is a place near where I live (Christchurch, New Zealand) that I have heard great things from when it comes to dyno tuning and have heard they provide there own ECU's so thats where I will be going at the end of my build. I am open to all suggestions so please feel free to post your builds and power outputs.

Hi all, I'm in the market for a second car for a little fun, and I've had my eye on a S15 for quite some time. So figured i'd put the word out there, i'm looking to buy one. (Note: I could also be keen on a 32GTR, but it'd need to be in awesome condition - Silver in colour). I'm not looking to spend "top dollar", but i'm not going to low-ball you either. If that perfect S15 does come along, I will pay extra, but in the couple years I've had my eye on them, I've only ever seen one that was "perfect" to me, and I kick myself every day for not jumping on it. Ideally the S15 will be in good overall condition, not looking for one with a lot of KMs, but exceptions could be made depending on how she's been treated, and rebuild history etc. Interior needs to be pristine or close. Exterior similar, I don't mind scratches or chips on replaceable parts like bumpers or bonnet, as i'd probably swap them out anyway. As for colours, , it will vary on a car-by-car basis, depending on the wheel setup, kit, spoiler, etc. But as a general rule I like the black, white and blue S15s, aftermarket colours that will catch my attention are lambo orange, light green or MNP (something different than my plain white evo 10 ^_^ lol). As far as mods go, I don't care - It can be stock, heavily modified, or anything in-between, the points listed above are more important to me, as i'd rather slowly build up the mods myself over time. Anyway I'm moving to Sydney in June-July from Darwin and selling my car prior to moving and will need another car to drive as a reliable daily. Spoken to Terry 34GTR on another forum and he's also helping me in my search. I have a basic criteria for the car. Must be the following: Registered Not defected Straight chassis Minimal rust Good condition (no major cosmetic or any structural defects.) Also must have <150,000km's. I plan on inspecting the car with Terry at JapLink motors on hoist so I can get a good look at what I'll be dealing with. Anyways. Cheers all!

Hi guys, I've got some stuff thats been sitting in my garage which I'm hoping to get rid of. 1. Stock 2004 Honda Accord Euro wheels. They are 16" but I'm unsure of the offset or width. I'd guesstimate around 16 x 6.5 + 45. They use the same 5x114.3 bolt pattern and same hub diameter as Nissan, so they could bolt up to a Skyline or Silvia for cheap skid wheels or if you need to pass a defect. They are in good condition, one has a small gutter rash but nothing serious. 2 dont have any tires and the other 2 have really worn out tires. I'm after $250 O.N.O. for these. 2. A whole bunch of Earls and Speedflow fittings. All work fine but some are a bit scratched from spanners. 2 x brand new Earls -10 Straight fittings. One is still in the bag, the other one is taken out but never used 1 x barely used Earls -10 Straight fitting. I think i've tested it once, but didn't fit on my setup so I never used it. Its just got a few light scratches from the spanner. 1 x used 90 degree Speedflow -10 Fitting. It's been used on my old oil cooler setup, but then I changed from a sandwich plate to one with a thermostat so this fitting no longer fitted in. 3 x pretty used Earls -10 Straight fittings. These have a fair bit of spanner markings on them. Again, they are all from my old oil cooler setups. They all work fine, just don't look that great. My camera kinda brings out every detail in the photos, but they dont look THAT bad in real life. After $50 FIRM for these. 3. Stock S15 intercooler. I've always kept it in case of defects, but I've since sold my S15 and have no need for it. It comes with all brackets and all of the intake piping up to the intake manifold. I'm after $150 O.N.O. for this. 4. Stock S15 Fuel Pump. It came out of a JDM manual turbo S15 which had about 80,000kms on the clock. It was working perfectly fine, only reason I took it out is so I can upgrade to a bigger pump. I'm after $60 O.N.O. for this. 5. Stock S15 boost gauge sensor. Just the sensor, I don't have the gauge. $10 FIRM for this. I'm located in Upper Coomera on the Gold Coast, QLD and I'm happy to ship at the buyers expense. Cheers. -

Hey all, Just posting this ad for a mate of mine. I'll just copy and paste what's written on his ad. FS: 1991 Nissan Silvia S13 5sp SR20DE K's: 177*** Colour: Dark Green with Grey interior Comments: Exterior - Stock Body Kit - O.Z. 17" Rims (Unkown Model and Offset) - Aftermarket Muffler, makes a very good deep roar but doesn't attract much attention, not too loud. Interior - Blue LED Lights in HUD - Stock Seats - Professionally installed soundsystem including Soundstream speakers all round with all gold cables, Alpine monoblock and Blopunk plus one 10" Sub in the back. Mechanically everything is fine except gear synchro for 2nd gear isn't at its best so I just granny shift into second which isn't too annoying and front shocks will need to be changed. REGO till July 2014 and no RWC but passed one in June/July of this year so it shouldn't need much plus I have the documentation of the last test. All in all a very good, reliable car which works and runs fine. It's fairly unique so you know you're driving something special on the roads. Regretfully selling my 1990 Nissan S13 Silvia as I'm moving overseas. This is the K's model with all optional extras and some light modification. This is a manual CA18DET model with 150,000km on the clock with motor still running strong. Rego until Aug 2014, but selling without RWC (won't be hard, had RWC approved 12 months ago) Factory features: ABS, LSD, Sunroof, Leather seats (I have never seen these on another S13 before), Glove compartment cooler box (another rare extra), WORKING airconditioning (omg!!), Remote central locking with alarm. Mods (off the top of my head): T28 turbo Bleed valve K&N air filter Front-mount intercooler Performance coil pack 3 inch catback exhaust Bosch 040 fuel pump with Z32 fuel filter Tein Super Street Coilovers front and rear with cambertops 17 inch Advanti Racing wheels (not sure of the specs.. 17x6 maybe?) SAAS boost and oil pressure guages (not installed) Also selling with some other bits and pieces including a second boot lid with stock spoiler and 3rd breaklight (to pass RWC) This isn't the cleanest S13 you'll ever see, but it's a damn good car throughout. It has some great features that are rare, as well as some good, tasteful mods already on to get you started. Looking for offers around 24k negotiable. 2000 JDM Import 1JZ-VVTI S15 I'm looking at swapping to an Evo X for a more 'work suitable' car. Since I've owned this car, I've funnelled a lot of money into it to make it the best possible street/daily car. It's incredibly torquey and fun & easy to drive. Conversion was done by previous owner however I've spent a lot of time under this car, and the quality of the conversion is damned good. My Mechanic has carried out 1JZ swaps before, and couldn't fault the work done. Car is modplated for the engine & gearbox conversion, road registered and fresh 6 months rego put on 4 days ago. Chassis has 123,000ks on it and is perfectly straight. Engine Engine is stock, and comes on boost immediately. Cruising on the highway in 5th gear, if you touch the loud pedal more than 10% you're on boost. Car was dyno'd by last owner at 265RWHP, but it's the torque that feels amazing. The VVTI 1JZ improved both fuel economy, and a 20% increase to low down torque. Motor & Gearbox has 111,000ks on it, and had new HKS timing belt and major service at time of conversion (previous owner) Oil and filter changed 1000km ago (Penrite 10W40 Racing Oil & Ryco Z418 Oil Filter) Koyo Radiator & twin thermos - New Radiator hose installed last week 23/05/14 R154 5 speed Gearbox, Custom lightweight tailshaft to stock R200 diff Brand new OS Giken Grand Tourer Twin plate clutch w/ hard metal front cover (custom made by OS Giken and took 3 months to get from Japan), rated to 700hp, incredibly quiet for a twin plate and super easy to daily drive, converted from Push type clutch to Pull - This is a $2300 clutch and the best you can buy. OS Giken lightweight flywheel & new high tensile flywheel bolts New Spigot Bearing and Rear Main Oil seal installed at same time.
