SAU Go-Karts Championship Round 1 and June Monthly Meet After a brief hiatus, on Wednesday June 14th we'll be kicking off the 2017 SAU Vic Go-Kart Championship. We'll be starting with one of the favourite venues from last years championship, Karting Madness in Chirnside Park. https://goo.gl/maps/Xj9FJaAhkLF2 The round will consist of Qualifying session - 8mins Race - 40 Laps It's only one race, but this is the enduro of the season - last year everyone was seriously tested over a thrilling 40 lap race that came down to only the last couple of laps! Kart Info - European built Sodi kart, 9 horsepower, 4 stroke, 270CC, powered by a Honda engine, up to 80km/h Track Info - Over 600m of track with fast straights, tight turns, technical corners and plenty of overtaking opportunities! The track surface is a polished concrete, and the karts slide around and get to the limit of grip more so than other venues making Karting Madness an extremely satisfying challenge and a lot of fun!
