Time Attack Track day at the Midvale Speed Dome. Spots are allocated on a first come, first served basis and if your name is on the list, you'll need to pay A.S.A.P. We need AT LEAST 18 drivers with a maximum of 20 so everyone has as much track time as possible, and to ensure that the price of the day stays the same. Less drivers = more money per driver. It will be a FULL day, but obviously you can come and go as you please. The day will cost $175 including a BBQ lunch with hotdogs and salads. The Speed Dome is a short course, so it suits quick accelerating and good handling cars, but there's a decent straight so your fast car can stretch it's legs a bit. It will be an Autokhana/Superkhana/Time Attack style event, which essentially means driving really fast around a series of tight corners and short straights against the clock. You will need your own, or access to the following things; > Licenced & roadworthy car > Helmet > Long sleeve shirt and pants (cotton is best) > Closed in shoes Your car will be scrutineered before you are allowed to drive it on the track. Basically, make sure the following things are done; > Battery is secure > Seatbelts lock under tension > Tyres are not completely bald > Loose objects are removed from cabin > Your car is not falling apart > Your car is not leaking vital fluids Cost is $175 - payable BEFORE the day please. Price will include Hot Dogs and drinks for the drivers only. Spectators are most welcome, but will need to provide their own food and drink. You will need to bring your own; > Seats/blankets/cushions to sit on during the day. > Sunscreen, just in case > Insect repellent, just in case. > Don't forget your tools, and spares just in case! There's plenty of room to make a mistake, so rest assured that the worst that will happen is your car might get a little dirty. It's always good fun, and it's mostly at slower speeds, so drive at the pace that you're most comfortable with. Your times will improve the more you drive. There's a chance of some professional instruction on the day too. The money is NON-REFUNDABLE so if you can't make it, find someone else to take your place. Make sure your car is reliable, and will last the whole day. The price is the same whether you drive for 1 run or 12. You may drive someone else's car (with their permission of course!), but that car will need to scrutineered also if it hasn't been already. Lastly, the track is for everyone who is driving on the day. Each run takes between 40 seconds and 1 minute 30 seconds depending on the track's layout. Don't dawdle, remember who you're after in the running order so that you're ready to go when it's your turn to race. If you're deemed to be unsafe on the track, you get 1 warning only. After that, no more driving for you. You will need to let me know A.S.A.P. if you intend on driving, so that I can advise and pay the venue, and sort out the running order for the day. Feel free to contact me with any questions that are not answered above ^^ Thanks

Ok guys, time for our first Track Day for 2013! Since our previous two Track Days have been such a hit with the inclusion of passengers, we've decided to run the same format. As before, there's no cage needed, just a helmet each, long sleeves and pants with enclosed shoes, a Special Day License (if you purchased one at the last event, bring it along; it may still be valid), a waiver form and an extra bit of money to cover insurances and you can be blasting around Mallala with your mate in the passenger seat! What could be better than that!?!?!? As always, this will be a Grip only event so please no sliding; we have a great name as a club at Mallala and don't want to jeapordise it. There are 22 spots up for grabs and will remain exclusive to SAU-SA members for the first two weeks. If your Membership has Lapsed you will also need to renew, which is $30 to do so. After that, if spots aren't filled we will open up to general forum members. General users will have to Sign Up to SAU:SA and become Club Members at the Normal cost of $30 Membership and $15 Admin Fee. You've got just over two months to prepare so no excuses that your cars aren't ready, book the time off and get into it! Tell your mates, bring your parents! The total cost for the Day will be $250 (up from the usual $200 to cover the extra insurance needed for a Day like this) PLUS an extra $50 for a special AASA license to allow passengers. Once again, if you purchased one at the last event, bring it along; it may still be valid. If you have a CAMS license, you won't need to pay the extra $50. Applications are available on the Day, so there's no worries there, just make sure you have the green stuff in hand. Deposits will be needed as we need to secure the Track, this will be $150 and will need to be payable by April 15th (non refundable), as usual any problems with money, get in touch with us, we aren't monsters and understand things come up so we can work around it. The remainder is due on the 1st May so you've got plenty of time to get the cash together. Also to note lap timers can be hired from SAU:SA for the Day and at a very low cost of $50 per person. These are a great tool to help you learn what works and what doesn't on Track and just how things influence your times. They're also good for bragging to friends Please note if you want to hire one and we will mark you down on the list. They've been quite popular in the past as those who have used them can attest to; payment for these is also due on the 15th April. As usual, we like to reward our members and give something back so a free BBQ will also be available on the Day however drinks will be $1 per can. ** If you are intending to bring friends and or family, can you please make note of how many you intend to bring as a rough indication of just how much food for us to bring. ** SAUSA Payment details Name: Skylines Australia - SA Chapter BSB: 105 192 ACC: 028 822 340 Date: 15th May 2013 Attending ------------- 1) Ryan - ISC Performance - Paid in full 2) Shane Murphy (DriftingSA) - Paid in full 3) Steven - RBJETT - Paid in full 4) Brad - Tommy Kaira RL - Paid in full 5) DC_GTST - Paid in full (+ Timer) 6) DC_GTST +1 - Deposit Received (+ Timer) 7) John Munro - Paid in full 8) Japcoop - Paid in full 9) Krishy - Paid in full 10) illmatic - Paid in full (+ Timer) 11) Aberax - Paid in full 12) skylineking - Paid in full (+ Timer) 13) Snake-Eyes-Racing-1 - Paid in full (+ Timer) 14) Fliggy - Paid in full 15) Phil (33 GTR) 16) Phil's mate (33 GTSt) 17) Phils other mate (32 GTR) 18) 19) 20) 21) 22) Reserves 1) Nick - R33 Sleeper 2) TheProDaniel 3) 4)

First post and new to the forum game. I'm new to skylines and turbo cars and all this stuff so getting a fair bit of help and guideance from a mate. My plan is to build a race car and do some track work and really wanna have a go at Tarmac rally here in WA. So anyways went out and bought my self an rb26 to start with and have since done a bottom end rebuild and got my mates old man to cut the diff off the sump and got a hold of a tomei baffle and organizing an oil return at the moment. Also bought lots of other cool shit here and there for the motor. I got a garret t04z all ready to go for it as well. So now I've gone out and bought an r33 4 door and starting stripping the engine bay and trying my hand at a bit of stitch welding to strengthen that bad boy up and getting ready to lay some paint hopefully next week at some stage. Got a couple of other bits with the car like tein coilovers and an orc twin plate clutch. Got a few pictures here and there but not sure how much stuff people are gonna wanna see till it all starts to come together. I'll search through and maybe take some current progress snaps and post them up to show whats happening with it.

Hi All, I'm looking to sell my '93 R33. I've had the car for over 10 years and it's been my daily drive. It's done 210,000kms and has been a very reliable car during this time and a lot of fun too! I've modified a bunch of things, such as the turbo, ECU, exhaust, etc... and it has about 330hp (250kW) at the rear wheels on 17psi of boost (tuned & tested by Sam at Dr. Drift in Tottenham - he is a master!). Below are some pics and a list of most of the modifications: - Apexi Power FC with hand commander - HKS GT2535 ball bearing turbo - 3 inch turbo back exhaust - Larger intercooler - 550cc injectors - Splitfire coil packs - Blitz Electronic Boost controller - Apexi Rev Speed Meter - Auto Meter Boost gauge - HSD Coilovers - 18 inch Drift R ROH rims (deep dish rear rims) - DBA 4000 T3 slotted front brake discs with Bendix Ultimate brake pads (discs and pads both recently fitted) - Set of stock rims and subwoofer box with amplifier (not currently connected) - Front steering arms and rear HICAS lock bar …and other bits and pieces that I can barely remember. It's a beautiful looking car and I always keep it in the garage. There are some minor blemishes on the bodywork, but they are not very noticeable. Mechanically the car is in very good running order. I've never been harassed by police for driving this car because it looks clean and stock standard. The car has VIC rego till the 20th of September 2014. I'm asking $7,500ono. The price is negotiable and I will consider any serious offer to buy (not interested in swapping). You're welcome to bring your mechanic along for an inspection. Feel free to contact me (Nick) via email or my mobile with any questions or to make an offer. G'day, I am trying to find the best set-up for my R32 GT-R to do some light track work (Club track days etc). The car is used rarely on the street, but still does get driven once a week/fortnight or so. I have been surfing around the various threads on brakes, tyres, and wheel sizes, and have gained some good information with regards to what fits, and what works, but I am curious to see what people have found works well for them as a combination of them all. I currently have standard brakes, standard GT-R wheels and road tyres. Ultimately, I would love to put some track tyres, the likes of Federal RSR or similar on the car. I love the look of the standard GT-R rims, so would love to put the RSR's on them. However, I don't want to do that, only to find that I really should upgrade to bigger brakes/rotors, which ultimately means bigger wheels, new tyres etc etc. I have a good grip on the suspension side of things, with some nice coilovers and all new bits and pieces there, so I'm going to focus on the tyres and brakes for the moment. So, what do you run on your R32 GT-R for recreational work. Brake Setup - Rotors/Pads/Calipers? Wheel Brand / Size? Tyre Brand / Size? Thanks in advance.

1993 Nissan Skyline GTS with built BR20DET Turbo (balanced, blue printed, oil control, forged pistons, head studs, race bearings etc...) prepared for dedicated Drift and Track work. Power FC, Nismo 2-Way LSD with big shafts, Big brakes, full suspension package, race seat and harness, spare wheels, fire extinguisher, CAMS compliant with all markings. Scrutineers no worries. Lightweight chassis. Ready to go nothing to spend. With the big front brakes and 205RWkW professionally tuned, predictable handling and 2Way LSD, it is a lot of fun and slides very well! With a different wheel alignment would be an excellent (grip) track car. The car has done less than one season. Engine about 15 hours old. NO DENTS OR RUST. NEVER needed to limiter bash either. I am a qualified mechanic and am confident it will be reliable to the new owner and can do a compression test / jack it up and look under, whatever test and let you drive it no worries. Hey guys, Finally got my full license so decided to purchase a turbo vehicle, always had a soft spot for 33's, may not be the crowd favourite or a boat at times but with some effort put in they can look Blake Lively or Sally Fitzgibbons. Just some previous car history: Owned my first love, an s13, best s-chassis imo with its lines and simplicity. N/A SR, pushed around 95-100kw with everything done do it so it was a ball to drive through the hills of adelaide and on the track, though inexperience + lack of power I did struggle to connect turns. Now to move on to the 33: Going to build this car with the mind set that I want to be able to run it on the track and still drive it to and from the track and also daily drives. When i bought it, mechanically is was real clean and tidy, the previous owner mainly took it to the shop to get parts installed, so at least I have the piece of mind everything is done right. The body though is something else, bit rough is few areas, but with some TLC and polishing it should come up good. Currently runs 196kw @ 14psi, which is more than enough power for the time being as im still learning how to drift, so I will be focusing more on the handling side of things. (^how it currently sits, after a light clean up) Firstly before i rego it, I'm just going to give it a clean up; Remove some stickers Clean up the headlights Polish and Wax Nardi Steering wheels with boss kit. Blast pipes Shifter cover/shroud thingy? ( the leather cover that goes over the shifter) CST Hyper Zeros 18x9.5 +23 Once registered I will start executing the build! first up I will put in a different set of coilovers ( thinking about BC racing coilovers, but have also heard good things about slideworks coilovers) upgrade the camber arms, toe arms, sway bars & steering lock. In the mean time i will be adding small things interior and exterior wise such as roof spoiler, boot lip, possibly different front bar(will try find a pic of what im after), rear pods, LED tail lights, weather guards and others misc items. Wont try to do anything else Engine and suspension wise after that, due to the fact I Haven't done a track day in it yet so unsure on what needs upgrading or what can stay the same. Hope you stay tuned!
