My R32 GTST From Canada
CanadianGuy posted a topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
Hey everyone! Finally after years of owning all kinds of other jdm cars (ae86, s13 with a RB swap, FC RX7, Datsun 510, 280zx etc) I’ve got my hands on a skyline! Ended up trading a Harley Road Glide for it after being in that scene for a few years. The previous owner started a lot of work but then had a bad motorcycle accident and the car sat for almost a year until I picked it up The car wasn’t running and had a massive fuel leak from a pinched injector o ring but had good compression so went about trying to get it firing up so I could drive it into the garage Turned out the fuel rail which was set up to run with an aftermarket aeromotive regulator had plugged up injectors, fired in a 2nd set that came with the car and drove it into the garage. Once getting it tucked into its spot (have a nice 46’x26’ garage) went about tackling some of runability issues. The main ones now are between my driveway and the garage the tach decided to stop working, and there seems to be a 2500ish rpm limiter being set on the car. The limiter I imagine has something to due with the butchery that is my afm wiring Seems someone decided to run new shielded wires from pin 2&4 to the ECU and hack together the remaining into the original harness for some reason. Going to clean that up and see if any of the afm’s that came with the car make it run a little happier. Speakimg of ECU this was a cool surprise Looks like Mines might have had something to do with the ECU at some point in its life. Still lots of little odds and ends to work out but couldn’t be happier! -
Here is a short preview to a drifting video shot on an abandon track in Alberta Canada. Full film should be out in the next few weeks. Enjoy!

Exedy Twin Disc Install/Help I just recently purchased an Exedy Twin Disc clutch for my GTR R33 (RB26), and I'm currently in the process of installing it. However, after pulling the tranny, ran into a bit of a problem. The transmission and engine won't mate back together because the fork(pull type) and the output shaft sleeve on the transmission won't let it slip all the way back together( there is about 3/4 inch gap between trans and engine). I was told something about machining the sleeve down a bit, however my local car shop that deals quite a bit with JDM cars, they said it should just bolt right up. At this point I would love some help from the experts here, any ideas on what to do, or has anyone else run into a similar problem? If any more information about the car or clutch is required, just say so, first post here! Car is a 1996 Nissan Skyline GT-R R33 VSpec, clutch is an Exedy Carbon Twin Disc with a lightweight flywheel. Thanks for reading!

Greetings from Canuckland, I am new to SAU and I have an R34 Sedan - RB25DE NEO (tiptronic/auto). It has about 144K+ kms and has a rebuild auto tranny with new solenoid a/b parts, new timing belt, tensioner, water pump, and cam seals. I miss the car meets and cruises due to covid19 and health restrictions for large groups. stay safe! stay home! wash your hands.

Hey Everyone, Here is my 1993 Nissan Skyline GTS25T with a full authentic Veilside bodykit! To my knowledge the car was imported into Canada with the bodykit already installed which is why I have decided to keep it on for now as a tribute in sorts to the cars history. Not many people are a fan of the kit but I personally love it and all of its uniqueness. I have found many answers to my trouble shooting problems on SAU so figured I'll sign up! Feel free to ask anything and everything about the build! Cheers!
