Hello all, I have a 1996 Skyline r33 GTS-T. This question is a two-parter. Firstly, and more simply, my r33 has GT-R Brembo Brakes. I am buying new pads and rotors. Can I correctly assume that any GTR-Brake/Rotor that was originally compatible with the r33 is going to be the same shape/size, regardless of the model? By that I mean, without knowing exactly what GT-R model these Brembo brakes came from, I can safely buy r33 GT-R sized brake pads and rotors and should be fairly safe in them fitting correctly? My second question is a bit more complex. I do not know if the previous owner put in Glycol-based brake fluid (DOT 4) or Silicone-based brake fluid (DOT 5). I did a test, by extracting some fluid from the reservoir and adding water. The brake fluid and water DID NOT mix, implying it is Silicone-based, but also the brake-fluid isn't purple, which is really throwing me for a loop. So, to be absolutely safe, I've decided instead just carry out a full fluid flush and replace with Glycol-based, especially since I am putting new pads and rotors on anyways. However, I am uncertain as to what the best method would be. I have read that I should use denatured alcohol (methylated spirits) to push the original brake fluid out, then use cheap DOT 3 to flush the system, then put in my proper high quality DOT 4 or DOT 5.1 brake fluid of choice. Is this correct? I've never done this before and want to make sure this is a proper method. I've also read that I should use compressed air to fully flush out the denatured alcohol, but I'm sure I understand how that works? Would I just hook up an air compressor pump to the brake fluid reservoir and open all the bleeder valves? I appreciate any/all advice, links and sources, and information you can provide. Thank you

Hi SAU community I'm wanting to buy an R32 4 door preferably GTS-4 but happy to look at GTS-T, i know its a stretch but looking for one quite standard in good condition i have good money ready to spend for the right car. Any help much appreciated, also at this stage not looking at 2 doors.

Hey all, this is my first post here and I am a beginner deaf and wheelchair bound photographer who loves to take pictures of cars whenever I can. My main favourite is the 1993 Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R and want to own one one day. I have some photos that I have taken today (5th October 2018) while I was at Powercruise in Barbagallo. I'll upload some more photos once I find the best ones so far, for now, there is just that one for now. Please let me know what you think ?

Hey guys, im fairly new to the forums but i had a brand new Gates Timing Belt and water pump kit with all seals and gaskets needed todo the job. I paid 360$ with shipping around a year back for the kit, but i never got around to needing to use it as i barely drive my r34. Hi everyone, pleasure to meet any and all of you! Yesterday I purchased an R32 GTS-T and drove it to Adelaide from Sydney.. on the way back in I went to get the ID check done, got defected for 3 minor things Until they are fixed I can't transfer the rego into my name within the state, thus the car is unregistered.. I have a UVP till Monday (2nd Dec) I have little to no friends, maybe one in the JDM game.. Any help on who to take the car to and where to get parts / meeting new people would be fantastic ❤️ Here's the car, and here's the little devil notice lol TLDR; the defects are: Window Tint too dark RHS "A" Pillar Gauges HID Headlights am hoping I can just change the globes on the lights. apparently I can't just remove the gauges and have it open so need to locate a RHS stock "A" Pillar interior trim and I really don't care about the tint, I don't use my phone or have anything to hide.. if anyone is a genius when it comes to removing it ❤️

I'm putting $15,000 on it EOI take it as it is. Making this post is something I've been thinking of since my son was born last year hoping I would have the time to finish the car since the engineer build was completed mid 2016. unfinished project. immediately needs clutch, water hoses, power steering hoses, wheel alignment. and im not sure about the turbo bearings, the water pipe that's collapsed is the line for the turbo, where it joins rubber to metal right behind the cylinder head where I cant get to it. custom colour respray, but its a bang up job, and the c pillar needs redoing (see pic). as does the wing, but the wings glued aswell, so I guess so does the boot. might wanna redo the mirrors too. mechanicals are all stock and old. also theres no rear window trim (see pic) THIS CAR MUST BE TOWED! (due to water hose) new tires. please note there is no magenta compliance tag on this vehicle, however it is currently registered in nsw. -
selling my 1992 r32 skyline, need the cash to travel and moving to a island when i get back so no real point keeping it, although it will be missed. its had a bit of work done to it nothing internal all bolt ons but still goes alright with a super clean look to it. Just finished putting in a imported engine, still rb20 but only done 110,000 on the engine itself the car has (will put up tomorrow) but haven't had anything major happen to it other than the alternator which is now a rb25. bit of damage on drivers door from a hit and run was so devastated when i found what had happened. i'll cut it sort to what mods it has and cons. rego: KKR 430 turbo turbosmart eboost2 blitz ecu chip simens injectors billet twin feed fuel rail saed fuel reg. Hey guys, I finally decided to put up a little info on my R33. It started life as a bog standard R33 GTST series 2 when I bought the car in 2009. I put a set of Advan RS racing wheels on it almost straight away which cost me half as much as the car itself.... For my 18th birthday my parents bought me an advanced driver training course with Fifth Gear Motoring at Wakefield Park. Apparently I wasn't too bad!!! I managed a 1:19.6 on standard wheels and 10 year old Falken something 205 tires. Everything went downhill from there.... I have a Blitz Intercooler for sale. 610x266x68mm Return flow type, some small dings to fins but nothing to detract from it's performance. It's been painted black on face. Has a price sticker of $1599 on it. All it needs is a good clean. Looking for $300 for it. Includes free postage Aus Wide. -
Located in Pascoe Vale South VIC 40th Anniversary edition. Garaged, weekend car only does 4000km per year, only 91xxxkm on the clock, great condition inside and out. 246 rwkw @ 15psi (dyno sheet available) All work performed by Chasers Motorworks in west Melbourne Modifications include: BMC high flow panel filter (in standard airbox), GCG High flow turbo, Z32 AFM, Walbro 250 l/hr fuel pump, Jecs 650cc Injectors, Apexi Power FC, HKS EVC-S, Blitz SE return flow FMIC, 54mm Alloy Radiator JJR Bellmouth Dump/front pipe, High flow Cat, Fujitsubo rear muffler (jasma spec) (sounds really good, not too loud). NPC Organic Clutch (standard feel, rated to 300 rwkw) Intima SR brake Pads (rated to 700 degrees) I have receipts for all this work which was only done July 2012. Standard parts that have been upgraded will come with car also (ECU, Injectors, AFM, intercooler, dump/front pipe) other modifications : Nismo clear side indicators, Nissan 350z 18" wheels, D1 Aluminium Wheel nuts, Alpine Double DIN CD player/radio with Ipod connectivity, front and rear strut braces, razo gearknob, Autometer boost gauge, mongoose alarm system Oil changed every 2000km (6 months) with fully synthetic quality oil. gearbox oil is synthetic and was done when clutch was installed, Brake fluid was changed with pad install and replenished with Motul RBF600. I had planned to keep this car for a long time which is why i only used quality parts and oils, i spent months looking for the best condition, low km, example i could find. I have now decided to buy a GT-R instead. i'm asking for $8000, my loss can be your gain, total bill for modifications was $8000 and i paid significantly more than that for the car only 3 years ago. I'm keen for a quick sale which is why i'm selling for this price, it does not come with a RWC and the price is not negotiable. Minor cosmetic damage such as crack in front bar and small marks on rear corner (see photos) Test drives will be at my discretion and only when proof of funds are sighted. The Facts; 1997 Nissan Skyline S2 GTS-t 40th Anniversary Model Manual 150,xxx kms ACT Rego until August 2013. Car located in Phillip, ACT. Price: $10k Number: 0405 332 987 Call after 6pm or text during the day please This car is in excellent condition for its year. Goes and sounds great! I purchased the car last november in NSW and I'm only selling it as I fancy a change - I don't usually even keep a car this long. It has been professionally lowered (by previous owner - passed inspection in ACT no problem). It has 18" mags as shown in the pics with 225 tyres in the front and 265 on the rear - which were brand new when I bought it last year. It also has an after market dumpvalve but, apart from that and some Nismo(fake) seatcovers, this car is completly standard. The interior is immaculate, and kept that way with the seatcovers and regularly cleaned. The body of the car has some very minor blemishes - all of which happened before I bought the car. A carpark rash on the rear driver wing and some minor marks above the exhausts are the most noteworthy, but again, very minor. I can have these fixed no problem if a deposit is given on the car. I had great plans to have them fixed but just didn't get around to it - yet. The car flew through the roadworthy, only had to change some bulbs and wiper washer bottle! Goes to show how clean and reliable this car is. I'm in absolutely no rush to sell the car so no low-ballers need apply! Also, as i don't fancy some young gun flinging the back end in to a wall, so I'll be doing the piloting on any test drive. Price is slightly negotiable for a genuine buyer. Just fancy a change so I'm also open to part/ex for something nice - no Holdens or Fords though - Euro or Jap only.
