Hey Guys so i finally got my dream car, the first car that i ever took notice of in my life, might get some shit off this but it was when paul walkers skyline poped onto the tv screen and i fell in love with the car, and here i am with my very own. Decided to name it Gigan named after one of the monsters in the Godzilla Universe, was going to go with Ghidorah but the name doesnt fit the number plate if i were to get one from my plates, here are pictures below, hopefully they are not terrible. Front what i was able to find out on the vin plate, the paint is original, this is a 2001 25GT GTV Series 2 (I dont know if the GTV Series 2 means anything) with 119xxx on the clock with an NA Neo Engine, Most of the car is stock, The Exhaust hasnt been touched, Front bumper is after market, Aftermarket Head Unit With Sub in Boot, Aftermarket enclosed box and pod filter, came with the original Maintenance Note, with Japanese manuals and infomation, (Kenwood, mine is jvc head unit, Viper security and a notebook) The guy who i bought it off threw in a Big aftermarket GT wing, short shifting kit, he put about 4 grand into it before he let it go to me, (New heavy duty clutch) He genuinely loved it and now its my job to do the same, any and all feedback would be appriciated. *Questions* Thought id get these out of the way so i dont pollute any other forums with questions done to death so if anyone ventures onto this thread they might be able to help me out* I put the vin through gtr registry and the vin says its turbo at the start then later on it says its not turbo, does this mean its turbo ready or something? Are the S Badges on this car actual skyline badges or are they silvia or aftermarket badges (Refer to steering wheel and the bottom of the engine photo for S badge on the mesh. The left hand side of my boot is more open than the right side and i dont want any moisture in there (Refer to close up boot photo) Any suggestions? Are there any cost efficient styling tips would anyone recommend, i quite like the black on blue look Getting alot of shit for my gutter rashed wheels, would you guys have any recommendations for replacement rims The Enclosed box stuck out to some, under investigation the bottom of it has a hole smaller than the actual air piping to the engine so it doesnt look like its sucking in enough air, any ideas would be appriciated here (Has a pod filter in it) Some engine parts are heat wrapped, i dont know if this is beneficial or not as its supposed to keep heat out but wouldnt that keep heat in? Just a jab, any thoughts

Hey all, new here and will be putting up a post shortly looking for advice. Had a couple cars with minor installs a few years back - last was an S14 with a pair of soundstream subs, alpine splits and an amp I can't remember... Sounded nice and clean. Hi All, We had to order some new merch this year and what I chose was a new lanyard style with a clip and two colour printing which Ben is modelling below. The other cool thing I got is Popsockets! I thought these were ridiculous until I started using my daughters phone with one and its so much more comfy to hold and you can get car holders for them too. Check out the video below. hi there, i'm hannes from germany. i fulfilled myself a long hauled dream and bought myself a r33 skyline. 6 hours before, i had sold my mk4 golf. the mk4 was more or less a full stance build. here some pics and video: the mk4 was simple diesel, then upgraded with the full anniversary kit. also got kw v1 coilovers and two years ago ordered custom seeker cx at work. also completely reworked the front and rear axis/frame and added some electiric features (like electric seats, electric folding mirrors and stuff like that). and 2 weeks ago picked up a skyline r33 gts-t s2. over the winter (what is your summer ;)) i will be doing a lot of maintenance work like fluids, brakes and clutch. after that, i want to bring the complete performance level of the car up by little steps over the time. as seen, i come from working on vw-cars and done there pretty much everything, but i had no prior contact with japanese cars, so will be more than happy and thankful for any help i'm getting. (sorry for bad english, not my first language)

hey everyone just looking for abit of some info recently just got my first skyline and is now registered im looking a doing a few thing to it if anyone can steer me in the wright direction eg brands i don't want the top of the line but i want reasonably priced quality stuff thanks again any help in appreciated also im located in the northern suburbs Melbourne * turbo timer * boost controller * remote start / alarm system / key less entry * front mount inter cooler * exhaust * front sway bar * suspension *after also if you can think of any other things i can do that isn't to expensive to boost performance thanks again sorry i am just new to this and would love to learn

Hi guys I've had my skyline close to 3 months now and so far i'm enjoying it. It's my second car and only turbo i've owned. 130k kms on the clock but who knows if this is true everything stock apart from turbo back exhaust and apexi coilovers. Looking to do a few performance mods over the months. Hoping to join the NSW crew soon

Hey guys, I'm in a little car group which just started off as a bunch of mates from high school which has evolved into a group of about 40+ enthusiasts with cars ranging from skylines to supras to silvias to hondas and so on. Each one of my close mates is in another more specific car group such as Supra Club Victoria and S-Chassis Club. Just wanted to know if there was any skyline dedicated groups or clubs that have regular meets and/or cruises. I've been looking for a while and can't seem to find any at all. Hey All I'm new here and have recently bought a series 1 RS Four stagea, I know these questions have probably been asked before but I hope you are can still willing to share some knowledge. 1. The button on the right side of my dash under the cluster, I'm assuming it's centre diff lock? 2. What are the widest widths and lowest offset wheels I can run without guard destruction (been there bad choice) I had some more but I forget I hope I can join your community and make some new friends. Hi Guys, Up for sale is my brand new-unopened Nismo RB26 Timing belt: From RHD Japan: The NISMO RB26DETT Engine Parts - Reinforced Timing Belt will work on any of the RB Series engines found in the Skyline`s, Cefiro`s, Cedric`s, Gloria`s, Stagea`s and Fairlady Z`s (RB26DETT, RB25DE(T) and RB20DE(T)).The belt surface is composed of a combination of Nylon and Kevlar. In addition, the cable core has been improved with high strength glass and the teeth/rubber has been improved with high saturation H-NBR. It is said that with these improvements the belt is 3~4 times less prone to cutting, 2~3 times stronger in resistance to heat, 3~4 times less prone to cracking and 2~3 times resistant to wearing.
