Hey Team, A bit to unload here. Hello from New Zealand I have a 2009 Nissan Skyline 370GT ( Type SP ) Auto 7 Speed, that I've had since 2022 and have loved the car since. Its painted in its factory QAB ( White Pearl ) with the Impul front lip and rare boot lid/spoiler with woodgrain interior. Mods since I've bought it and installed: Stillen Gen 3 Long Tube Intakes Motordyne Shockwave Catback Exhaust JDM Skyline Taillights Fake carbon spoiler and front grill ( Will be taking off.... its cringe ) VR30DETT Transmission from the Q50/Q60 to hold up to 550 Foot pounds of Torque ( 753 nm ) reliable Currently I plan to turbo the car and have all the parts needed ( Photo Included ), I have my tuning day set on August 8th and choosing EcuTek as my tuning platform. Two of my work colleagues has their 370Z ( Manuel ) and 370GT coupe ( Type SP - Manuel ) also turbo'd and they have inspired me to get it done I have prepped quite a wee bit for this, as I had done the VR30 transmission swap over to this car so that I can achieve my HP goals without torque being an issue. I've taken quite a cautions route, as im always thinking about the safety as well as performance with my build, I'd rather do it properly and not cut corners etc etc. Any who, I've recently picked up the AutoStrada cruise control kit with all the included cables/wires/instructions. I've been hella researching around and can't find much on the integration that it has with the ECU and/or system. the only reason why im asking is, because I'm getting EcuTek and one of them RaceRom features allows the ability to switch maps via the cruise control function, which I am currently in the grey area if this would add-on via the Canbus will allow me to switch maps or have the option to use Cruise Control to begin with ( showing up on the instrument cluster to advise Cruise Control being set etc etc ) Because of my model being Type SP, Cruise Control on these models was never an option from factory unfortunately. Anyone here that is able to shed some light on if the Cruise Control via AutoStrada gives OEM ability over the cruise control. Would love and appreciate any response and/or assistance with this, also happy to answer any question about my build and ill try pitch in where I can. Warm Regards,

Hey all, Picked up a manual 370gt not long ago. Have purchased BC BR coilovers and will be doing new bushings all round and front & rear sway bars shortly. My car is just shy of 200k kms but she still pulls hard and feels very tight all round. I was hoping to get your opinions on what FI route I should take. Option 1: Replace gallery gaskets and mid mount single turbo my existing VQ37. Using SOHO motorsports' single turbo dyno as a guide, I'd be looking at approx 600WHP and 600nm wheel at 5k RPM. Ride this motor out till it dies then put in a new VQ when the day comes. Option 2: Sell my VQ and do a VR30DDTT swap. I've been extensively researching this swap and know of 3 370z swaps, two 350zs and one 350gt (US so G35). I can't see why a 370gt should be too different to a 370z. The OEM motor mounts can be retained, I'll need a z1 adapter plate for my JK41A transmission, q60 ecu, harness, engine room harness, CANBUS module, custom intakes, lower downpipes, heat exchanger and tune. This will net me less HP - approx 450whp but more torque at lower RPMs for more RPMs - 675nm wheel at 2.5k to 4.5k. Putting aside sourcing parts, labour and installation timeframes, what would be your preference for a daily driver/occasional track visit car? Boosted VQ for 600WHP with a lower, shorter, later torque curve or a VR30 with 150 less HP but significantly better torque delivery? Any shop recommendations in Sydney, Wollongong, Newcastle or Canberra? Would love to hear your thoughts Al

It looks like I'm another "Gary" in the site... I'm (51) years young with a midlife crissis to modify a relatively rare sub-model of the Mitsubishi Lancer over the past going on two years now. That being said, I came across this site while perusing the Web, looking for parts. See you around! Edit: When creating a username, my choice was "truthdweller" but when I hit "enter" it came up "reincorporated" which is probably the result of my spell checker. Is there something a moderater/admin can do, or do I have to create another account?

Hi. there's this turbo for sale and before I purchase it I want to know if it's a dud. I know the only way to find out is to hook it up but if there's anything you see wrong with it please tell me !! Description: Selling the OP6 turbo off my R34Gtt and the alloy intake pipe due to upgrading. In good condition, crappy plastic wheel replaced and flowed, made 240Rwkw at 16psi Apparent Reason for selling is that he upgraded to a gtt 3076 He told me there's "a little bit of float but no end play, blew no smoke". He also suggested to put another bush kit on it. Can someone tell me what that means ? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Don't want this to be my second bad turbo I buy

Hi I've purchased this turbo and I've been told that it has been upgraded. Can anyone tell me if it's been high flowed or if there is a different compressor wheel or anything different with it ?

Rb20det s13 runs perfect but slower than a civic Hey everybody, i just made this account because ive been browsing this site everytime i need to learn something about my engine(rb20det) and the info yall got here is incomparable to any forums in the US where its just a huge internet argument. With that being said i havent found anything on this forum that adresses the issues im having so here goes. I have a rb20det swap in my s13 running everything stock, its holding boost at 10psi, the wideband reads 11-12 on boost and around 15 at idle, the timing is set at 15* and everything appears to be running perfect except a little idle fluctuation from 680-780rpm and sometimes i need to hit the gas when cranking to start it. The major issue im having is my car is slower than my honda accord but seems to be running fine, i can feel the turbo spool and the boost comes on but its still very very slow. Any help would be greatly appreciated

R34 Forward Facing Plenum and Front Mount Install Hey everyone, I've been looking around the boards for any information on how to do this but haven't been able to find any I'm looking at installing a forward facing plenum onto my GTT, i've already done the front mount and the lag it suffers is horrendous doing basically 3 laps of the car before reaching the intake. Has anyone installed a forward facing plenum and have any tips on how to go about it? However I'm more after ideas on where to run the intercooler pipe from the exit? Will i need to relocate the battery or is there a section on the GTTs where I can safely run the piping? Any help / thoughts would be of great help! Cheers
