The guys at Autoblog have recently added a few posts on both the Subaru BZR tS and the Forester tS. From what I understand, the tS models will sit below the STi models (even though both of these cars are branded with STi badges.) The BRZ first; These calipers look fantastic although the overall disc size seems a little underwhelming. The seats are Recaro's with STi branding. Only the second tS badge I can see in the pictures. The BRZ looks awesome with the black wheels and wing, theres more STi badges than you could poke a stick at. It has 200HP which pushes it to 100kph in 6.8 seconds which will be a welcome increase on the base model power I'm sure. I'm not sure if this model is coming to Australia, but I also don't know if there would be a market for it here between the base BRZ and the STi (if it comes here.) What do you think? Read more about the BRZ on Autoblog. Next is the Forester tS. I reckon this car looks awesome and the first thing that grabs me is the claim that it'll do 0-100 in 6.2 and only has 250HP! That seems pretty good for a big car! (3,620lbs / 1642kg) The Forester definitely looks more 'Mum and Dad' than the BRZ which is to be expected. Besides a little more poke and better styling is there enough to warrant choosing one of these over a standard one? I can't answer that, especially considering we have no pricing. Check the Forester tS on Autoblog. Opinions?

Up for sale is my MY07 Subaru Forester X. Have owned the car now for a bit over 2 years which has served me very well and has no major accident history. It gets great fuel economy, ranging from 500-600kms per tank, and have always used BP98 fuel. 90% of the kms on this car are highway/freeway kms, which is much healthier for the engine than the usual stop-start driving in the city. The car hardly gets driven anymore though and I am now after something a bit smaller and sportier (S15) The car has recently recieved its 100,000km service including all driving and timing belts. Also all shock absorbers and springs have been replaced with brand new items, giving an excellent and very smooth ride. Also I have replaced the standard front grille with a carbon fibre STI forester grille, sourced from Japan, and have replaced the parker globes with L.E.D lights giving a brighter, whiter light. The standard grille will also be included with the sale. The car also come withs a tow-bar and a cargo barrier, which were fitted from factory. (Cargo bay not pictured) Feel free to contact me and inspections are welcome. The price is advertised as $17,500 and this is negotiable, however no low-ballers/dreamers please.
