Hello guys! This week’s car problem isssssssss the fuel gauge is reading incorrect fuel level (always at full or close to full) I have an RB25DET wired to a S13 hatchback fuel sending unit. I have double checked that the fuel gauge is grounded properly and connected correctly. So, next step was to check the fuel sending unit which I found is reading 0-2 ohm in both fuel and empty. So! That means it is reading the incorrect resistance. Is there a way I could fix this without buying a whole new sending unit, perhaps a resistor? Thank you all!

R33 Running Rich, Rough and Struggling to Start Hi all, New to the site after trying to find answers through existing posts and come up with nothing 1993 R33 RB25DET (bought it NA and put the RB25DET in it) its been sitting for a year before I decided to register it. was running somewhat fine misfiring and rough on high boost through gears but idled ok. 5 weeks into it and its overfuelling extremely strong blowing black smoke and sounds like a wrx no matter what speed im doing. on start up whether it was hot or cold it sounded like a dead battery but eventually wound over, this is progressively getting worse taking longer and longer to wind over, when it does wind over it takes a while to start (thinking fuel issue) im getting 350km out of a tank and extremely fuelly inside and out of the car. pinging when boosting was wanting advice for where to look first? was thinking to test coil packs, maybe the CAS (a tune maybe?) suspected timing issue maybe? standard motor and ecu with the usual mods. I am using the non turbo exhaust could that play a part? any help appreciated so I can start eliminating potential causes. thinking maybe its running advanced can I alter this via the CAS? mechanically minded on naturally aspirated cars but bring fuel injection and ECUs in and im lost

Good evening all, was driving around town and car stalled during the drive. Got the car parked and narrowed down the issue to the fuel pump not priming or turning on at all. For starters: 1990 BNR32, Apexi ECU and Power FC, Deatschwerks fuel pump. To sum up all the troubleshooting I've done: Shot power for fuel pump relay and coupling to cap of tank, 12v of power is provided for a second, then relay shuts off providing no power. (while key is in on position) Installed R33 GTR fuel pump and once again pump is not priming. Fuses all intact. Provided direct power to Deatschwerks fuel pump, pump did not turn on. (Gonna get a new pump) Swapped batteries to a new one. Any recommendations going forward to try and narrow down this electrical gremlin? Is there a fail safe where the relay will not provide constant power if a pump is not installed? Thanks!
