Hey guys I rear ended another car today and was just wondering if its worth claiming insurance as the excess is at $1800 and wanting your comments on whether or not my damages are significant and how much it would cost forrepairs. The other car is fine just scratches so it shouldn't cost too much. I've uploaded a few photos below My poor 34 ='( Thanks guys!

Hey guys, Just wondering if you guys have any recommendations on smash repairers in Western Australia? Even though it is covered by insurance I'm hoping for a place that does a good/decent job but not too expensive as if its too high in costs I'm afraid my car might get written off =( I have heard about Meltham Motors Car Craft and checked out Wagner's which doesn't look too bad. Any other recommendation would be good thanks!

On September 24 a driver in a silver or grey FD Honda Civic (or some other Honda sedan) decided it'd be a good idea to speed through a red light. I couldn't stop in time and we collided . The guy in the Civic then left the scene Thought I'd share the damage while I sit here waiting for the bad news that my baby is written off. Out of interest, what do you guys think? Definitely a write off? Also, just in case, if anyone has seen a smashed up civic in the Cabramatta area in the last week - any info would be appreciated.

On my way home from work this afternoon. Stopped at an unbroken white line, waiting for a gap to turn left. A second or two later I'm rocked by a solid hit from behind courtesy of an inattentive driver in a late model 5 door Nissan Patrol. Rounded the corner & pulled into a driveway to exchange details and this is the damage done. C-pillar and roof-line don't have any discernible creases or dents, and as far as I can tell the floor-pan is fine. Boot-lid closes and latches, but with a decent gap on the drivers side and a crease on the underside where the boot surround has peaked above the tail-light. Tail, brake & indicator lights all functioning, still roadworthy. I've put a lot of time and effort into this car and am considerably upset by this, what do you guys think? Repairable or write-off? The Chameleon paint was laid on the June long-weekend, hadn't even finished cutting & buffing it.

Hi guys, long time lurker, finally decided to make an account coz I need a bit of help. I was involved in an accident yesterday around the corner from my home. I stopped mid way across the oncoming lane in a right turn T - intersection to let a hesitant elderly pedestrian through and another driver somehow didn't see me from 200m away to brake in time and slammed into my front left. Damage looks pretty bad but I'm hoping it can be repaired. I've only got third party insurance and at this point of time, the police reckon its my fault even though I explained its a 50km/h zone and I had to stop to wave the hesitant pedestrian through. I'm after someone reliable and honest to work on my car to fix it up. Hopefully someone who won't overcharge on parts and labour since money is tight. I live in the northern suburbs so something close would be good however honesty on pricing is main thing. Can SAU please recommend someone? I've attached picture of the damage in case someone on here can give me a rough estimate on pricing, etc.
