Hi folks, so I am looking to buy a set of front seats, and for that i need to get a seat bracket. Can anybody tell me if Seat brackets from the 300zx are compatible with the R33? An onlineshop is offering those or the ones from the r34. Not sure if any of these will fit into my r33 ... Thanks in advance

Hey guys I'm new to this forum let alone any forum so if I did something wrong already let me know lol. Anyway I'm getting off my provisional licence soon and just finally keen to get my R34gtt. I have a few questions though. Firstly, I have a 1 and a half year old child, I know that a two door car isn't convenient but it's my dream and my Mrs agreed so it's a done deal, although I've heard that baby seats will be an issue. If anyone has a baby seat in the back of there r34 please upload pictures and let me know what model seat it is. Done with that point, I'm looking to get a manual so when I go r34 shopping what are some serious things I should keep an eye on. Not an expert with cars so I will bring someone with more knowledge but is there some things in particular that I should be aware of? Anyway thanks and drive responsibly ? -

Just got some Recaro seat rails on the cheap for my car (stagea). My question is: do all recaros seats use the same size rail? (and other brands respectively as well) ie. if I have recaro rails can I safely go out and whack any recaro seat on it? I'm looking at nabbing seats from an Evo X, unless anyone else has any good leads!

I have an R33 GTR seat set, 2 x front and rear bench. I think they are out of a '96, they have the mauve/purple inserts in the headrest. The top part of the rear seat was sun affected [ie faded and UV weakened/rotted] so I took it to a local upholstery business and it has languished there for a few months now. They can't seem to find the grey brushed velour [not the centre inserts, we will be able to re use them] that is endemic to nearly every model. So I am looking for a supplier that can sell me 3 metres of this material so I can get the seat finished. Ideally I would go to some other business that can do the job but this would mean a long trip cos I live in a small town in the country, Sydney is 4 hrs away, Canberra is 2. Plus I feel that if I can find the right material then the upholsterer should be able to do the job [surely its not that difficult]. So does anyone know of code numbers I can ask about [okish], or a supplier [better]? TIA

FOR SALE 2 Recaro seats and rails that have come out of my R33 GTST. RECARO RS3 (with white embroidered RECARO) seat that's been used as a driver's seat for it's life. It's in great condition with some standard foam wear on the RHS of the bolster (see pics) - $390 without rails ($470 with rail). RECARO (not sure what style) seat with wear on the RHS of the seat trim. Still in good useable condition - $290 without rail ($360 with rail). Seat rails on their own - Driver's side rails $110, passenger side rails $100. IF YOU TAKE THE LOT $800 (both seats and rails). First in first served. -

Hi Guys, I have a used Evo 2 bucket seat for sale. Was going to use it as a passenger seat but dont really need a passenger seat. It comes with a fixed position rail to bolt into R chassis (or S chassis by extending one of the holes about 20mm). Condition of the seat is quite good just a little dirty as I was sweeping up around it. Price is $350 ONO Pickup Rouse Hill, NSW not really willing to post something this big. Hey Gurls & Guys, Yes, I've searched but the results are old and some places don't exist anymore and there are new places that might have popped up then. So I recently acquired a pretty worn Recaro SR3 seat off another forum for a good price with the intention of reupholstering it and fixing up the bolsters. The bolsters are replaceable through a UK lot called Capital Seating http://www.capitalseating.co.uk/productlist.asp?type=s&view=range&rid=61&mid=2 they stock all the spares, also at a good price. Now the retrim part, I'm not too sure where to go. I know back in the days GTrim was pretty good/decent but I've heard they have shut shop. Any suggestions? I just want to retrim the wings and bolster areas. I'm hoping under $200 to trim in just fabric, nothing flash. I prefer the standard RECARO look if you know what I mean. Thanks!

Hi Guys, I'm stripping out a MkIII Supra for the track, for sale are the 2x Bride Low-Max seats that came with it, and the Original Supra Recaros. (We're putting in fixed-back race seats) The Driver's Bride is almost as-new, and the passenger's only has marks from mounting, and sitting on the floor, you'd barely know it's been in a car. $800 the pair ono, they're advertised elsewhere & on ebay. The Recaros have height & angle headrest adjustment, thigh-support adjustment, driver's has seat-base height adjust too. Passenger's is in good nick, driver's - well you can see in the pic, foam is all good - it's just the normal wear points on the bolster. Not bad for 25yrs old I thought. $550 the pair ono, they're advertised elsewhere & on ebay as well. PM me or reply here, Seats are in Preston, Melbourne. First preference given to local pick-up. Hi Guys, I'm reluctantly putting my now discontinued fixed back Recaro TS-G ASM limited seat. The seat is absolute porn and in excellent condition. Based on the new RS-G structural sports shell from Recaro Japan. ASM Limited Recaro products are produced by Recaro Japan specifically for ASM, they are not reupholstered by ASM. The shining mesh silver cloth is adopted for this Recaro seat and greatly improves the feeling of luxury. Also features a Silver RECARO logo and Red double stitch that further improves sportiness. The seat side allows smoother accelerator, brake, and clutch action with divided leg support. Support has been improved to the shoulder with the addition by adding no slipping support.
