Hey all. Had a bit of a scare today with my R34 GTT when i flicked on the tail/parker lights, and some wiring started going up in smoke under the dash. The fuse didnt blow, it just melted the casing of the fuse so must have been a crap fuse? Previous owner did alot of wiring, some of which is quite sub par and the fuse that melted was definitely newer than the other ones that were in the fuse box, but didnt seem that he touched the wires that mainly got melted. Anyway may need a small section of a new loom, is there lots of similarities between the turbo and non turbo looms especially for under the dash stuff? The wired that got friend go into a 6 pin relay under the dash. The non turbo ones are less than half the price here from a wrecker and all i would need it the section that got fried and any other wires that are affected. Thanks in advance

Attached is an Excel document which I painstakingly put together by hand, as I found some R34 GTT diagrams out on the internet either completely unavailable (bodyloom/m53/f3 plug) or unreliable (ecu pinouts) Ive sacrificed an entire engine loom to get this mapped out correctly and Ive taken the liberty to add in all wire colours. The first worksheet in the document is of what I call the 'body loom' plug or 'M53' or 'F3' plug if you are familiar with other Nissan looms. This takes all input/output from the ecu to non-engine related things. In the case of the R34 this is things like the auto trans control, traction control, dashboard outputs and inputs and power/switch feeds and triggers. I required a pinout of this plug as when going a full wire-in aftermarket ECU, many of your connections will be made at this plug. Nowhere on the internet could I find a correct pinout of one of these for an R34 GTT. The second worksheet in the document is a standard ER34 (auto) ECU pinout, with all pins labelled as to their function and also the wire colour. Enjoy, I hope this helps anyone who needs it. Hey mystic legendary gods I was just wondering what type of loom do i run ? I have got a r32 gts which now has a rb20det in it what im upgrading to a rb26det (all r32 engines) do put in a rb26dett engine loom ? if any1 could help u would be major help thanks

all items located in blakeview SA - RB25DET motor that has been previously opened as I intended to forged rebuild it, I had to move interstate so I loosely bolted it back together as the moving company wouldn't move an engine but they would move the car with or without it. the engine does need to be rebuilt and will come with new rings and bearings, the intake manifold, throttle body, nismo 555cc injectors, a tomei cam gear on the exhaust side, gates racing timing belt. the motor was on 107xxxKM before it was stripped. the motor DOES need to be re built $700 ONO or 800 with crane and stand I also have a few other parts as well: -extreme 6 puck solid button clutch with a extra heavy duty pressure plate, used but in near new condition - $300 ONO -SPOOL H beam forged conrods to suit RB25 and 26. - $500 ONO - SCA engine crane and stand, for both $250 ONO -standard RB25 coil packs. $50 ONO - R33 RB25 engine loom. $50 ONO - all off RB25: starter motor power steering pump alternator aircon pump flywheel R32 engine mount brackets STD AFM cam angle sensor clutch fan ↑ all $20 each or make an offer I am open to offers but please don't waste my time with ridiculous offers, feel free to ask any questions PM me on here to get in touch

Hey guys, first time posting in the forum. Firstly, I have a v35 sedan 300gt limited with a vq30dd motor. The car runs super rich, suffers a misfire and struggles to start when hot, as well as going into limp mode. I have changed plugs, coils, maf, cam and crank sensors, replaced pcv and all vac lines, used upper cylinder head cleaner (I know the design get dirty as hell), scrubbed all carbon deposits and resealed all gaskets, i have a spare ecu. All this and I still can't get it to run nicely. Was wondering if anyone else has some ideas for me to get it to run and if not, wondering what the compatibility of the vq30dd loom is to a 35de? Kinda sick of trying to find parts for this obscure motor and worst case I'd potentially swap a 35de into it but I'm unsure how compatible the looms are and wether that is a massive job in of itself? Any and all help would be appreciated, cheers.

Hi guys! I've got an itch to develop a plugin for my M35 2.5DET. It will use an Adaptronic 1280 ECU and a patch harness. The ecu selection will be because I'm pretty familiar with Adaptronic's now days, and also because the 1280 has an unlimited scope for programming auxillary outputs. This can be used to drive the auto ecu, dash stuff and anything else required. The 1280 is fairly special in it's function block approach to aux programming. Hardware wise, I will need a ECU (can be damaged I only need the plug/internal pins). Instead of plugging the stock ECU in, it will have the plug and then wiring off to 1280 instead. I will develop a loom and tune while retaining all the standard functions of the stock ECU. While I am there I will create a detailed pinout of the ECU as well as a value table for each pin (voltages, signal etc) Does anyone have a broken ECU laying around, or knowledge of where the plugs are available from? Can someone clarify if I can use any 3.5/2.5L ECU, they should have the pins just no internals if the pin is un-utilised for that model. Cheers, Jase

Need help! I have recently had my r33 converted from auto to manual. And have lost speedo which means no power steering. and a few other things like oil pressure, but just put an after market one in I read alot about people loosing powersteering but no one says how they solved it! It might have something to do with series 1 and 2 looms? If anyone knows please help me out!! Thanks ^_^

R34 Gt 25det install Hi Guys, New to the forum but have not had much luck elsewhere. Basically I am putting an rb25det neo into an r34 gt coupe I have a full import motor with complete gtt loom as well as gt loom from the rb25de that was pulled out of the car Does anyone have any insight as to what I can do to either of these looms to get them to run the 25det neo motor Thanks,

R34 wiring help Hey so I have one plug on my r34 and I can't figure out what it's for, it's the brown one in the photo and it comes off with the oil pressure switch on the alternator loom, anyone have any ideas?

NEED HELP RB20DET HIGH RPM MISFIRE Hey guys i was hoping to get some assistance i own a R32 GTS-T had a blown head gasket at that point could still rev to red line... now i have had the car repaired changed the head gasket water pump timing belt and kit all drive belts had the head machined cleaned and crack tested arp head bolts added brand new iridium spark plugs brand new splitfire coils and a new coil loom etc car is all back together now starts perfect feels fine but when u give it a good rev starts mising at 6000rpm only things i realy havent changed are igniter afm or exhaust im hoping some of you may be able to assist with some ideas or if you are local to even come out and look over it with me this is my first skyline so i am new to the scene but if what i have stated here isnt enough feel free to ask me direct questions id be happy to brain storm thanks guys!

Hi all, I’m planning on chucking an rb25de series 2 package in my 1992 gts r32. It comes with loom ecu etc but I was wondering if I would still need to change anything around to accomodate for the different series engine. I’m currently running... well was running an rb25de series 0. Cheers ?

Okay so I have a r33 NA rb25de motor/ gearbox that I’ll be putting in a turbo r33 shell and was just wondering if I can use the same loom or will I have to change it to the NA one ?
