  1. my wife was driving my car and left the garage door open with the blistering sun beating down on it all day 😬 just below the passenger side headlight...
  2. Hey guys! We're Junsei Auto Parts from Sydney and we remake discontinued interior trim, 1:1 identical to OEM quality. We've been bringing back discontinued interior trim for the R32 and JZA80 Supra. So far we've remade the R32 Stereo Fascia Surround and the Dash Defrosters, pics below 👇 We're here to ask what discontinued parts do you want back? Not limited to any Skyline! Drop your suggestions and we'll see what we can do! Check out our R32 parts here: https://www.junseiautoparts.com/collections/nissan-skyline-r32
  3. Hey Guys, I know this is a Skyline but watching the restoration of such a pricless car is amazing! So my buddy over in the US has detailed one of the rarest Ferrari's around. The car is worth $1,000,000 and was in some serious need of restoration. Preventing your car from getting to this condition is always important as Larry talks about in his video sometimes you just cant tell how much paint is left on a car. It's a long video but super cool and well worth a look hope you guys enjoy.

  5. hi everyone: My white 34's door starting to turning into yellow, because of it age? Would like to ask what product can I use to restore the color. Thank you.
  6. Hi Everyone, Just completed headlight restoration on an Integra Type R and thought I'd share the results. You can see from the before pictures what sort of condition they were in prior to restoration. The process in short - 1) Wet sand - 1200 / 2000 grit 2) Compound - Meguiars M105 (DA buffer) 3) Polish - Meguiars M205 (DA buffer) 4) Seal - Meguiars headlight protectant If done correctly, as per the photos - you should end up with a 'like new' crystal clear finish with no sanding marks - etc. The 4th step is essential to stop the yellow from reoccurring. Whenever I polish - I also run another layer of wax / protectant on the headlights as well to prevent this. Enjoy. 1) BEFORE - 1) AFTER - 2) BEFORE - 2) AFTER - 3) BEFORE - 3) AFTER -
  7. Hi All, For those who bother doing it, what products do you use for detailing your wheel arches? The standard cleaning part I just use generic products and brushes, however for the next step I'm currently looking at two products to bring out the shine - '303 Aerospace' and 'Meguiars All Season Cleaner'. There are up and down sides to both - 303 Aerospace is water based so as soon as it gets wet, its pretty much gone. Approx $25 a bottle. Can also be used on engine bays with fantastic results. For me, the fact that it does not last too long is not an issue my the car is always washed once a week without fail. All Season Cleaner is a Meguiars product with a great reputation however would have to get this imported from the UK @ approx $100 a bottle. I'll probably end up trying out both, as they both appear to meet my requirements for one thing or another - but interested in any personal experiences with this. Thanks.
  8. Hey guys just wondering if people had any tricks to getting really baked on brake dust off? was thinking about using some fine sandpaper, not sure what the outcome of that would be any suggest would be awesome, thanks
  9. Was walking towards my car during my lunch break at work. I had parked my car in a spot where a u turn is possible because the island in the middle of the two lane ends there. I know it's not the smartest place to park but it was almost a 4 lane road and cars are always parked there! Anyway, some dumbsh*t was trying to make a u-turn in a 4WD, something like a land cruiser. The reason i don't know exactly what the car was is because it didn't occur to me at first that he had touched my car, i was around 50m away walking across lanes to get there (road is not busy at all), he hit the brakes hard and that made more noise than him actually hitting the car so i never heard it, I just suspected it. The guy spotted me walking in his direction, he knew i witnessed what happened so he floored it down the road, i got to my car ( walking quickly at this point ) and noticed what he had left behind, my heart rate spiked . I got in the car and gunned it, didn't even let the poor girl warm up! =[, she was hesitating at first but she picked up after the first left turn 100m away, however by then the guy was out of sight ( its either a left turn or right turn but i didn't know which one he took), i chose to turn left and gunned it up the road but never saw him again, i had to get back to work too so that was the end of it. Basically this is what i'm left with, after cleaning the area up. I'm lucky that's all that happened, paint isn't damaged much, its the panel. I do not want a re-spray, the way i see it my options are: Repair it, take it to a shop or get a mobile dent romval business to come and fix it. Change the panels, get a new door and guard. Can't think of many more options at the moment. Anyone got an idea of what to do from here? How bad does it look (in terms of difficulty to repair and so on..)? There wasn't a ding on the car before this =[, she was soooo clean!
  10. Alright I know this has been covered, but I have just used a product which I don't think has been covered here yet and I wanted to show what it can do. First a before picture (I forgot to take one right before the clean!), you can see the cloudiness on the drivers side lens. Now some after! The product is called Brasso and here it is: First try it in a small area (should be fine because all it did was clean the heck out of mine). Apply with a cloth, I used a microfibre cloth, let it dry to a haze (takes <10 seconds), then wipe it off with a clean cloth! Let me know how it goes, you can get the product from any supermarket I think, in the cleaning section. I don't know if all metal polishers work, all I know is this one did. I have not gone around to sealing the lens yet, but when I do I'll give it a clean again.
  11. Hi Guys, Bare with me on this one... I sold my skyline a few years back and purchase a black 2005 Ford Escape. Whilst over the last 3 years she has treated me so well, only once a year did i get my friend to give it a full detail, between that it was lucky to have maybe one/two washes per year. I had paint protection put on a while ago which kinda helps i guess. I just had some holidays and won my footy tipping so I installed some nice speakers and gave her a really detailed wash and she came up beautiful. It kinda rekindled my love for the mid range SUV. So now i am thinking of following in your footsteps, i dont want to go ALL out as lets admit it, its no GTR but a bit of TLC wouldnt go astray. So i used to wash, polish wax. 3+ years ago with the skyline but now I am really confused..... there is soo many options. Now i need your advice, I know that there are much better brands out there, however I am happy with justing Mothers and or Meguirs. I have just put a wash and wax of mothers from Repco and now wanting to know what next. I saw they a special on repco.com.au in their catalouge "Meguirs Paint Resoration Kit" for $44.99 Am i best taking back my wash and wax and getting this? It doesnt contain a polish though, it does contain a "compound" is that the same thing? All i was really after was the wash, polish, wax but as mentioned I am now soo confused for what used to be a nice day buffing the car and making it look good. So..... lead me in the right direction. Keep my budget under $50 if possible please. P.S. i have lots and lots of wheels cleaners and interior trim stuff so yeah, just the paint products advice would be great! I have read lots of the threads on here and have learnt a lot from all of you, clay bars being the main thing, would now love your thoughts on a good "general detail"
  12. Hi everyone, just want to ask can I apply the decal on top of the wax layer or should I apply it on the clear coat layer? will it damage the paint if I apply it on top of the clear coat?
  13. Recently picked up a set of LMGT4s from n15m0 and looking to respray them to black with bare lip. whats the best way of removing ALL of the paint and respraying it to black? I'm not too keen on sanding since I'd like to preserve the diamond cut lip. I also heard sandblasting or powder coating will weaken the wheels strength.
  14. Hi guys, Just wondering about cheapest place to purchase microfiber towels in bulk (10 pack or so)? I have found lots of places on ebay, but are you guys able to tell me if they are actually microfiber? And are they any good? Otherwise, where could you recommend going for cheap bulk buy of microfiber towels? Thank You
  15. Anyone had experience with clay bars as in good brands and clay lube or water based clay??
  16. This is a clients Lotus Exige S which was detailed and had Ceramic Pro 9H applied like the Superleggera. Once again this really demonstrates the amazing gloss levels this product brings and the car isnt even black! We were a little rushed so didnt have time for heaps of pics but there are enough to get the idea. Some Golfs in for some love also And the glamour shots Regards, Mitch www.immaculatereflections.com.au 0432 839 463
  17. Hey guys, I have recently used a turtle wax polish to clean my headlights, which worked great. The probelm is that there is some condensation and yellowing on the inside. I have heard a few stories on how to fix this, including heating the headlight cover off with a hairdryer to get inside. Has anyone got any ideas how to fix this without too much trouble? Bearing in mind i am 100% NOT mechanically minded?
  18. Had a look around and can't find what im looking for. Basically I want to know the best hands down product for cleaning/washing dirty engine parts. You know when they get old and scummy. I'll use a gearbox as an example. From looking like this.. Get it looking like this: To this. (If only it turned into a Holinger after cleaning). I realise it's not going to be prefect but if the best product is petrol and a brush well that's the answer. But someone might have found some awome product. Annnndddd GO!
  19. hey guys after getting my hands on some wrinkle paint yesterday i thought i was clean up my alternator and spray the case in wrinkle black was just wondering how hard is it to do and are they able to be pulled apart?? i know they have spring loaded parts so i didnt want to do anything yet

  22. How do you fix deep gouges on polished aluminum wheels? They are not painted just have the polished finish. Is there a filler with a finish that can look like a polished aluminum? I can sand the other scratches but the deep ones will leave low spots. Cheers
  23. Can anyone recommend a good rim cleaner? I tried the non acid meguiars stuff cause its on special at super cheap, but it didnt clean anything, may as well brush my teeth with it. I might try the normal stuff they have if its still on special Anyone got any recommendations? hopefully at a good price as im a tight bastard and im not a professional by any stretch of the term, so I just want something decent that does the job
  24. Looking for a A+ paint detailer that can rub back and polish a car. Would prefer SE suburbs
