Hey guys I have a r31 that I’m converting to a rb25 I have put a ffp on and the cable I got with the motor is miles to long, just wondering if there is a shorter cable out there I can buy, cheers 🙂

Good day guys, I'm currently working on a RB20DET that I have bought which was is in a pretty rough state. Just working on the motor and getting it all tidy. I just wanted to know if anyone has extended there injector, water temperature, CAS wiring.Reason being I've bought a front facing plenum and wanted to tuck in the wiring loom to give it a cleaner look around the intake manifold area. Also another thing is I'm going to be running 600CC Nismo injectors, ordered in some new plugs for the injectors as there different. But wanted to know if it does matter which injector plug goes where? or is there a specific order they plug in for each cylinder. My loom is currently out as I'll be extending it. Attached is some photos of the engine bay before and after, Nty to RFB. Cheers guys!

Got myself an FFP recently, all good and great, took off the lower runners so that I could clean them up, get rid of the 27+ years of road grime and stuff off of it. Ran into the issue of the there being 5 vacuum lines which I cannot identify nor can I find fittings for. I've done countless searches via Google and I can't find anyone who's done a DIY on how to install this dumb thing. Am I missing something?! Even the search bar on this site spits out Google links but never lists anything on the forum. I've got the manifold bolted correctly to the lower runners now, however I don't have the dimensions of what the 5 vacuum ports are. The one at the top side I'm assuming it's going to hook up to brake booster? Check valve? Then there's 4 on the bottom side, again no dimensions to speak of anywhere. I tried fitting with 1/8 npt and those are too big. That's the smallest size I could find at the parts store.

Hay guys, installing a Freddy front facing plenum. I’m currently part way through putting it on but having trouble with the 4 nipples off the side, can anyone point me in the right direction as to what hoses go in which nipple? And before everyone says there are post about it previously I’ve tried searching it up but that post is almost 10 years old and doesn’t have the pics anymore. Also have tried searching up the other links they put but none of them work for me. Any help would be much appreciated

I brought a rb25det freddy ffp with no intake bolts / studs. Does anyone have any idea what length bolts are required ? As the stock ones are too long.

Hey all good evening, Nice to see the site is still as clunky as ever on mobile ? Been a couple years since posting so go easy. Finally put the RB (Neo) in my S15 and the bonnet doesn't shut, so have succumbed to going a forward facing inlet setup, even though I was sold on the TCS delete of the 33 S1 TB. So what's the go these days? Car will make 400kw and is a street/track orientated build. Is the RB26 adaption worth It? Or perhaps the new Pro Flow stuff that's been kicking around (Not keen on the 90mm throttle body though) Rips/Plazmaman/Greddy and Freddy etc or even Otosaku garage or whatever they are.... Chasing the best results for tuning/power delivery and of course longevity of the motor (unopened 48,000k) Where are we at these days with where people sit on the RB ffp debacle? Thanks and kind regards,

RB25DET S2 Injector voltage need some serious help. car went in for a metal gasket job and ffp install. injector harness was extended, battery moved to the back. On the first day it started, the was a slight miss at idle. and when we hit 5k rpm, it hesitates and misfires, as you release the throttle , it idles like a impreza for a few seconds and then its back to normal. Changed to bcpr7eix and another set of coil packs (wreckers), now the problem is at 6k rpm. taped coils up, applied dielectric grease.... if on 2nd gear at 6k rpm on boost it hesitates and misfires. IF on 3rd or 4th gear at 6k is just feels flat and empty...it just wont go past 6k and holds. you can feel like there is a slight miss-ish but not misfiring, i dont hold it too long that way worried im gonna blow something. During this entire time, afr is at abt low 11's high 10's. timing up top has been set from 21 to 18 to 17 and stll doesnt help. injector duty is at 65%. MAF at abt 4.8v . the airflow load point in the map is at P15 (11k ) TPS been adjusted and this happens at any throttle Voltage it happens. i tried holding it at partial or WOT. so i doubt its the tps. at wot its 4.4v. Batt Voltage reading 13.8~13.9 Im kind of lost and loosing hope here. Car was mint before the job. now it just doesnt want to run right. Things ive checked are also for boost leaks, vacuum leaks, CAS timing (set at 15) crank and cam timing(all on correct markings). The car holds boost just fine, and at lower revs all the way to 5.8k it pulls hard. at 6k it just goes F*&&ed. makes no power whatsoever. I even went to the extent of buying another set of bkr6 0.8mm to try it and its the same thing. Car Spec : RB25DET Stock turbo 3"exh fmic walbro pump fpr 3bar ( no vac) stock coils 0.8bar boost cometic 1.3mm metal gasket power fc with fc edit aem wideband what do you guys think it is ? Wiring issue for the injector harness? battery moved to the back ? if it was injectors, i should be able to detect it on the log right? if it was fuel pump, shouldnt the afr be super lean before or when it happens? if it was maf the voltage should either be maxed out or suddenly drop? Could it be the coil pack harness? Please help. any suggestions or pointers will be great. any troubleshooting ideas . sorry for the lengthy post When i checked voltage for the injectors, i noticed i was barely getting any voltage on the 12v wire, its only abt 0.3-0.5v... but on the ground with key on engine off, im getting 12-13v. is this normal? shoulldnt i be getting 12v on both sides with key on ?

R33 S2 RB25DET FFP Install - HELP Hi all, First poster here I've got a few questions about installing a FFP. I've got a stock R33 S2 with the usual (FMIC, BOV, POD, Coilovers) around 176,000kms on the engine. The engine itself is very healthy, running stock boost but pulls like a dream, always serviced every 5,000kms with Penrite 10W40 Racing 10, spark plugs etc by myself of course. Now, I bought a FFP the other week, pretty sure its a Greddy remake, got it for a cheap price with all the fittings, screws and throttle body. Also bought the stock Inlet Manifold Gasket from Autopro just incase the one on is no good. Basically I want to tidy up the engine bay a little as I hate the look of the stock plenums and the J-pipe crossing over the engine is a pain to take off every time to do spark plugs. I'm very mechanically minded, been around RBs for years, done a few things to them and done a few engine rebuilds etc. So my questions are; anyone here done a FFP install themselves? How long did it take and what difficulties did you run into? Anything major to drill/reshape etc or just bolt on stuff? Where does the BOV get relocated to as the crossover J-pipe gets removed? Where do all the vacuum lines go? If anyone can get back to me ASAP with answers or even videos that would be more than appreciated as I don't want to start something and end up not being able to drive my baby, looking at doing all this over the weekend, cheers guys! NOTE: PICTURES WILL BE UPLOADED (ENGINE BAY, FFP, THROTTLE BODY)
