Thought I would post up my thoughts from my last track day on Wednesday @ the QR sprints Previously every track day I have been to in my V35 I have always left the car in D mode with the PWR button pressed as the triptronic mode was far too laggy to be of any use I recently had the transgo shift kit installed and was interested to see what sort of a difference it would make I found that there were some pros and cons when it comes to trying to get your quickest time with the shift kit fitted compared to stock The kit was good in the fact that I could drive the car like a manual in triprtonic mode and actually benefit from some sort of engine braking + the shifts happened for the most part in triptronic mode when I wanted them to unlike how the auto box behaves when its stock I also managed to shave .16 off my best lap time however the improvement is somewhat on the small side that it could be attributed to a number of factors other than the shift kit The negative, although I considered it more fun than negative was that the harder/faster shifts turned the car into a powerslide machine if I wasn't careful or more so if I wanted it to when shifting from 2nd to 3rd. This was with 245 Toyo R888 semi slicks on the back not so good for lap times however I'm half keen to take the car to a Friday night drift session with some stocko 17's on the back given how easy it was to slide with the semi slicks on Don't forget I am running an LSD unlike 99.999% of the other auto V35s out there

G'day, I have an auto R33 GTST Series 2 which got broken into a while back and they completely buggered the igniton barrel and sleeve. I want to replace it but can only seem to find the manual barrels and sleeves available. I heard there was an extra cable on the auto barrel that effects how it is put back together/fits. Is this the case or would a manual one suffice? Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Dan

Hi all, up for sale is , sy '98 R34 coupe. N/A, black. I'm heading over to america at the beginning of July and would like some cash to blow in Vegas, and have a nice turbo waiting for me when I'm back, so the N/A has to go!! Specs: 1998 Nissan Skyline R34 25GT Black, 135,000km's, auto gearbox with tiptronic + steering wheel shift. Engine is stock minus 6 yellowjacket coils which fixed up a mis-fire problem I was having a while ago. Body is stock with wing. Interior is stock, except for LED map and dome lights and a clarion headunit WITH ipod connectivity and control, microphone near driver window for bluetooth hands free, mp3 connectivity, CD and radio. Butzi Racing ZR-01 flat silver+black rims. Mechanically perfect. Was in a 10km/h fender bender a few months ago in which the front bumper and reo bar copped a knock. I've sourced a new reo bar however the front end still sits a bit funny. Bought a new set of headlights as the tiny plasti mounting tabs were damaged in the accident however these are not fitted as of yet. Will come with sale. I need to sell before I leave on the 9 July, so in a few weeks it will go on ebay / carsales if there is no interest here. Hi guys a recently purchased R33 Gtst automatic is driving normally some days then it'll just completely lose responsiveness but once stopped the key will start the car as if nothing had just happened. if anyone has experience with this issue that would be extremely helpful. The mechanic we brought it to said they "fixed it" but no it definitely was not fixed. Please if anyone has experience anything would help, Thank you!

Greetings from Canuckland, I am new to SAU and I have an R34 Sedan - RB25DE NEO (tiptronic/auto). It has about 144K+ kms and has a rebuild auto tranny with new solenoid a/b parts, new timing belt, tensioner, water pump, and cam seals. I miss the car meets and cruises due to covid19 and health restrictions for large groups. stay safe! stay home! wash your hands.

FOR SALE 8/2002 Nissan Stagea Axis Autech Model. VIN: NM35311708 Engine: VQ25DET Color: White Trasmission: 5 speed Auto w/ tiptronic. Rego: Until April 2014 109xxx kms. Overview: Hey guys, I’ve not had this car for a year, and whilst it has been the most comfortable, and reliable car I've ever owned, my situation has changed with my fiancé purchasing a brand new car, and only now requiring one car for a daily commute. Paying 2 sets of insurance/fuel/maintenance is just not viable at this stage. I purchased this car from Ben at Northshore Prestige early this year around the 15/4/13. It had circa 104000kms when purchased, and I have put a further 4,000kms on it since owning. It is immaculate. The paint has no chips whatsoever. There is NO rust. Mechanically, it is A1. There is no creaks, rattles, sounds etc. Automatic gearbox feels strong. Being the Axis model, it also comes factory with a flared Autech styled bodykit, different grill, and from what I’ve been told, different suspension compared to non axis models. It comes with the beige leather interior (Not the crappy brown color) with heated seats, full electrics. The only issue that I have with it is that the CD Player has crapped itself. Radio/Tape player (lol)still works, and you can put CDs into the 6 stacker, but it will simply not play. Modifications: - 18" genuine Nissan ARX wheels. - EZlip front rubber lip. - 20% window tint on front 2 windows to match rear privacy glass. - 350Z Non Brembo slotted and dimpled rotors on the front. I’ve simply used it as a film car for my business, and a daily commuter to and from the Bank. It doesn't get thrashed whatsoever, and is serviced meticulously. Washed every 2 weeks, and a full detail done every 8-12 weeks. As far as I’m aware, at this stage, it is one of only 2 for sale in NSW. I have full approval papers from Department of Infrastructure and Transport, as well as Japanese Export Certificate in PDF format, provided by the dealer, if you would like to peruse it. Hi Guys, Well after having the transgo for about three weeks now I have to say im not impressed. In manual mode the 2>3 shift is very clunky and if i floor the car in drive regardless of what speed im going the down shift is very aggressive: like someone rear-ended you. I have noticed several issues with my car: 1) On several occasions in D at WOT the transmission would upshift way before redline (at ~5k rpm) and the change was not crisp or fast at all...I would say even worse than the stock transmission. 2) Another example is if im doing approx 60-70km/h and i floor it in D the transmission will downshift, then upshift, then downshift again. 3) Sometimes if im in D and i floor it, it takes 2 - 3 seconds for the car to react. During the few seconds before it downshifts it just accelerates in the gear that it is currently in (5th if im just cruising). 4) In D if i floor it the transmission will SLAM into gear with a loud bang...is this normal? I have reset the ECU by leaving the battery disconnected for about 10min. This didnt change anything. Has anyone had the same or similar issues with their transgo? I had it installed by a well know auto transmission shop in Perth but im now wondering if it was not installed correctly.

Item: R33 GTS-T 4 door auto turb Item Condition: Used, average paint for it's age but runs well Extra Info: Heyas, I have for sale my R33 skyline, it is a four door, it is turbo, it is auto and it runs. Is a very cruisy car to drive and stil has a fair amount of poke. The bonus is you can have a rad skyline and still carry more than one passenger that has legs! But seriously I did an oil change on it about 100km ago (probs about 3-4 months ago) and I just don't need it any more as I have another car to for my work. I bought this car to drive as a daily and had the trans replaced and some of the seals replaced at the same time. Had oil done a not many km's ago but 3-4 months. APPARENTLY had the timing belt done by previous owner but I can't garuntee that. Has an electric sunroof. Tinted windows (legal darkness) Mag wheels Electric windows Has awesome skyline floor mats (JDM!) (they are standard and have cool badges n stuff) All in all a great car to drive BUT....Bad parts It has the standard jap headunit in it so no radio but I have been borrowing one of those fm tuner things and it works fine, or you can listen to AM radio! You can have a free headunit that I have sitting here. The left rear electric window doesn't work. The right rear handbrake asembly has something wrong with it, makes a clunky noise over bumps but is apparently easy to fix (I have no idea and it didn't bother me) The paint is a little bit average in some spots. In summary: Nice car, it is no show car but if you want a skyline on a budget and you are a fixit type it's a score! Or why not finish it off and make a bit of money? Fairly firm on the price, but if you sweet talk me I may give in. I have this really annoying problem with my auto R32 Gts-t. It only happens when switching from light throttle to no throttle at low speeds. For example, driving in traffic or in a shopping center car park (just tapping the accelerator). As soon as I release throttle, it starts hunting and hesitating, gets all jerky, then snaps back into normal idling. It only happens at light throttle, any ideas? I've check the TPS. I'm getting proper voltage readings, approx. 0.5v closed and 4.0v WOT, and switches between throttle open and closed properly... Is it possible the TPS is at fault even if it's giving proper readings? What else could cause this issue? Thanks heaps.
