Hey guys, im fairly new to the forums but i had a brand new Gates Timing Belt and water pump kit with all seals and gaskets needed todo the job. I paid 360$ with shipping around a year back for the kit, but i never got around to needing to use it as i barely drive my r34. I have attached a picture for you to see, Item:Gates Timing Belt+Water Pump Kit Location: Western Sydney Price: $340 O.N.O(On Negotiable Offer) This kit suits rb25det engines and as far i am aware it fits rb26 as well but confirm with a professional before purchasing. Make me an offer as i need cash and dont need this lying around.

Did a search and couldn't find a topic like this. Any way, did a catch can install on my GT-T yesterday and nI now have a check engine light on... and dont know what the problem is. Its plumbed from the cam breathers to a tee piece to join them together, going into the 'in' on the can, then the 'out' going back to the intake before the turbo. Have I dont it wrong? Id check for a pcv but tbh I have no clue where or what it is. Any better suggestions for a closed loop system or and help would be great! Thanks in advance guys!

I am currently having two codes coming up after a while of driving being: Code 14: Vehicle Speed Sensor Code 34: Knock Sensor The knock sensor error is thrown straight after the vehicle speed sensor error is thrown. Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing this?

Hey guys Recently purchased myself a R34 with the factory Nismo kit, unfortunately it doesn't have the 25 GT-T badges on the back, anyone know where I can purchase some?
-
Only used for 1,000 kms on an r34 gt-t, need to run minimum of an 18" wheel, selling as I put the factory brakes back on to sell the car. They felt amazing on the car, no squealing from the pads. Condition is perfect. $1,000, RRP is $2,000. Paul 0438 182 855

Hi fellow skyline enthusiasts. I am changing my rego from Nsw to ACT registration as i purchased my car from NSW but hold an ACT license. I failed my first attempt at the Pits at the Dickson inspection station because one of the flanges on the exhaust hit the metal ridges which protude from the surrounding of the pit. I was asked to just turn as there was no point in doing a further inspection. I am having the flanges cut off and the whole exhaust piping tucked closer into the chassis and also raising the car to a height which will clear the 90mm limit for the pit. My car is well maintained mechanically. I was just wondering if i would have an issue with FMIC and (intercooler piping), POD filter (secured at 2 different points) and bleed valve. Mods to my 34 are as follows: FMIC POD Filter secured at 2 points Bleed valve Running stock boost (9psi) 3.5" HKS silent power exhaust new Pirellis all round on 18's Fully serviced Any insight or previous experiences at the Dickson motor registry would be great as i don't want to throw more cash at these guys for another inspection fee of $80 plus the waiting time for a booking being 1-3 weeks. Thanks!

Hi guys! I have an inspection tomorrow for my R34 GT-T. I was hoping someone could give me a hand today/tonight with installing the stock shocks back into the car. It currently has Cusco adjustables. I don't have a trolley jack so it's quite hard for me, regardless i am useless with these things. Willing to pay for the help!!

I sold my n/a R34 back in 2009 with left hand side damage. It was unregistered for over a year from 2008-2009. I kept the plates and still have them in my possession. I have done another check and the person i have sold the vehicle to (without the plates) now has those plates registered to the car. I was planning to change those plates over to my current R34 but looks as though that might not happen. Would it be worth chasing up as i still have the plates in possession but didn't put them on hold? I was 17 at the time and thought that if i kept the plates i would just get a notice in the mail saying to either surrender the plates or to pay for a holding fee.

Selling my 1998 Nissan Skyline R34 GT-Turbo Coupe This is without doubt the cleanest R34 GT-T you will find in Sydney and the most mechanically sound. Freshly imported in November 2013 and purchased through a dealer by the name of George at Dream Car World in Haberfield. This car has been my absolute child, saying that I have taken care of her religiously over the past couple of months. Feeling the need to maintain her, I took the liberty to add Four Brand new tyres which still have almost 100% tread. At my own expense, with sale I will offer for FREE: - 1 Full Tune Up - 1 Service - 1 Cooling Systems Flush and Test - 1 Transmission Service This will ensure your confidence in knowing you have purchased a quality vehicle. Here is a guide to the additions made to the car in Japan before making the trip to Australia: - R34 GTR Front Brake Calipers - R34 GTR Electronic Dash - HKS Coilovers - SSR Wheels - 3.5" Exhaust Besides these additions, the car is completely stock with a great interior. Reason for selling: - I tied up all my money into this car and seeing that I'm currently at uni and dont have a full time job, i need to sell the car to go to Canada next January - I am in no rush to sell the car, that being said, NO LOWBALL offers please. *** Just under 3 years Warranty remaining *** If you have any queries, I will reply within <24 hours.

Hey guys/gals, I've seen some fairly outdated posts about Impul kits and people saying how pricey they are. But from looking around I can see an Impul front bumper for $300 supposedly from fibreglass? Is that what I should be expecting or is that a copy/fake and should stay away? East Bear just was way too pricey for me to consider as a genuine product so this is the next best imo I've got a few I would love to buy but won't touch them if it will end up costing me more money replacing/repairing in the long run. Cheers.

We are all apart of this forum because we (in some way or another) appreciate and admire Skylines. This is just a short insight into my Skyline world. My first love for Skylines started after i watched the Silver R34 GTR (Driven by Paul Walker) in 2 Fast 2 Furious (the sound captivated me). I remember watching that movie and for years researching and craving to own one. I bought my first skyline at 17 (1998 Black R34 GT manual). I had intentions to make it the fastest n/a r34, but my research suggested it was a ridiculous cost and resale value would not be that great. A few years passed and the GT was left relatively stock and i moved onto a beautifully maintained 1999 R34 GT-T (Black again) with 71,000km/s on the clock and that bloody Turbo bug got me good! I am now 24 and in the constant struggle of trying not to mod the car with every dollar i earn. Currently- FMIC, boxed POD filter (due to intercooler piping), 18" F-Zero Challenge Rims (exterior sprayed black, HKS gauges, Full Alpine Type-R sound system and a bleed valve. Running 9psi currently. Leaving all relatively stock. She gets hand washed every week and is meticulously maintained. My wife actually thought i took better care of the car then most other things haha. Anyways, i have had the non-turbo and currently own a GT-T so now, the long wait of hopefully (2-4 years) to save for my beautiful R34 GTR M'spec NUR or V-Spec II Nur. Thanks all, Glad to be here!

Hey guys, the name's joel. I'm new to the SAU forum and am the new owner of a 1998 ER34 This is my first Nissan/skyline/turbo and I'm really happy with it! 2nd Australian owner and only has 81,000kms! Came with a few modifications such as: Full Nismo body kit Sound System (will probably rip out the sub/amp. Will replace head unit eventually) PDW 18" Wheels (will be replaced ASAP, probably going with XD9's) HKS Mushroom Fujitsubo Legalis Super R Muffler (not sure whether to keep and try and locate the rest of the system or just go full new system) Came with factory floor mats and weather shields, unfortunately a mate accidentally snapped one so need to find another set or might get some carbon ones. First mods I'll do will be pretty basic: wheels, coils, exhaust, FMIC, boost controller and BOV to start off with. Might de-wing it, maybe. Only have photos from the carsales ad at the moment, will take and upload my own when I get a chance, she needs a wash first

New r34 gtt NEO owner Hey people, new 34 gtt neo owner here, been on the site here for a while finding tips for my car and finally decided to join up. My car is a stock R34Gt-t RB26 NEO and she hates me haha. Had alot of problems since I bought her unfortunately and all i want is for her to run smooth. Shes gota power fc with the steel bearing turbo, tuned at 15psi but has probs with a power cut (i think) on WOT boost. Felt like she wasnt breathing right so disconnected catch can and she was great.. albeit illegal... so thats just the tip of the iceberg lol. See you in the forums!!!

1998 R34 GT-T The time has come to sell my beloved Skyline. Moving on to other cars means i will have no time to drive it which is not something i want to happen to a car meant to be driven. I have owned the car for 4 years now, with 2 previous owners before me, one being the original importer. Car has been regularly serviced and has also had its 100,000km service done in the past two years. Has over 182k KM on the clock but still goes strong and loves the boost. Only two major modifications i have done is a 3.5 inch turbo back exhaust and front mount intercooler. Rest of the car is stock apart from a new gauge cluster and stereo. Being automatic i know its not the most popular proposition for enthusiasts, but i would make the case that for a daily driver in Sydney traffic especially, the auto gearbox with semi-auto mode makes for a of a lot of fun. Priced at $8,000, it was purchased for $9,500 and i've spent a couple more on it since then. Having said that i will take reasonable offers close to the asking price. Will add some interior photos tomorrow when i have some proper light
