So I have a 1998 Nissan with a 14 pin consult port. I have a problem with my ABS system and wanted to do a diagnosis to find out what the issue is but I cant find a software that supports it. I know NDSII supports ABS but this is the the 16 pin rather than the 14 pin that I require. If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be super duper helpful TIA

Hi all, Plugged my ecutalk device into the consult port on the C34 today to try to diagnose a 4WD light, and although the display lit up, the only message I got was "unable to connect, going to main menu". Does anybody know what this issue is caused by, or how to get in touch with Peter? cheers DaveB

hey all. im having trouble diagnosing a problem after my recent rebuilt. everything seems to be fine, everything mechanical anyway but i only get an initial combustion. was hoping someone local might have a consult interface i could borrow. the closest one to buy was in perth and i was hoping to sort this out soon. a box of beer is in it. im near brisbane. any help would be great. thanks. Hi Guys, Due to a complete incident and write-off, I have available an R34 USB consult cable for grabs. I used this to see error codes, and to see an overall view of the car's health (using ECUTalk). I even used it to reset error codes (e.g. engine light using Nissan Data Scan) after replacing an O2 sensor. This cable has served my R34 GT-t very well over it's lifetime. Thanks to the idiot who rear-ended me, I'd like to pass this cable on to help other Nissan's out there. I'm asking for $55, including postage from Sunshine West. Thanks, Michael -
GTR Steering Heavy With Consult Connected I have been having some problems with the power steering in my R32 GTR when a Consult device is connected since I imported it a year ago and I am finally trying to get it sorted out. I have searched the forum and found a few related topics, but so far nothing has been able to fix the issue so I figured I would start my own thread with the hope that someone can help. Unhooking the HICAS ECU and/or cutting the green wire on the smaller plug were both recommended fixes from other threads that did not help in my case. The issue is whenever I connect a device to the consult port the steering gets really heavy. I have tried various things with the HICAS ECU (since that was the typical culprit according to other threads) with no luck. Removing the HICAS ECU completely actually makes things worse, despite the fact that I have already removed the rest of the HICAS components (installed an eliminator kit a few months back). I did a number of drive tests last night to try to narrow down the exact circumstances and have it listed out below. Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. With NO Consult Device: HICAS ECU Stock - Steering Normal HICAS ECU Small Plug Removed - Steering Normal HICAS ECU Both Plugs Removed - Steering Immediately Heavy HICAS ECU Green Wire Cut - Steering Normal With Consult Device Connected: HICAS ECU Stock - Steering Heavy After 5-10 Minutes of Driving HICAS ECU Small Plug Removed - Steering Heavy After 5-10 Minutes of Driving HICAS ECU Both Plugs Removed - Steering Immediately Heavy HICAS ECU Green Wire Cut - Steering Heavy After 5-10 Minutes of Driving Edit: Additional information that might be helpful. The steering wheel appears to be stock, but when I have the consult device connected and check Data Scan it shows the HICAS sensor is way out of place. Although if that was the issue I would think I would always have a problem, instead of only having a problem when a consult device is connected. -
Consult 3+ required Hello my friends, i am am in desperate need for a consult 3+ to do some quick work on my car. Nissan don't want to help me because they can't figure out what I want. Willing to pay to anyone that can help me out. Cheers.

Consult 3 required in Sydney Hello everybody, I am located in Sydney and in desperate need of a Nissan consult 3 to finish configuring my newly installed head unit.
