  1. Hi im looking to buy gtst coilovers and a rb25det if you have one message me on 0466 964 667. im located in melbourne
  2. G,day, Im after some knowledgable info. Car is a R33 GTST running M/T Street radials, with my "drag suspension" (stock shocks w/ standard height springs) installed in the rear the car has been raised about 50mm and has given me around 1 deg positive camber (roughly using a straight edge and calibrated eye). As it is a IRS car would this be fine to get near a 0 deg camber when it squats on launch. I know there is more to it than rough numbers but really all Im after is a good starting point and then start adjusting from there. Thanks, Mark.
  3. Rb25det head needs machining comes complete with two intake manifolds $250 ono rb high mount manifold $200 rb dump pipe $70
  4. need power fc or nistune ecu asap for my rb25det im located in vic contact luke on 0466 964 667
  5. It gives me great pleasure to announce that we are the New World Record holder for Fastest H-pattern Street Tyred GTR on the planet. After coming so close to the record last year at the 2012 Brisbane Jamboree with a 8.97 sec pass, we were in good contention to take the record, but in drag racing things fail and 3rd Gear decided to throw in the towel after having a promising half track time. This only left us 0.02sec off Theo's time and making us ever so hungry to achieve that goal. So we decided to head to Benaraby Dragway for the weekend for Round 3 of the CQDRA Championship to give the GTR a run. This is its first run since blowing the gearbox up at last years Jamboree in Sept. Now I really wanna give the guys and gals and Benaraby Raceway a huge wrap for the awesome event they held and the support they gave our car was unbelievable. The track condition was perfect, best I have seen if not better than Willowbank. They are doing a terrific job out there spending a lot a dollars to get that place up to spec. Great Job keep up the good work. Before I go into too much detail. I got to give our Main Man Mr Mark Jacobsen from Godzilla Motorsport a huge thank you, for all he has done for us, his support and knowledge has been unbelievable without his over the phone late night support that night this would never have been possible without him. Proud to part of the Godzilla Motorsport Team. Secondly another huge thank you to Dave Sheehy at CPV Tuning, for his continual help for the team, his valuable knowledge and input helped us immensely. Ok to the runs, we not only broke Theo Woollett's previous World record 8.95sec @ 159 Mph which has stood for over 6yrs put we managed to back I up 4 times in a row, completely smashing it out of the ball park. 1st pass - 8.91 sec @ 152Mph with a 1.33 sec 60ft 2nd pass - 8.65 sec @ 150Mph with a 1.23 sec 60ft 3rd pass - 8.59 sec @ 152Mph with a 1.27 sec 60ft 4th pass - 8.52 sec @ 162mph with a 1.30 sec 60ft With that said and done we are now gonna chase down the next record which is (correct me if i'm wrong) the CV Performance R32 GTR which currently hold the record at 8.47 sec. For the fastest radial GTR in the world with and gearbox setup. That puts us at 0.05sec behind, can we do it, hell yeah we can gonna be an exciting year stay tuned for updates. Here is the pic of the golden ticket And a couple of Vids:
  6. I am slowly building up my S15 with a 2J / automatic trans and I want to use it for some 1/4 action with some street comfort to drive it to and from the track. Not interested in drifting or circuit racing. I have the standard rear sub-frame, the only things I have changed is the diff, axles and hub assembly from an R33 GTR. I am wanting to keep the S15 handbrake assembly and rear caliper, reason as I am under the impression that I could possibly run a smaller rim with bigger tyre if that makes sense? Would someone like to share some knowledge on what I should be changing and upgrading in terms of control arms, bushes ect? Maybe some of the GKTECH products?
  7. Hey guys, my next step with my 33 is some alignment work. Has anyone got a some alignment specs that have worked well for them while staying as a road rego'd common use car? I dont mind what happens to comfort or tyre wear... Caster Camber Toe
  8. i have noticed a few cars on here and in other forums running stock motors (internals) but have bolt on mods - and ppl are running NOS - for example if your running 300kw rb25det plus a shot of NOS how much more damage/ AND RISK IS THIS? i see these guys are consistantly running drags, with simlar set ups. is this worth the money / risk. my car will see a drag stripp once or twice a year - and hopefully powercruise so it will not be getting thumpped that often- just after opinions and experience
  9. So I want to take my drift car to the drag strip. I'm just going to put some stock suspension in the rear and put on some drag radials. It's currently running -0.5 camber on the rear but standard suspension will raise it 70-80mm. Its an R32 with rb25, 370rwkw. Ill have a spare pair of driveshafts. Will it strip gears with hard launches and slicks? Do I need standard suspension in the front? Currently running coilovers. Do I need a cage? (Adelaide) Thanks in advance
  10. Great news now i can start running my car without getting kicked out ever time i get a clean pass... This will help with those crazy ass street racers aswell... http://www.showticksecure.com/willowbank/VenueNet/_uploads/FCKeditor/file/pdfs/2011%202012%20season%20info/2011%20-%20NEW%20STREET%20REGULATIONS_Final_291111.pdf
  11. Hey guys, Here is some footage i got of my buddies R35 GTR. Hope you enjoy!
  12. Ok as part of the ARC Forum Battle - SAU is looking for represenatives to take out the DRAG section. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/381974-arc-car-forum-battle-sau-represent-2012/ RESTRICTIONS: Car must run DOT approved Radials SUPP REGS (partial): http://forumbattle.com.au/drag/ http://forumbattle.com.au/regulations/ ENTRY LIMIT: 4 cars from SAU. The regs IMO cannot be complete as there is a lot still missing. So at present I'm assuming at this stage it means DOT approved radials, given you could legally use them on the street. COSTS: SAU will cover 50% of the entry fee - so $75 only I'm sure there are some that could run a solid 9.XX pass on DOT approved radials and bring home the trophy for SAU Who out there fits the bill? Do you know someone that is a SAU User, but doesn't browse SAU every day? Post up users, cars whatever - need to know and start organising like... Yesterday!
  13. Hi All, just wondering what kinda car you would all prefer for drifting and why, i have done a little reading about them and i read that R33's arent too bad because the weight is quiet evenly distributed throughout the car but also i saw someone saying the R32 is better, i dont know why though, if i got the R32 i would most likely put the RB25DET in it with the standard ceramic turbo for the mean time and run it at 9PSI koz at first it would be pretty standard, just the usual mods like FMIC, 3" HI Flow cat back, strut bars and coil covers oh an probably put a HICAS Lock bar in it too. but yeah at the moment i have an R33 thats mildly modded but i dont want to ruin it because its my daily, but if someone can tell me what kinda car would be good and why that would be great, i want to stick to nissan's though. also someone said 180sx apparently isnt that great because there not so easy to a beginner for drifting. Thanks all =]
  14. Hey Guys Names Yohann, only 16, I've grown up with cars love them, love Gran Turismo and I can't wait until I get my P's. I'm just wondering what I need to cover if I were to make a drift car? I really want to take drifting up I heard it's expensive maintaining the car? Would buying a second hand car be cheaper or just getting the shell and then doing a engine swap? How does the insurance work with a drifting car, it's not road legal is it? Would it be difficult doing so since I'll be on my P's? because I aim to get this done from 18+ And of course I'll be taking lessons before I get the car! Thanks for your help in advance, Yohann

  19. Anyone know what the quickest 1/4 mile ET an R32 or R33 GTR has run on a stock box?
  20. AMS R35 GTR runs quickest and fastest 1/4 mile ET and TS for an R35 GTR:
  21. Scott Porter drove his VQ35DETT-powered G35 Infiniti to a world record 6.48 @ 216mph yesterday at Sydney Dragway. This is the baby motor and Scott is still learning the ropes. The quickest he'd gone before this car was 12.5 in his Valiant!
  22. Wanna go back to the drags but only got chinese tyres which also are old n hard. But need some new tyres, better quality an newer, was considering some KU36's. first time i went to willowbank ran some falken 452's an managed a best of 1.59 60ft. would ku36's give better traction? Problem i can see is i dont know how to warm the tyres, so would cold ku36's be any grippier then falken 452's? as i noticed last time as it got latter in the nite n cooler my 60ft times were slowly getting worse, tho mph was goin up so the times stayed the same (11.7) also is there an easy way to warm ur tyres in an 33gtr? any experience or advice/tips would be greatly appreaciated =)
