Hey all, Just trying to get a prospective car FASTed, and this came up but the person who ran the FAST for me doesn't know what this translated to/it isn't in English anyway. Unfortunately i only have a screenshot and not actual text or else i could just run a web translation. So could anyone have a go at telling me what the two Japanese options are? First one is obviously something to do with UV protection etc. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=412019 thanks for any help!

This is my first post in any thread help site, please inform me of any mistakes/procedures. I got a 2001 GH-NM35 Stagea with a VQ25DET engine, very cheap and driveable because of a blown noisy turbo and check engine light causing limpmode it seems. A few days after buying the car and getting a stock replacement Garrett turbo, and having it installed at my local shop, I was told the car had codes "P1110 & P1135 Intake valve timing control banks 1 & 2" The car mostly drives in higher gears, doesn't agree to rev over 2-3k rpm, I noticed some misfiring and slightly rough idling; and on another note I'm unsure if the loud jet-like spooling sound is normal. This is the first car I own that is forced induction, and isn't a 90's sports car, I'm 20 yrs old and the same mechanic shop said I'd need to do my engine timing to clear the codes and fix the car's limp-mode. With a oem kit+labour this would be well over $2000 AUD. I would normally and confirming do any repairs to my cars as I'm used to simpler builds. Before I proceed with it I'd like some advice in doing some troubleshooting on my own as well as anyone's repairs/knowledge regarding these codes and symptoms.

M35 Airbag Woes Hi all, Been a while since I've posted on SAU. Recently picked up a beautiful example of an M35, and it has been flawless aside from this one minor issue. It's intermittently throwing an airbag code and flashing the light on the dash. It first happened the day I bought it home and the wife jumped in the car with me. We had been to a couple of places that morning already, and it wasn't until we were halfway between one place and another that the light came on. I took the car to work and plugged it in to read and clear the code. All was then fine until Friday just gone, where I had 2 passengers in the car, and I had been out and about with them for a couple of hours. It was only on the way home with the same people sitting in the same seats that the light started flashing again. Back to work today, and I plugged it in to read the code this time. Once again, it's the same code.. Both times the code is appearing under DTC history, so it's only active when there's someone sitting there. I'm assuming it's something to do with the passenger seat at the front. Ideally, I'd like to properly fix this, but failing that, I'm willing to do the resistor trick to sort it out. Can anyone point me in the right direction of the wiring/plug/sensor that is causing this? Cheers, Ben

Hi, my 4wd in my stagea doesn't want to work with or without the 50/50 button pressed, sometimes there is both the 4wd and abs lamp on but I don't know how to check the codes, where does the ecu even sit? But the 4wd doesn't work even when the light isn't on when I spin the front wheel the axel to the gearbox does rotate, the oil for the attesa is there. I don't really know how to check if the pump is working or not. Help would me appreciated thanks

I've got a 98' Series 2 Stagea and the 4wd doesn't work (See more here: http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/463038-help-with-fault-finding-attesa-system-attesa-ecu-c34/#entry7685341) Just wondering how do i retrieve error codes relating to the 4wd system? I've got to the ABS/ESP computer (Also 4wd?) and a few forum posts reference a red flashing light through a hole or someone said it is on the PCB itself. I've pulled the cover off the computer and could not see a light anywhere (See photos attached). Is there another way to get the codes?
