My RB25 is lately struggling to get to 5k rpm it feels like it's not boosting. It gets to about 4.5-5k then splutters. It is usually 580hp and would usually scream instantly to 7k rpm in seconds. I have also noticed it is idling really high. Like 1500 rpm which makes me think maybe a vac hose has come off or something. The microtech dash is reading boost but I am not feeling it. If idle is high, would that suggest vac is leaking somewhere after the throttle body? IMG_5140.mov

Misfire on boost under load Hi Just fired up my car after 2 years (new fluids and battery and starts and idles fine). After warming it up reved it a bit in neutral and its all sweet. Now took it for a spin up the road and whenever im about to hit boost the car misfires (well maybe not misfire but splutters) Car has spitfire coil packs and from what i believe its not ignition related (boost would still kick in and it would misfire in neutral but i could be wrong with the skyline) Also fuel filter and fuel pump was replaced around 2 months prior to garaging the car. Feels smooth when revved in neutral. Any ideas what it could be and also what i should check thanks

Cut out/Splutter Hi guys, New here. I have been searching for days on various forums and haven't found any topics on the issue so forgive me if there is one I missed. I am helping my friend fix his R33 with a Rb25det. It is currently running 18psi with an aftermarket HKS turbo. It's practically stock minus that and an aftermarket ecu. Long story short the turbo shit itself. It got rebuilt professionally, it is now running a different turbine ect than previous as it was cheaper than garrett internals. The car was sitting for 3-4 months on half a tank prior to the replacement. By the time it was running again the fuel wasn't ideal obviously. Cleared out the fuel which cleared misfires and what not that was occurring. Runs great now minus an issue. The car randomly cuts out, feels the same as hitting limiter in a car and it cuts fuel. This happens for about half a second then the car goes back to normal. Car pulls straight through the rev range when running normal. Appears to happen at random. The maf has just been replaced 5000km ago. What other things should I look at? The issue didnt happen before turbo replacement and I believe I've checked all the vacuum lines.
