I bought this car way back in April 2003, it had only 34000kms on the clock. For the last 11 years its has been my pride and joy, well looked after, always garaged, oil change promptly every 5000kms with only Penrite products, currently running 15w-50 full synthetic engine oil. Has only ever been run on 98 octane fuel with NGK plugs, currently BKR6E-11 gapped 0.8mm. At 100000kms it had its appropriate service with Gates timing belt fitted. Never had any problems with the vehicle, has always run great! Apart from aftermarket modifications, the suspension bushes have been replaced, new steering arms and tie rod ends, new starter motor, new genuine nissan radiator fitted in the last 18 months. Dynotuned 14 months ago at Federation motors in Cairns and makes over 400hp at the wheels comfortably at 18psi of boost, 98 octane fuel. This car has been great to drive, never been in any accidents, holds many memories, will be sad to see it go. I believe my car represents great value at $10,000. Here is a list of modifications done to the vehicle, most carried out in the last 2 years, like turbo, airflow meter, injectors, fuel pump, coil packs and clutch... From the album: R33 GTS-T build?
The car after i first got it, it had blue mesh all over the front of the intercooler, indicator and grill. so yeah, pretty much ripped all of that out as soon as i got home -
Hey guys just put in my bc br coilovers in my r33 and initially they were very bouncy. Springs are 6kg/mm F and 4kg/mm rear. The dampening settings were 8clicks off full hard front and rear. Ive backed it off a bit 16F and 24R and it feels better. Also they seemed to be running a heap of preload like 8mm. I made the springs just captive and that improved it still but ride is still bouncy. Anyone know the recommended preload and or dampening seting i should be using for custom spring rates. Cheers Patrick

Gidday. As suggested I require some help in working out my comp ration. I have researched the heck out of this subject and have found some really good posts with very VERY detailed information and processes in order to a quote this information. But nothing about how to adjust the ratio. For instance from what I have found the RB25DET S2 Came out with a 9.0:1 Ratio from factory also here are some other specs I have found for a stock RB25DET. SIZES ARE IN MM AND ALL FACTORY. BORE SIZE : 86.0MM STROKE : 71.7MM DECK HEIGHT : 188.5MM HEAD CC : 66.5MM COMP HEIGHT : 31.5MM So here is my information RB25DET S2 Block. Decked 10 thou Rb25det S2 Head. Deckedb10 thou Bores. +20 thou Stroke (Stock) 71.7mm I am looking for between 8.5:1 to 8.8 - 9.0:1 I am not as smart as some and cannot seem to figure this calculation method out. The instructions and walk throughs I have seem are really detailed but a little TO detailed to the stage where I am lost and it all starts looking like the matrix wall paper screen saver. So if someone could help me understand and to figure out what pistons I should her what Head gasket and so I will be forever in your debt. I had my rb25det with full stock internals up to 444.4 RWHP @ 19.5 @ 19.5PSI Of boost and snapped piston 1-s Ring Landings. Thank You In Advance.

Thrust carrier height for npc7056-10 R33 gts-t
Pattey21 posted a topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Hi guys, Just order a NPC7056-10 (organic 300rwkw) for my r33 gts-t. I also wanted to replace the throwout carrier sleeve and release bearing. Spoke to Golbey who called NPC and said the 20mm sleeve suits the throwout bearing they supply however a stock sleeve height is 18mm. Just Wanting to know what a working combo is with a new sleeve carrier and bearing whether I use the npc provided or a Nissan one. Cheers- 4 replies

Good morning all, In preparation for my tune in a few weeks I was thinking of replacing my intercooler. The one I have pictured, is a AVO Turboworld, core size 450x295x87. 2.5" inlet and outlet. Does anyone know anything about them power handling or quality. As far as I'm aware they're not one of the cheap knock off brands but I can't find any info about their intercoolers for skylines. My setup will make best case make 230-250kw @ 14-18psi (R33 21U g2 350hp hypergear highflow) I know return flow tend to be restrictive but generally from 250kw onwards so may not be a issue for me. Just trying to justify spending $600-$1k On a new cooler if it won't yeild much benefit for my setup.
