So I know I might get judged really badly for this but I need assistance. Like an idiot I filled up my tank with 91 octane because there were no other options since I was driving out of town (I live in a very rural area). I didnt get any issues initially and the car drove fine. However, today the car misfired and my check engine light is now on and is staying on. Could that be because of the fuel or would it be an issue with the coil packs? Please help.

Hey Guys Driving home normally from work this morning my engine light decided to come on for no reason. Car runs perfectly, only has a turboback exhaust and a MBC running 11psi. Rest is 100% stock, I don't drive the car hard, its a factory manual. I recently had an aftermarket dump pipe installed, could this be the problem? I thought coilpacks, but the car boosts, idles and runs perfect. Doesn't pop miss or carry on in any way.....

I am currently having two codes coming up after a while of driving being: Code 14: Vehicle Speed Sensor Code 34: Knock Sensor The knock sensor error is thrown straight after the vehicle speed sensor error is thrown. Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing this?

Hi all, I bought my 350gt a month ago and just realized that i have been driving it with the transmission setting on snow. When I put it on power the engine light comes on. also when driving around in power mode there is no noticeable difference in power or response time. Any ideas? Also apologies if this topic has been already covered.

Disabling Engine Light Hi, This is my first time posting. I own a 2003 V35 Coupe 6MT, I have been having alot of problems with the car since I bought it. I have recently moved states and the car needs a roadworthy. The Engine light has come on and I can't seem to clear it. The codes being thrown out is stating that all 4 O2 sensors are stuffed, which I find hard to believe as the car only has 37xxx on it and hasnt been driven in the 3.5 years that I've owned it. (Loss of licence). I can't get a roadworthy with the engine light on and the mechanic who has looked at it says he is 99% certain that all 4 sensors wouldn't go at once. I need to get the car registered so I can take it to a skyline import specialist in brisbane (an hour south of me). I was just wondering if the engine light has a dedicated fuse which I can remove just until the roadworthy is complete so I can take it and get it looked at as I think there is a far deeper problem. I could replace the O2 sensors but this is fairly costly for me and I'd hate to do it if it doesn't need to be done. The other option I was thinking of was removing the bulb from the instrument cluster so the light doesn't illuminate. I've already tried several different methods of clearing the CEL, which works until the car is driven and it comes straight back on. Is there anyone out there who can recommend ANYTHING to me as I'm pretty desperate at this stage.

M35 Stagea Engine Light Help - long start, can't pull diagnostics Hi Wagoneers, long time lurker, first time poster hoping for some help. Car: 2001 M35 Stagea (VQ25DET) Issue: Long crank then start, check engine light, drives normal (possibly less power, i haven't tried flogging it) I have searched all of the threads and tried to pull the codes from the CEL/MIL and I can't get the thing to flash for me. I've tried 10 times and I don't think its because i'm not getting the timing right on the sequence. I have the xanavian english conversion on the TV, was done before i bought it so not sure if that has prevented the stock display from showing any further CEL info. I have a sneaky suspicion it might be cam or crank sensor but would love to pull a code to confirm / check if its still safe to drive to work/drop the kids without doing any damage. any thoughts, ideas or even just a light ribbing from some veterans is welcome. cheers Adam

Skyline R34 engine light Hey everyone, Recently on my skyline r34 non turbo 4 door my engine light as come on twice within a 1 week period and am unsure of its cause. First the car is fine and then the engine light comes on (this is happened twice), no problems occur untill I stop at a set of lights and it starts to jitter back n four over 6 beats (this has only happened twice and I've stopped many other times with no jitters). I pull over and turn the engine off and wait a couple of seconds and then turn it back on and the engine light is gone. I believe it is just a ecu problem but I wanted to ask if anyone else had experienced this and how to fix it? Thank you for your time.
