Anyone had this issue before?: i was trying to bleed the attessa (r33 gtr vspec) and the strange issue that I have is that the bleed mode of the pump does not work. Ive done it 2 years ago and it was working. so when i disconnect the white connector under the dash the pump only starts if i turn ignition on, but when opening the bleeders it wont start on loss of pressure. if the connector is connected the pump won't do anything no matter what. also strange is that there is only very little fluid coming through the diff bleeder, as there is no pressure. On the other hand there is good pressure on the transfercase bleeder. I have no ECU connected, never touched any wiring on the attessa sytem and fluid level is ok. anyone can help?

Thought I would post up my thoughts from my last track day on Wednesday @ the QR sprints Previously every track day I have been to in my V35 I have always left the car in D mode with the PWR button pressed as the triptronic mode was far too laggy to be of any use I recently had the transgo shift kit installed and was interested to see what sort of a difference it would make I found that there were some pros and cons when it comes to trying to get your quickest time with the shift kit fitted compared to stock The kit was good in the fact that I could drive the car like a manual in triprtonic mode and actually benefit from some sort of engine braking + the shifts happened for the most part in triptronic mode when I wanted them to unlike how the auto box behaves when its stock I also managed to shave .16 off my best lap time however the improvement is somewhat on the small side that it could be attributed to a number of factors other than the shift kit The negative, although I considered it more fun than negative was that the harder/faster shifts turned the car into a powerslide machine if I wasn't careful or more so if I wanted it to when shifting from 2nd to 3rd. This was with 245 Toyo R888 semi slicks on the back not so good for lap times however I'm half keen to take the car to a Friday night drift session with some stocko 17's on the back given how easy it was to slide with the semi slicks on Don't forget I am running an LSD unlike 99.999% of the other auto V35s out there

Selling a used BNR32/BCNR33/BNR34 GT-R ATS&ACROSS Carbon 1.5-way LSD. I bought this with the intention to use it in my Silvia but I ran out of time and never got round to buying a matching set of GTR driveshafts and hubs to go with it. Hence it has been sitting in my garage in an oiled bag unused since. For those who don't know, these are the absolute best LSDs available in the Japanese market. They are used on many top-level time-attack cars such as the Revolution, R-Magic and RE Amemiya RX-7s, Tomei S15, Amuse/Autobacs/ASM S2000s, etc. They don't chatter like metal LSDs, last way longer, are more predictable and provide faster times. Some info from ATS: Principal characteristics of the Carbon LSD - More than twice the differential lock strength of metal LSDs - Quiet operation without chattering noise - More than twice the differential lock strength of metal LSDs - Low initial drag resistance and durability that is more than 5 times greaterthan metal - Acceleration control range more than 10 times that of metal LSDs - More than 30 times the thermal decomposition resistance of metal LSDs - More than 70 times the service life of metal LSDs - Gentle transitional characteristics that yield ease of handling from free to lock - Small degree of slipping which provide a greater flexibility - Super durable - Stable differential lock performance which is unaffected by oil temperature changes - The performance of carbon LSD is not influenced by a choice of LSD oil - Very high adaptability to many LSD oils from different manufacturers Carbon LSD is recommended for those who suffer from the following problems. - I can not pass through the clipping point ideal corner entry. - I want to quickly open the accelerator at the rising edge of the corner. - Control of under-over is difficult at the rising edge of the corner. - oil temperature rises there is no durable for use at low initial. - Time-up can not be time is not stable. - How do I get rid of noise of LSD - You want to keep as natural as possible handling Reliability ATS ran their demo S15 for 65,000km around the clock around mountain roads over six months. When they pulled down the LSD the plates still had near-new thickness and the torque of the LSD was still near-new. "The ATS demo R34 GT-R has 140,000km on the current LSD, but the LSD is working beautifully with only oil changes. We think it can go for 200,000 to 300,000 km since there is no detectable deterioration in performance." Someone please buy this and put it to good use as it's useless sitting my garage. Leaking R35 GTR Front Differential Hey guys, Ive recently purchased my first GTR, its a 2010 model and my mechanic has found a small leak from the front diff...normally this wouldn't be a huge issue but we cant for the life of us find out where its coming from. The parts diagram I have attached shows where the leak originates from, none of the areas of the diff that have any kind of gasket or seal are wet, it seems to simply start out of nowhere and then run towards the diff snout, its been cleaned a couple of times and the leak comes back. If it was a crack or a break it would have demolished the diff case by now surely? Is it possible the aluminium housing has become porous? Any ideas/thoughts/experiences are appreciated

WTB: R200 Diff backlash adjustment shims Hi all, Rebuilding my diff and need some shims to reduce the amount of backlash. Will try nissan spare parts tomorrow, but maybe someone has a collection? Shims needed are 2.60, 2.65 and 2.15, but I would be happy if you had one or all sizes. BTW> these arent the shims used to lock the diff, these are the big metal rings that go next to the diff bearings (like the pic). Pickup in VIC or will pay for express ship. thnx. Adrian.,

After an R200 LSD must have 4.3 gears non abs 5 bolt prefer if it has 4 bolt rear cover (r32/s13/etc) dont mind if welded or not located VIC, north subs melbourne thank you

WTB: R33 LSD Diff Hey guys. Chasing a 1.5-way or 2-way LSD to suit an R33 GTST S2 (ABS) Anything good condition will be considered. Diff centre alone is fine but if it comes in a housing that's good too. NISMO, KAAZ, etc. Preferably located Sydney but will pay for shipping for a decent priced diff.

Abs vs non abs Working on my r33 gtst - rb25 Just finishing off an engine swap & manual conversion and unsure about a couple things. I've swapped everything from one r33 without abs into another 33 with abs. I was just going to swap all the diff and manual tailshaft into the car with abs but the current diff has abs sensors and an abs auto tailshaft (unsure if there are abs and non abs tailshafts) but anyway, my question is can I just unbolt the auto tailshaft connected to the abs diff vlsd and bolt in my manual tailshaft and be good to go? If that won't work, if I put my non abs lsd diff in, in what way will Abs be affected as the sensors won't be connected?

Hi Guys, I have for sale a used late model R32 GTR R200 4.11 ratio rear diff with a Cusco 2 way mechanical LSD centre. The centre is to suit 31 spline half shafts, but the diff does not come with them. The lsd, gears and bearings look to be in really good condition. Will also come with the abs sensors. What you see is what you get. Located just south of Wollongong NSW. Would prefer pickup as you all know they are heavy, but can ship at your expense. $1600 plus postage.

Factory manual LSD removed from a 2003 V35 350GT 6 speed with 130,000km on it. This diff is in very good condition with no noises or vibrations - removed from a running vehicle, not a crashed or thrashed one. Diff is currently at my mechanic's workshop. We removed and replaced it with another one due to suspected diff bearing noise, however the noise persisted after the swap and turned out to be a wheel bearing instead. Cheap LSD upgrade for auto V35s, with a slightly shorter ratio for better acceleration. I believe it may fit the 350Z too (can't guarantee this). There are also conversion kits available to make these fit S/R chassis vehicles (have to change tailshaft, though) as a strength/LSD upgrade. Can organise postage at buyer's expense or local pickup available from Melbourne west or south east. $350

I need help with what I should do with my diff it’s a Active LSD with a altessa pump system. It singles and I want to to double what can I do with this diff bleed it, weld it, get it shimmed, block off the altessa system? Idk what to do please help as I want to use my car for drifting / road use
