Hi guys, I've recently bought a 2008 370gt v36 import and it's been running like a dream. Then earlier this week while sitting at a set of lights, this van in front of me starts rolling backwards towards me (moron didn't have the handbrake on and didn't realise he was moving backwards). I beeped several times but eventually his tow bar hit me in the center of the number plate. It looked like a small bend in the number plate (no apparently damage to the actual car) and I bent it back very easily, but since then the car just doesn't feel the same; slight hesitation off the mark; movement at low revs doesn't feel the same. It's fine if I punch it into the higher rev range, it accelerates smoothly once you hit it hard, but at low speeds something feels inconsistent. Does anyone have any ideas about whether there's a sensor behind that front number plate that somehow affects revs, and what (if anything) I can do to get things running smoothly again? Any advice appreciated. Mark

I'm just wondering what setups everyone is running in the gauges/dashes/ECU department. Who is running 1 sensor and outputting to multiple devices? obviously in an ideal world, we would all be running full standalone with CAN bus and race dashes. For those of us without a $10k budget on electrical, there are options but seems to be a lot more effort involved making an effective and worthwhile setup. My predicament: Autronic SM4 with sensor inputs from: fuel pressure, oil pressure, oil temp, water temp, air temp, MAP. Gauges I would like to run: oil pressure, oil temp, water temp, AFR, boost. I tried to run my existing Defi DIN gauges in parallel to the Sensor-ECU signals, but Defi gear use their own retarded voltage ranges and self-check systems which means it didnt want to play ball. I want to avoid running 2x sensors for each parameter (if possible), for what info I can find, sharing a sensor signal with ECU and gauges should work fine if both use the same ranges (eg 0-5V). Original plan was to run Autometer gauges and AEM boost+AFR, but this 1Gauge unit I've heard about is an attractive option because it doesnt require CAN. http://1gauge.com.au/store.php

Changing/cleaning coolant sensors rb25det neo Location for both ecu and dash gauge coolant sensor. How to change or clean them. Take both sensors out and clean them with 600 grit sandpaper. Only the metal parts. Not the thread!!! Clean with clean rag put some high temp thread tape on sensor thread and re install.

Hi. Hopefully not been covered before. Have a r34 auto coupe. Was originally turbo, now engine replaced with a series 2 rb25de engine. Problem we are having is the TCS/slip lights come on after start up and seems box is stuck in 3rd gear. Reverse and neutral are fine. Bit of head scratching going on. Ecu is for auto. Only thing we can think of is throttle body with sensors are different. Engine was from a manual car. Can anyone shed some light on this please?

Hi, guys! I'm selling rare monitoring system HKS Camp2, which displays the parameters on a standard automobile monitor. Uses the OBDII protocol and its own sensors. Production is discontinued. Complete set (new, unused): - CAMP2 (48001-AK001); - I/F Meter Interface Unit (44008-AK011); - Temperature Sensor and Harness Set (44999-AK011); - EGT Sensor and Harness Set (44999-AK019); - Pressure Sensor and Harness Set (44999-AK020); - Boost Sensor and Harness Set (44999-AK021). And also a couple of bonuses for the buyer. I wanted to install it in my Stagea AR-X, but decided to sell the car. I'm from Moscow, Russia. I wanted to sell it on eBay, but my account has a limit of 500 USD. You can pay via PayPal and i'll send the unit by EMS. Price: 1100 AUD. Shipping is included.
