Bit of a rookie question boys, but do R33 GTS coilovers go on a R33 GTST? Bout to buy some and I just want to know for certain. Cheers.

hey guys So i just bought my first car and its a 1995 r33 gts coupe with an RB20e engine in it. The car is completely stock and has no modifications done to it. I would love to make the exhaust sound much louder than what it currently does and I would like to know what else i could do to it. Im very new to skylines and have no idea what parts to get to make the exhaust sound better so any help would be very much appreciated. Cheers.

Hey, sorry if this has been covered but I couldn't find it if it was. I need some help identifying the rear calipers on my R32 GTS (NA). It has the 4 lug hub and single piston real calipers. Does anyone have the part number of the caliper as well as those for the associated parts? My problem is that the lower slide bolt on the left hand side won't move freely, no matter how much I clean and grease it. It seems like the pin sits in a rubber sleeve that goes all the way through, is that right? If so I think I need to replace that sleeve as the pin looks to be in good shape. Does anyone know the associated part numbers or can otherwise identify the caliper assembly? I've attached a few pictures, thanks in advance!

After doing a 5 stud conversion + brake upgrade (r33 gtst brakes) onto my r33 gts I cant get my brake pedal to feel firm. The car used to have ABS but everything has been removed including the sensors on the calipers. I have compared my brake setup to another non abs r33 and its exactly the same so theres no reason it shouldn't work. Ive already had a mechanic look at it, tried to bleed it, but still no improvement on the brakes. Besides that I have also tried to bleed the brakes and master cylinder using the brake pedal and a hand pump vacuum bleeder. With the car not running, the first 20% of the brake pedal has play, and the last 80% of the brake pedal feeling solid as. With the car running, is literally the opposite, 80% of the brake pedal is useless and the last 20% is when the brakes stop the car although i haven't tested it at speed higher than 30km/h. Theres no leaks, every connection is tight, fresh brake fluid etc. The brake booster is also from a turbo r33 to match the turbo gtst brakes. Could the master cylinder be broken? is there a way to test if it is? the brake booster and master cylinder both worked before installing them. I read on a forum from someone who did the same brake upgrade, same car, and had to upgrade to brake booster and master cylinder cause the brake pedal always felt soft/spongy. But there was no information on the upgrades he made? Any help would be appreciated!

Hi SAU, As title says, looking for a p-platers skyline for my brother. Will be used as a daily, so a reliable example would be most desirable. - must be manual, coupe, and n/a (GTS or 25GT) - maximum budget of $7500 - must be healthy mechanically for age (no leaks in engine, no gear crunching, etc) - not to fussed on interior/exterior condition (a bit of color fade not an issue) - r32 and r34 would be top preference, but r33 which meets requirement will also be considered (already have an r33) - any color - registrable in VIC - prefer it come with RWC, or at least in a condition where RWC would be easily obtainable - VIC located cars only please Contact me through this forum or PM me. Okay so I have a r33 NA rb25de motor/ gearbox that I’ll be putting in a turbo r33 shell and was just wondering if I can use the same loom or will I have to change it to the NA one ?

So basically I've had this r34 gtv skyline for a while Its a 2001 / Coupe / Manual / GTV / NA / Imported On the rear it has a red rear fog light where the drivers side reverse light should me on a r34 skyline The option to turn it on in next to the light switch on steering wheel Research seems to lead me nowhere Is this special or just standard?

Hey guys, I finally decided to put up a little info on my R33. It started life as a bog standard R33 GTST series 2 when I bought the car in 2009. I put a set of Advan RS racing wheels on it almost straight away which cost me half as much as the car itself.... For my 18th birthday my parents bought me an advanced driver training course with Fifth Gear Motoring at Wakefield Park. Apparently I wasn't too bad!!! I managed a 1:19.6 on standard wheels and 10 year old Falken something 205 tires. Everything went downhill from there.... When I get home tomorrow I will update the thread with old and current photos of the car and take you through how it got there and where we are headed!!! Cheers Damian Lomax Last Minute Racing

Hey guys, My car currently is running an exposed pod filter and I have just got hold of an original airbox . I was thinking of running a K&N pod filter (Im open to suggestions as to the type of filter). I just wanted to know what size pod filter would best sit in the original airbox? What is the diameter of the filter used? Anyone running this kind of setup? Any advise/suggestions are much appreciated.

Selling complete motor with turbo and ancilliaries, has been sitting for over a year but starts and runs. Can post video of starting engine if requested. A bit rich, sensors and shit are probably filthy. 140,000kms. It's very clean aside from a few cobwebs. Recommend an immediate major service at the very least. Uses no oil, blows no smoke. $900 ono or $800 if you come get it from the car yourself! 5 speed gearbox very nice and notchy, no issues with synchros, clutch is superb and will come with gearbox unless someone wants it real bad with the engine. $800 I have the whole car (stock White Manual R33 GTS25T), feel free to ask about other parts. Selling my 1995 series 1 R33 GTS skyline non turbo, this is a great car, never missed a beat, no leaks, oil and filter changed regularly. Great p plate car looks good, clean and fast. ive had this car for almost a year now, and has never let me down, mechanically the car runs great, and looks good! Rb25DE engine 5 speed manual 18inch rims exhaust system giving her a nice loud sound M sports style bodykit, front bar has small crack, but will come with stock front bar that has recently been resprayed. Also will come with another hood, due to the one on at the moment has a few dints ( the car hasnt been crashed, just a second hand hood), the other hood just needs a respray. has a sub, speakers and amp installed just unsure what the brand is. Comes with rego until may automatic windows air con aux cord hook up to the Jvc screen head unit interior is great and tidy, cleaned regularly. body and paint work is good no dints or major scratches, but there are a few small scratches, not really noticeable. new battery less than a year old and new sparkplugs This car has not be thrashed, its a clean car, just to cruise in. Tires are in good condition, plenty of trend! The car has done around 200000kms, but the dash has been changed and says 126000kms ive probably forgotten something but yeah thats the car im asking for 7000$ price is negotiable , any question text me on 0423010610

hi guys, im new to the forum so this would be my first post. I am currently 17 and not too far off of getting my p's, I have a general love for my skylines especially the r34 4 door gtr. I have been set on an r32 gts-t 4 door for a while now seeing as the laws have changed to nearlly the same as queensland's here in victoria. The Vicroads website states that: "If your probationary licence was issued on or after 1 July 2007, you can drive some lower performance turbocharged or supercharged vehicles. The definition of a lower performance turbocharged or supercharged vehicle is a vehicle with six cylinders or less that is: turbocharged or supercharged with a power to weight ratio of less than 100kW per tonne turbocharged or supercharged with a power to weight ratio between 100kW and 125kW per tonne and that is considered to be a family type vehicle (four seats or more) rather than a sports type vehicle. A family type vehicle is a sedan, station wagon or hatch normally used to carry families/passengers with four or more seats and is equipped with child restraint anchorages. A family type vehicle does not include a sports car (two door coupe)." Now... i got a phone call this morning from a lady from vicroads exemptions. She basically assumed i was some dick head p plater who just wants a fully sick turbo. She was rude and was set on telling me no i could not drive a 4 door r32 gts-t. I am confused because the r32 gts-t weighs 1,300kgs and makes 158rwk. 158/1300 = 121kw/tonne which falls bellow what vicroads states is required to drive a 4 door turbo charged vehicle. She said i can apply for an exemption aslong as i have some sort of "un-due hardship" that requires me to drive this vehicle. I wanted the gts-t so that i didnt have to sell it as soon as i was off my p's, Not to mention the n/a models cost more. I am tempted to send another letter and hopefully get someone a little more polite and not as ignorent to call me back. Ive heard of people applying for exemptions for the gts-t without undue hardship and just stateing that it falls below what the vicroads website states. Have any of you guys done this? im just looking for some solid info because as much as i love the gts-t im not going to risk my license to drive it. thanks guys.

are the grill mounts detachable for the n1 headlamps? or are they moulded to the housing? iv seen some n1 types that have the mounts and some doesnt have it..

hey guys, theres a weird/annoying clicking sound coming from my car when it revvs high. It's an R33 GTS. I thought it was because of my catback exhaust, but after putting a new one on today it still makes the same noise. Does anyone know where it's coming from or how to fix it?
