For sale, front and rear housings from a gt3076 rear is 5 bolt .63 doesnt fit my 3076 came off a 700177-11 the polished front cover i got fitted so selling my original front housing $200 each $350 the pair also have used stainless top mount t3 rb25 manifold, heat wrapped $200o.n.o (going custom steampipe) located Adelaide (northern suburbs)

Recently been put through the wringer the last 6 months after getting defected but she is finally back on the road fully engineered! Looking forward to getting more involved now the passion is back.   4. Hi lads, I've got the 7 blade gt3076 with the t04s 0.7 a/r compressor cover on it, 0.82A/r rear housing ext gated. I have used this turbo on my previous RB25DET and made 292rwkw @18psi on the state's lowest reading dyno (C-Red @ W.A). I'm currently doing a RB30DET conversion with this same turbo and after lot of research (sau, hardtune, nasioc etc) I find that there is not a conclusive answer to the difference between the real GT3076R (6 blade) vs the Gt3076 with 7 blade T04S compressor cover on it beside "the 7 blade old design chokes flow at high boost, it acts like a brake". I have looked the compressor maps (attached below) and there isn't much variation point to point between the pressure ratio and the air flow between the 6 blade and 7 blade, they also flow to about 53lb/min at 68% efficiency. Question is, can experts point out where I did wrong/right to verify the 7 blade (52T) is inferior to the real 6 blade gt3076r (56T)? What I'm aiming is like al's or cubes setup but externally gated, ~350rwkw with E42.5 (50% E85 and 50% 98 ron) with the intention of full boost by 3000rpm and to max out the AFM, turbo and injectors. The setup is: RB30DET 9:1 CR 86.5mm CP pistons Spool conrod My current 7 blade turbo Tomei poncams RB25DET head vct enabled Power FC Steam pipe exhaust manifold Greddy Intake manifold 760cc JECS Injectors Z32 AFM The RB25 made full boost by 4000rpm which was great for barbagallo long track but as soon as I go short track or enter rally sprint events (very tight course) the lag really slowed me down. Also did a quick calc based on the real GT3076R RB30DET setup like al's and cubes; 3L, 7000rpm, VE 92%, Boost: 18psi gives a pressure ratio of 2.2 and 53lb/min air flow (see no corrections air temp etc are made here) plots to the right side of the 65% efficiency range but these guys are making ~330rwkw happy power..... What do you think?

  7. Hi everyone. So my r34 gtt has had a gt3076 56trim with a .63 internal housing for some time now. I never can flog it due to the horrible boost creep. not to mention the kinda shit power from that turbo at that psi. So to fix the issue i got a .82 housing with a ported 37mm internal gate. Drove it today and it still creeps to about 1.3bar. but holds there where before it would keep going until it started to lean out (fart, crack ect.) this turbo is from gcg and the housing, i use a apexi avc-r controller, standard manifold (mild port), split dump from gcg, 3inch front pipe (i Think) to apexi hi silent back exhaust, no cat. So basically can someone explain or possibly rectify this issue (which seems to be common). if they are selling these things for rb25 they must have some form of boost control. I'm to far gone for a external gate as it defeats my original intention. thanks
  8. Hi guys, Selling parts of my GT3076 setup that was on my RB25. Basically turns an internally gated GT3076 into external gate, to use with standard intake manifold etc. This allows much better boost control and allowed mine to make more boost down low, in circumstances where the factory Garret IW wasn't holding shut. Includes: - RB25DET factory cast manifold - Steel spacer to fit GT30 sized turbo - Genuine Garrett GT3076 .82 rear housing (5 bolt outlet flange, T3 inlet) with external wastegate flange professionally welded on (to suit Turbosmart HyperGate 45) Internal gate welded shut. - Dump pipe to suit 5 bolt turbo flange with external gate plumbed back in (including flex join) - Modified 'J' pipe with relocated AAC pipe & GFB Respons BOV (recirculate or vent to atmo) - Modified OEM heat shield - Modified OEM hotside intercooler pipe (to accommodate 2" 90* bend from comp outlet) - Steel brace (Gibson motorsport inspired) to support turbo and prevent stud flex/warpage This setup worked really well and I am only selling as I have put a 6boost manifold on. All you need is a Turbosmart HyperGate 45 and the dump/ wastegate pipe should all line up. $300 ono for the whole lot. Located Blacktown, NSW. PM for more details.
  9. Just interested on what people beleive is the best setup for street response, im not talking top end but the best torque and part throttle at legal speed limits.. My setup so far is an RB30 neo with 260 poncams and GT3076 0.83 external 44mm on E85.. making 345kw on 16psi with 230kw at 4000rpm... My goal was real street fun without lag and not needing to smash the limiter.. Current performance is that she pulls hard from 3500rpm and open wheels hard... but id like to bring this down and don't mind taking from the top to give to the bottom/mid so thinking along the lines of a 0.63rear and 3.7 diff gears but not sure if will give the best results or cause problems.. i quite liked the stock VL turbo type torque delivery and want similar but obviously 300kw plus still.
