  1. Hi Guys, i run H.R (High Rolla SYD), i'm organising an End Of Year Invite Only Cruise through the famous Royal National Park, we'll be ending at Wollongong Harbour over the other side of the point to the Lighhouse. I am extending this invitation to SAU Forum members to attend, it'd be great to have you come along! Here are the finer details: DATE: Saturday Night, 15th December MEET WHERE: Holsworthy Train Station Carpark (use the Carpark Closest to the Roundabout) MEET TIME: from 7:15PM WE LEAVE @ 7:45PM (7:50PM the Latest) HOW TO FIND THE MEET: Turn Right at the Roundabout off Heathcote Rd. past Moorebank Sports Club- onto Marcarthur Drive... Train Station Carpark is Located on The Boulevard- take a right @ the 1st roundabout on Macarthur Drive! Cruise Route on Google Maps: http://goo.gl/maps/bMHxJ Although our Group is a mix of performance/modified vehicles from different manufatures (JDM to Prestige), our rules are simple: its a Cruise, NOT a Race. Although its a Saturday Night, that's no excuse to Cut Sick through the National Park... Use your common sense; so No BS, No Hooning, No cutting sick & No acting up!! Our aim is to promote the car scene in a positive way, so lets give it a good name by following those rules, as we (Car Enthusiasts) have had too much negative attention from the media lately as it is. Cheers REMINDER: - Fill up a full tank as we won't be stoppping! Photo of RNP, courtesy of Form & Function:
  2. Here's the link to the SAU Charity Cruise. $10 to come along - also gets you a sticker Vehicles must comply with 2 of 3 of the following: 1. Nissan 2. Skyline 3. RB powered http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/410593-annual-charity-cruise-4th-november/ Would be good to have a strong V35/36 presence there and show the RBs what a really Renault Nissan can do! Just post up if you're in.
  3. Hey everyone....Just wondering if anyone has a good cruise route. Just after something a bit different than the usual...eg: GOR, black spur etc. Would be much appreciated...Cheers

  6. We know everyone loves a good cruise, so thanks to your events organiser yours truly, after a few months of neglecting my events job, we're going on one again. CAMS permit: SAU30092012 permit Sep 12.pdf Okay so here's the details; Date: Sunday 30th Sep 2012 Who: Anyone with any car (doesn't have to be a Skyline) but Skylines prefered We're taking a nice cruise from Kirrawee down to Headlands Hotel in Austinmer. From where? Well we're meeting up at 10AM, for a 10:30AM Sharp leave, at the parking lot near the corner of Waratah St and Bath Road in Kirrawee, up the road from Just Jap.. Where to then? Well, we head left out of that carpark to Toronto Parade, turn left, and follow this down to the Princes Highway. After travelling down to the Princes Highway, we hang a right heading for the Royal National Park turn off at Sutherland. As we near the National Park at Sutherland, we need to turn left down Farnell Ave. Once we turn here, there will be a bit of room on the left where we can pull over and get everyone to bunch back up. As we head into the Royal National Park, we'll be informing the "Gatesmen" that we are not stopping in the National Park and travelling through to Wollongong. (Which we are, into a northern Suburb of Wollongong). This means we don't have to pay to go through. From here we just shoot through the Royal National Park and pop out down the bottom at Bald Hill. After Bald Hill, we will be taking the left turn down Lawrence Hargrave Drive. We will follow Lawrence Hargrave Drive down until Headlands Ave, at which point we will turn left, and pull into the carpark at Headlands Hotel. Now this hotel does have some "Down Under Hollywood Class", being the main on-site filming location for the Australian Show headLand There is plenty of park land around the Hotel, and after a bit of a feed, I will be proposing a bit more socialising and some fun activities like photos and stuffs (Weather permitting) If the weather does fault, then we'll just stay inside, have our chats, and shoot some pool. On this cruise we will ALL be sticking to the speed limit. There will be NO DRIFTING. NO BURNOUTS NOTHING ILLEGAL! We will be the most courteous users on the road, and we will not be doing ANYTHING to cause any disrepute for the club. As with all SAU:NSW events, this cruise will run under a CAMS permit. This will be another fun day, with the only cost a bit of fuel, and what ever you decide to eat and drink. For those of you who decide you need more than one or two during the afternoon, please organise a safe way home. On this cruise we will ALL be sticking to the speed limit. There will be NO DRIFTING. NO BURNOUTS NOTHING ILLEGAL! Looking forward to seeing you guys there! BRING A FULL TANK OF FUEL!!!!
  7. Hi i have a r34 sedan non turbo and its been a long time now until i got off my P's now i can up grade to a turbo. Well i had already fallen in love with my skyline so i couldn't just get rid of it and buy a turbo 1 so ive decided to convert it to a turbo. I was looken and figured it would be better to just drop a whole new motor in so i went and bought a r33 series 2 turbo motor. Now I'm just waiting on a few parts and money and then i can go out and have some fun but if any1 knows about and car meets or cruise days i would be very interested in getting involved. But here are a few pics hope u think it looks as good as i do and if u have any advice for me then it would be much appreciated thanks
  8. It's happening again! Another "exciting" year has passed where COVID has locked us down, and stopped us from doing what we love most - cruising with you, our amazing SAU NSW fam! So, once again, restrictions are easing, and we're planning to make the most of it - SAU NSW EVENTS ARE BACK!!!!!! Just like last year, we're going to kick things off with our Putty Road cruise, which is our biggest and most loved cruise of all! We know you're all as excited as we are, so make sure you lock in the details and date below: Date: Sunday 23rd January 2022 Meet Location: Corner Windsor Road and Groves Avenue McDonald's / KFC (3 Groves Avenue, Mulgrave) Meet Time: Meet at 9:00am for a 9:30am departure Destination: The Royal Hotel, Singleton (84 George St, Singleton) Map: https://www.google.com.au/maps/dir/-33.6257063,150.8382563/-33.60192,150.8219818/7755+Putty+Rd,+Garland+Valley+NSW+2330/Royal+Hotel-Motel,+84+George+St,+Singleton+NSW+2330/@-33.0497301,151.2863625,10z/data=!4m16!4m15!1m0!1m0!1m5!1m1!1s0x6b0cfd0f940d6db7:0x818eda6b9975306!2m2!1d150.748518!2d-32.9074811!1m5!1m1!1s0x6b0cafd7fd5df341:0xb21f7907d7a5223e!2m2!1d151.1760133!2d-32.5628405!3e0?hl=en&fbclid=IwAR1VzOB-k3FPhuE2ZRvJiKSCYUSTqlTGX-HGZN4jH3mbFW7tIsucphjhqYQ Itinerary: We will meet at McDonald's / KFC on Windsor road and from there will head onto Putty Road. There will be a break at the Halfway Truck Stop which we should reach at approximately 11:30am. For all the Newcastle folks this will be a good point to join up. From here we will continue on to Singleton for lunch. Please remember to fill up prior to heading onto Putty Road. There will not be a fuel stop until Singleton. To those running on E85, the United at Vineyard on Windsor Road has started selling there. At Singleton there is a range of servo's available including BP, Shell and Caltex. There will be a lead and follow car so no one should get lost. We will also be bringing along walkie talkies to keep the group together so if you have one please bring it along. If you would like to attend or bring others along please put your name down and a +1 as numbers will be needed prior! To keep inline with the NSW Government's COVID requirements, we will have the following rules/requirements: - A QR code will be available for all to scan in at the start point and the Truck Stop. - All people joining us at Royal Hotel Motel will be required to check in with the pub upon arrival. - Everyone will be required to maintain social distancing of 1.5m at all times. - SAU NSW staff will be monitoring attendees for social distancing and will have the event QR code for all to scan. - Limited spaces will be available at the Royal Hotel Motel for those wishing to stay for lunch. More spaces will become available as restrictions ease. Should NSW Gov't COVID restrictions change, we'll update our event description, and will post on our page, so please stay tuned! A copy of SAU NSW's COVID plan is available for all to read, which can be found on our facebook page. This is NOT a race and we will all be adhering to all road rules. If this is what you want please come to one of our many track days. This is an official SAU:NSW event and will be run under a CAMS permit. One of the things that really sets our club apart is our commitment to being true enthusiasts. When on normal roads we strive to maintain good relations with the authorities as well as the public in general. When attending one of Skylines Australia NSW events please try to: • Be aware of surrounding environment and act accordingly. • Drive courteously on the state’s roads as a true enthusiast should. • Understand how important it is to maintain the good name of SAU:NSW and thus, treat others accordingly. • Any misbehaviour will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave. Thanks guys and hope to see you there!

Meet at Bunnings near Bankstown Airport at about 7:30PM for a 8:00PM leave. We can either go through Heathcote road and do the back half of nasho to Stanwell tops or go back through princess highway an do full nasho stop there for some stretches then industrial area in Port Kembla next go to maccas nearby for a feed and if anyone wants to go home at that time it's a good and easy turning point final destination will be Kiama blow hole. Route link so far: https://goo.gl/maps/TH1uh We will find a good spot with some light so I can set up the camera and take some photos too.. Facebook link https://www.facebook...coming&source=1
  12. Hello everyone. Below follows the proposed cruise from Loftus Tafe, to Mittagong RSL. The date is yet to be announced, but we are looking at around late june/early july. Planned for a sunday, saturday on popular request. 10 am start, proposed arrival inbetween 1-2 pm depending on traffic, stops, etc. Map URL: https://goo.gl/maps/yxEb0 The cruise will begin at Loftus tafe, or simular location, and then head to Wollongong via The National Park and Stanwell Tops. There will be an attempted photo stop at Stanwell Tops lookout, depending on the amount of attendance on the day. From stanwell tops, we will be taking the seacliffe bridge coast road until Bulli/Woonoona, where we will then take the freeway to Albion Park in preperation for Maquarie pass. There will be a fuel/drinks/toilet stop at Yallah shell service station for those that require it, whilst the rest of the group will wait on the outskirts of Albion Park. There will be a second availability for fuel at Robertsons Enhance station, however their site is small and their premium is laced with E10 ( I use it, haven't had a problem yet). Please let us know on the day if you believe you will be fueling up at Robertson. From Albion park it will be a straight run up the pass, till sheepwash road, and then directly through the Bowral bypass into Mittagong, hanging a left at the mcdonalds before parking at the RSL. Unfortunately, the southern highlands has limited area's that can accomodate a large group of car's, thus prompting the RSL as the final stop, as they have ample parking and decent facilities for a nice chilled afternoon. If this cruise blows out past 40 cars, which would honestly be amazing, there is ample parking at a marketplace underground parking a short walk from the RSL. From Mittagong, it is a simple matter of heading north before you are back on the Hume HWY and towards Sydney/Picton road for the coast people. With the RSL, obviously certain dress code's apply,as I am sure you are aware of. ( Singlets, thongs etc.) If the attendance isnt too high, ( 10 cars ) Berrima Pub will be the back up location for a more personal end to the day. Photographers are more than welcome, and we have some good idea's on the day to make use of you. This cruise will have a recon day with cruise organisers 2-3 weeks ahead of time, and this post will be updated with a fixed date with the same amount of notice. Another obvious note, this cruise will be driven under SAU guidelines, any anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated. We all enjoy enough attention from HWP as it is. Hoping for a dominate Nissan day, but obviously all makes are welcome. The more the better. Any further questions please feel free to PM myself, Thanks and looking forward to this big time, Josh.
  13. Hello fellow GTR enthusiasts. First id like to say sorry for any offence but this is strictly a GTR get together. Anyways as it is a start of a new year and the forums are dead I thought id organize a gathering of the TITANS as the tittle states. So any of you with any model GTR are welcome to meet up for a chit chat, swap stories, share info or even sell stuff. Thought we could get together and have a lunch or just have a few drinks and those who are keen a light journey into the hills, either for lunch or to sight see....... Not sure if it will be night time or afternoon or morning yet but am thinking of February the 15th 2014. I have organized many cruises in the past but thought something like this might be better and give other GTR owners a chance to meet and greet. So if we see each other on the street we can put a name/face to the car. Im open for suggestions on anything but obviously I would like to keep the principal the same. Thought the numbers would be not too large if it was just GTRs, and didn't want anything unmanageable. thoughts, interests, opinions are welcome. Anyone that has a problem with it need not post, simply move on to the next thread, thanks Mike
  14. Victorian stagea Cruise? are their any planned that i have missed out on or any that will be planned for the future please tell me im keen for a cruise
  15. On my way to work this morning I got hit with some school traffic and decided to find an alternate route, and I found a cracker of a road (even if it is only a short one). The road was a bit wet this morning from some light showers overnight, and with some multiple surfaces it creates some unexpected surprises. Please note that this review is taken within legal road limits. I do not encourage 'hooning' or performing illegal acts on public roads. Please respect the road rules at all times and take note of advised speeds (marked in yellow) before making your own judgement. Protheroe Rd - Forgan Rd, Cashmere (Speed Limit: 80kph) When heading from Protheroe Road, the first left hander (40kph) is slightly banked and has an open rough asphalt surface. The apex of the corner doesn't have much grip when wet, so be careful not to hit it too quickly. As the road opens you get a nice high speed winding section up to the top of the hill before a set of blind esses (50kph) dropping down a 16% grade. The esses tighten and open up again, but be careful not to tackle too quickly as there is a solid concrete gutter on the outside that's going to make a mess of your rims if you come over the crest with too much speed. As you arrive at the end of the road keep to the inside line - the road narrows over a blind crest with loose gravel on the side of the road. If you have any good cruise roads please share them. I'll endeavour to keep updating this first post with your favourite roads to make it easy for everyone to find them.
  16. This isnt somthing ive organised. Its been organised by Stax Earl and Tommy Orešković. Its a cruise from crossroads Bunnings thru the city and back. If we have enough people going from SAU. Any persons not wanting to pay the tolls please stay home. See you all on the first of many Midnight Circle runs. NO TRAFFIC LIGHTS ON THE WHOLE RUN FROM GO TO WHOA !!
