Dear all I hope you guys can help me before i'll throw this Car away. My Power Steering Belt slipped for the third time (one time completely and now the second time "only" half way and straight into the Cooler Fan which made a lovely Sound midway my Trip). I'll bring it to my mechanic to look into this (propably the Car is just cursed and hates me) but i need to drive it to him which takes me a 3 hours drive. The last time a guy from the breakdown service fixed it by relaxing and tightening the belt again, which i tried too, but i've loosen the Bolts according to the DIY FAQ and the P/S Pump won't move at all to loosen the Belt. I've tried pushing, pulling, leverage and even a hammer out of frustration, but the Belt stays tight as is. Can anyone point me in the direction why this Car can't just be easy to work on once?

Hi all, New member here. Loving the info on here. Have been using lots of it for my rb25det neo swap. I have an rb25det neo from a c35 laurel. It was previously auto with a 4wd gearbox. I have been unable to find specific documentation about the ecu from scouring the internet. I have managed to find a manual in Russian but that doesn't help much. My question is this. Does this ecu vary significantly from that found on a rb25det neo pulled from an r34 ? I will include pictures of the ECU asap. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi all, deleted the bov recirc and oil breather - the two pipes the connect to the turbo intake pipe. I have blocked them with bungs. Now wondering where do I put the hose that goes to the boost controller/solenoid. As the nipple it used to connect to was on of the pipes that I removed. Where’s the best place to put it? T it with something else or drill a hole in the intake and put it there? Thanks

Hey experts, In desperate need of someone who 'knows a guy' or can put me onto a reputable establishment that can procure a full set of 24 valves for a RB25DETNEO, which are proving to be the hardest part to acquire in the country. Long story short, my GTT slipped the timing belt due to a coolant leak from the head way back in April and bent all 24 valves. It's been with my mechanic, Head Street Auto in Traralgon ever since then. The head re-build was outsourced to Hoppers Heads in Victoria and the outsourcing of the valves required is being barely managed by Hi-Octane in Sydney. This mob in Sydney keep dicking around my mechanic here in Traralgon regarding valve availability and ETA's - I was last told after I called this mob direct that the valves were being shipped from Japan and would land Monday 2 weeks ago - today I've been told they've only received x amount of one size and y amount of the other (correct me if I'm wrong but there's 12 valves of one size and 12 of another for the NEO? Not all 24 are the same). What I'm hoping from this post is someone knows a good business or even just a guy who can just say yep, what do you need, 24 valves, order placed they'll be here in 2 weeks - done. I've been without this car going on 3 months now whilst my mechanic, the head shop and the parts supplier all go around in circles trying to source valves for a RB25DETNEO. My mechanic is weary about sourcing the parts privately from a private sale in case they go through all the rigmarole only to find they aren't serviceable or are dodgy or something. Any assistance would be appreciated, dont even remember what my 34 looks like anymore!

Good day buddies.... So i have recently installed some Tomei Poncams(Intake 260 9.15 and Exhaust 262 9.15 lift) for my engine (RB25DET NEO).... After they were installed i never checked the shim clearance(p.s shims are above bucket type), due to it being drop in cams and my buddy who installed them never had to re-shim. Unfortunately after i started the car i heard a ticking noise from the back of the head and then investigated the reason of the noise. For a second i taught it was the body oil used(20w50) and i live in the caribbean. So i change the oil to 10w50 and the noise reduce a bit but was still there... When i pop the cam cover and check the clearances this was the results. *Exhaust * Numbers are in "thou" reading 1.0.019 2.0.019 3.0.019 4.0.019 5.0.020 6.0.020 7.0.020 8.0.020 9.0.020 10.0.20 11.0.20 + 0.011 12.0.018 tight or 0.017 AS Tomei recommend there clearances to be .018 thou mine reads close to Nissan specs and never did any head work.... but for when i checked the clearance on valve #11 and #12 i notice that was the problem.... What can cause that such big clearance #11 and tight clearance on #12 ....Btw this is a stock head and never done any head work as my goal was to just see how long the engine can last....

Hi all, im installing a boost guage and two other gauges in my c35 laurel, i have removed the 2 din stereo and fitted a 1 din stereo and I’m having a 3 52mm hole 1 din size guage holder to fill the space up... I have the boost guage wired up to the stereo for power & illumination & the ground running to a bolt on the chassis next to the gear stick... can I tap into the wire that’s coming from the front of the manifold that has been blocked off or do I tap into the line going into the acctuator on the left strut tower?? Also I have a tube running from the turbo that runs into a sensor for the ecu, could someone explain what that is for?? Also I’ve 2x gauges left to buy, any recommendations what to put there?? Air fuel ration, voltmeter, water temp, oil temp, ect... Any help would be greatly appreciated ?
