  1. Hi, Seeing this is my first post, I better say it's great to be here. Sorry my first post is regarding a problem. I've recently been taking my interior more or less apart. Doing this, I found a KMH to MPH converter connected behind my cluster. This is what it looks like disconnected. Clearly it is AFM. Probably installed by the guy who had the car before me. I took it out due to two reasons. 1. I would like it in km/h if possible. 2. I didn't like the quality of the install. The green and red wire goes directly onto the cluster - Two screws securing it. They are located around the back of the speedometer. The blue wire goes from the black PIN-connector (Upper row, 2nd from middle). Original wire is grey with 2 red lines. Yellow wire goes from the bundle of cables which is behind the cluster. Also grey with 2 red lines. The converter says as follows: Red: 12v Green: Earth Yellow: KMH signal input Blue: MPH signal output I am not a 100% sure the yellow wire goes from the bundle and the blue from the PIN. Perhaps it's the other way around. If necessary, I will naturally make sure as soon as I am at the car (it's parked in a garage for the winther). I've had a voltmeter onto where the yellow cable was connected - With the engine running it occasionally gave a small reading. Note: It was only in idle. Is it possible to just connect the 4 wires (2 from the car, 2 from the speedo-cluster) to get a KMH signal, or should I just reinstall the converter? Furthermore, how should the 4 wires be connected to one another? Car spec: Skyline R33 GTST S2 Haven't been able to find any answer. I hope I'm not asking a stupid question. Any help is much appreciated.
  2. Esteemed colleagues. I have an EOS600 which is going great. I have dl'd the photos to my laptop, some of the earlier ones have come out as a jpg. but the rest (600) are all CR2 and massive in their size, 25-30mb. AVS do a converter but I'm tighter than Warnie's new face an was wondering if there is a freebie out there. Also, any ideas as to why these pics are coming down as CR2? I haven't changed the way I do anything as far as I know. Cheers! Ken.
  3. Hey. . I have a from what looks like a 3 inch custom stainless exhaust system from the dumps down. But it looks like I have the original catalytic converter. It does look it it has been tampered with and a straight pipe has been welded through it. Is that what it looks like to you guy's? It does seem odd that someone would fork out a reasonable amount of money but skimp on a nice cat? This system has been put on by the previous owner.
  4. WTB: Push Pull Converter Need a push pull converter, ie. OS Giken converter. In Sydney, cool with postage.

  6. For sale is an OS Giken push pull clutch converter kit. This allows you to run a push type clutch (far cheaper and more readily available) on a pull type gearbox (late 32 GTR, 33 GTR, 34 GT-T and GTR) It was on my gearbox when i bought it and i wanted to keep with my theme on complete NEO running gear so i decided to run with a pull type setup instead. I never saw this operate but the guy i bought the gearbox from said it worked perfectly. You can see that the throwout bearing has mot certainly been used so i have no reason to doubt him. I really dont know a whole heap about them but there is some info here. http://www.nengun.com/os-giken/pull-to-push-conversion-kit http://www.rhdjapan.com/os-giken-push-pull-movement-conversion-kit.html If you have any questions just ask although i don't think i will be able to answer them. What you see is what you get, it does come with attaching hardware though just not in the picture. Contact Josh on 0437 one 33701
