So after having my Blitz duel EBC sitting in the box for 3 years I finally got off my arse and installed it today. One thing has got me a little concerned thought. I noticed when installing it that it has only 2 wires - power and ground. I'm used to installing things with a fuse and also an ACC wire too. Sure enough, I reconnect the battery and "bing" boost controller is on. Now Im sure Blitz aren't stupid and they have been making these things for years, but what kind of draw will this thing have on the battery? Is it perfectly ok that its always on like this? Who else has one and noticed this? thanks

Turbo Lines Help I have just finished re-turboing my r33 gtst but i am unsure where all of the vacuum lines need to connect. The first photo shows the t-piece with A going to the blow-off return pipe on the intake of the turbo. B goes to the waste gate actuator and C to the boost controller (with the other controller connection going to the intake). IS this correct? and does it matter which side plugs into the connectors of the boost controller (currently the t piece goes to the bottom of the controller) Also this may or may not be related but there is another random hose left unplugged on the drivers side near the boost gauge (but isn't the boost gauge line) that disappears down into the body work. its also not the rear windscreen washer either. I bought this car off an older guy a couple years back and was given the turbo pieces in a box with them assembled roughly as seen in the photos but i have learnt to not trust him after seeing his electrical work (exposed, permanently live wires simply twisted together and run across the airbag sensor) so i have little faith that it is correct. Cheers in advance, Joe

Just dropped a newly built engine into my 89 GTR, and installed a new Innovate SCG-1 Boost controller wide band O2 at the same time. Put in Nistune ECU and went to start the tuning process. I've got it running, but pretty rich WOT and wanted to take the boost up to 1.2-1.4 bar and clean up the fuel trims thinking higher boost may even up the richness on WOT. The car will not push more than .8 bar regardless of gain, or duty cycle settings on the boost controller. I have tried everything, even tapped a line just after the turbines combine before the air enters the intercooler. Nothing over .8. I pulled of a line of the solonoid and it will boost like crazy, had to quickly let off throttle as it went up to 1.45bar on the pull, which tells me the actuators are working...Any ideas? What am I doing wrong? Actuators are T'd into each other and I was pulling the other source from the plenum right under the #6 throttle, also tried running a source from the "twin Turbo" collector? HKS 2530's with oversized outlets, 264 poncams, NAPREC Port and polished head w/ 1mm over chamber, adjustable HKS cam gears, 1mm hks head gasket, N1 rods, n1 oil pump, n1 water pump, 680cc HKS injectors, 65mm downpipe, forged pistons.....should be putting out some decent power.

Hi Everyone, I am currently looking at purchasing an EBC, but am unsure on which one is better. The two I have been looking at are the GFB GeForce II and the Turbosmart Eboost2. Both are relatively cheap, which is what I am after. But just wonder if anyone has one of these and has any advice/tips about either. From my own research they seem to do the exact same thing, but the GFB one is fair bit cheaper, and I like how it will display the peak boost after for a short time Also may be a stupid question, but i have a normal boost gauge on my A pillar at the moment, would the eboost be a simple swap in for it or would there be more wires/pipes needed? or will it even fit in the pillar? Sorry for the noobish question, only still pretty new to forced induction. Thanks in advance

WTB: Blitz Dual Solenoid Boost Controller Looking for a Spec R, ID or anything from blitz with the dual solenoid. Thanks

Greddy Profec OLED or Blitz Spec R Dual Solenoid Hi Gents, Looking at buying one of these two controllers. I know that the OLED is newer than the blitz spec r, however there are lots of great reviews on the blitz and its solenoid. I cant find a lot on the OLED yet. I guess the questions I have is does anyone have experience with both and any thoughts on each or even dyno graphs? What controls boost better and helps spool faster the blitz twin solenoid or the Profec OLED 3 port? Any help or thoughts, much appreciated
