  1. Selling the RB26 long block out of my 1999 Stagea S2 260rs restomod project. Basically planning to replace the long block with a Tomei/N1 RB28 stroker, but keep all the ancillaries to take it back to stock if need be. Car has done 200k kms, but has good compression (>160psi) on all cylinders, and has good oil pressure with Penrite 10-50. I've just replaced the belts and water pump. Can get my mechanic (an independent Nissan GTR specialist) to confirm. Will include sump, valve, ignition and timing covers. Won't include intake manifold, ITBs, exhaust manifolds, turbos, clutch etc. The car is running nicely and I'm happy to take people for a test drive in Sydney. Looking for $12,000 but negotiable.   2. Hey guys. Need to get the head machined, as a leak down test showed some major leaking coming from the exhaust valves in cylinders 5 and 6. Im looking at upgrading the cams, valve springs, and they will replace the usual little bits and pieces as part of a head refurbishment. Any other things I should do while the heads off?
  3. Hi members Happy New Year My skyline has no power. It's a straight line 6 cylinders non turbo engine. The first 5 cylinders have low compression. The fifth one is just 10 psi. The sixth one is ok. No slippage of the timing belt. I have removed all necessary bolts to remove the head except 3 allen type bolts on the engine head. The allen bolt heads seem rusted as these bolts are out of the rocker area in between the two cams and not exposed to the engine oil. They are very stubborn and one of them got stripped out. I request the members to guide me to undo the bolts. Will using the extractor method work? If no, can I weld a nut to the bolt to ease the job? Please answer.

Hi, i have a rb25de head that has just been fully rebuilt for a turbo, new uprated turbo valve springs and titanium retainers, new valve collets and new seals, valves have been ground for multi angle, surface has been fully machined and crack & flow tested, all ports have been cleaned up, it was going to be used for a rb25deT neo but things happen and plans change, comes with stock cams and solid buckets with shims. Come grab an absolute bargain for this weekend only im willing to part with it for a minimum of $800 firm.. cost more just for the parts let alone the labour cost for machining and all.. located in geelong Victoria and can be sent anywhere at BUYER'S cost..

  7. Hi. I think my cylinder head has a crack in it, as i started seeing coolant in one of the heads cavities near intake manifold. So im thinking of getting a new one. Question is, which ones fit? Its rb25det neo engine with a turbo. The rest of the car is pretty much stock. Will r33 rb25det head do the job? What other options do i have? Or may the leak be coming from somewhere else? I have a very poor picture of the spot where the coolant is (1st cylinder from the front of the car, right above intake manifolds bolts). Leak is excessive enough to drip on the alternator from there, but i can't notice any coolant level drops in radiator or expansion tank.

  10. Hey everyone, I recently discovered that my camshaft had been over tighten when installing the head back on my motor. This caused the camshaft to bind and SNAP. Anyway, so now the front cam cradle is roughly .003in lower than the rest of the head after machining the scratches. So now I need a new head, as I looked online, I seemed to find a lot of RB25DET Neo heads but no series 1 or series 2 heads. Is it possible to switch everything over to the neo head and bolt it up to a series 1 block? If not, does anyone have a good condition series 1 or 2 head for sale? Thank you!
  11. RB26 (R32) Head (unused since reco'd). Fully reco'd with new K-Line valve guides, 3 angle seat job, refaced, acid bathed. It looks brand new! The head is fully assembled and complete (standard cams, springs, buckets and shims). Valve clearances have been fully reset back to correct clearance with new shims. Also has new valve stem seals as well (obviously!). The head is still wrapped up in the packing from the reconditioning shop where it was done (Headspec in Clayton). Bolt it on and away you go! $1500 plus post ($100 Australia wide)
  12. RB25DET head for sale Note: This head has been modified to suit a RB30 Bottom end, whilst Retaining VCT (PROPERLY!) Head work Completed: - Full clean up - New welsh & oil plugs, - Decked - Crack Tested - Straightness Tested - Full Valve Cut - New Set of Valve Stem Seals - Certain Plugs welded as per high HP requirements - Weld and Fit new VCT Boss - Weld and Shut front Oil Feed to head (this head owes me $1800) Story: First motor I ran in failed, this Head was on it. The Head had some alloy in it from the oil pump. The head has been cleaned out, and came up good, but I would recommend probably be cleaned again for good measure and plugs replaced. I would also recommend new lifters as the lifters that were in it obviously will have some ally inside, so would recommend new lifters. (I have cleaned them and they seem ok and have put th em in their original positions, however, I wouldn't take the chance if it was me) can sell with original cams (that were not in the motor when it failed and they are in VGC, these are the original cams from this Head, the cams that were on the head were tomei ones. The cam bearings and cap shells got scuffed a bit, but Linished up well and are within spec. (feel free to re-measure) I wanted to keep the head as a spare, and if no one buys I definitely will, else... Asking $650 ono. Item is in Brisbane, Pickup only. Hi guys, got a r34 GT-T NEO, checked my coolant this morning and it is dark brown. there was a little bit of sludge on the bottom of the radiator cap and i put my finger in the coolant to find really small traces of oil. from my experience when the head gasket is blown the coolant is a lot worse, but I'm not a mechanic. i have checked a lot of other forums but can't get any specific info that matches up to my issue. i have had the car for 6 months and there has been no problems with cooling system it always sits just under half. Not sure if the following information will be valid but over the weekend i took off the stock turbo and put a high flowed VL turbo, i used my old waste gate and bolted it to 2 plates that were bolted to the side of the compressor housing, i assumed the plates were flexing because it wasn't boosting very well. i then changed the plates to something a bit more sturdy and took it for a drive, on my old turbo i was running 12 psi and when i tested this new turbo it boosted to 17 psi i then straight away turned the boost down to 8 psi. could this have caused me to blow the head gasket when it over boosted?
  14. R32 RB26 head Guys this head has only been on a car for 2 tunes and about 10 laps at winton. I kept having issues with the RB30 bottom end. It was just rebuild and is sitting at the engine machinists now. Specs 1mm Oversized valves on IN and EX tommie cam cap bolts Brass valve guides HKS stage 2 cams 272/10.2 Welded on Rear oil return Tomie valve springs Ported Decked Hot tanked Adjustable cam gears ARP exhaust studs Head and bottom end made 330rwkw on 12psi last tune with very little timing. Not sure on price as this thing has costs $1,000's to build. So im open to offers on it RB34 Stroker crank Bought from spool imports, regrettable sale as i just need the cash atm. BRAND NEW still in box $2000 PAR RB30 Conrods Used for about the same time as the head was. In great condition $500 Garret GT3540 turbo Has rear housing coated in Jet Hot coatings 2000 series ceramic heat coating to ensure lower under bonnet temps In good nic have kept oiled while out of the car. Needs external waste gate. $1200 Greddy Coilovers Type-S R32 Gts-t coilovers with std springs and a spare set of 10KG front springs. in good condition used for about 20 laps at winton. No signs of leaking and no damage at all Comes with the electronic damper control system $1100 Nismo Twin plate Clutch assembly and 2 brand new plates for it. I have not had time to put the 2 together But the clutch will be near new once done. New plates cost $500 to get from japan $1000 Lenso D1-R rims 18inch rim, 10 inch wide, -1 offset PAIR in silver, Rubber on them is no good. $400 I am open to all reasonable offers on these items. They are all located in woodend victoria. However i can bring them to hawthorn on a weekend for pickup.
  15. Guys and Gals, I have for sale a set of 4 TE37s in 17 x 9.5" with a +12ish offset (not 100% sure). They have been resprayed in satin black (were originally bronze as the back side of the face has not been sprayed and you can see it), and they have nismo decals instead of the Rays Engineering and TE37 ones. All four rims have light rash and a few paint chips on the spokes, as whoever had them before me obviously couldnt drive to save their life, however in saying that, they could be easily repaired. No dents or buckles, they roll true. They come free with a set of shagged Toyo R888, as i used them as my track rims. Had them on my white R32 GTR and it looked tough as. Will no longer be needing them as doing a brake upgrade and they wont fit inside the rims anymore, so they gotta go. Price $2000 or best offer.   17. Cleaning out my garage before moving house. Got the following up for sale.... R32 GTR Gearbox - Push type (see photos) Came out of GTR done approx 90,000 kms. I originally planned to convert to RWD but ended up buying an RB25 box instead. Includes shifter and all sensors etc. Box was perfect when it came out of car. Been sitting in my garage covered up for about a year. $500 R32 GTR Head - including cams, covers, CAS, coilpacks, head bolts. Planned to build RB26/25 with this but never got around to it. Happy with my 25 now as cant afford to build the 26/25 hybrid. Cams have been removed but are included with the head. As are all covers, CAS, coilpacks. It would need a good clean and some maintenance done as has been sitting in garage (covered up) for about a year. $900 R32 GTR Intake Plenum and Throttle Bodies - Currently still attached to head but removable upon request. $250 R32 GTR stock turbos inc. manifolds - Currently still attached to head. Were working fine when taken off the car. I have not checked the shaft play. Can do this upon request. $250 R32 GTR stock airbox. Also have 1 air flow meter. Not sure if it works or not.   20. RB25DET Neo head with crank angle sensor located in Sydney, $500. Whether you are planning on building an RB30 slapper or using a RIPS bottom end or building your own this is the best head to use. You get solid lifters and smaller combustion chamber volume which brings up the static compression nicely if using standard RB30 pistons.
  21. Up for sale is an r33 rb25det head, 99% complete - comes with manifolds, injectors, rail, cams, rocker covers. Only things I can see missing are the coilpacks. Head does have VCT. Apparently came off a low km r33, supplied by Hyderdrive in Malaga. Was going to do a 25/30 but decided on a neo head instead. Pickup Willetton, WA. Or will post at buyers expense.
  22. Hi all. Before anyone tells em to search, i have searched and have come up with so many different answers it's unbelievable. > RB25 head going on to RB30 block. > RB20/25 ARP 2000 head stud kit. RB25 service manual states tightening in increments, loosening off to zero, then tightening to 25-34 NM and then angle tightening 90-100 degrees. ARP kit says to install the studs hand tight into the block, put the head on and then lubricate the "stud threads, nuts and washers" with the provided assembly lubricant, then tightening the nuts in 3 equal steps to 108 NM. Now i have a few questions about the procedure. Are you supposed to put the assembly lube onto the stud thread before you put it into the block? Do the studs really just get put into the block hand tight? (Some people use the a hex key and tighten the stud before putting the nut on, which makes sense to me) I know this isn't *really* supposed to go in the forced induction section but as i am assembling the engine ATM i hope this will generate the quickest responses. Thanks all.

As the title states, i'm looking to buy a complete rb26 head to build a 26/30. must be in good condition and come with all covers, also after a standard intake side to suit and the engine loom. don't want or need the exhaust side.
