Hi Sau community, I have a mint S1.5 Gunmetal Grey R33 gtst coupe, blueprinted motor, forged pistons, metal head gasket apart from a boost controller, spitfire coilpacks, turbo timer and 2.5inch exhaust with Cat it's stock. Looking at advice on a series of upgrades. Would really appreciate input regarding Haltec Elite, Greddy Plentum,Fuel Rail, Blitz Front mount intercooler, Tein Coilovers and best slotted discs.   2. Team, I have some Tein suspension that has always been in my car and after my question on replacing bushes I was also looking at the Cusco sway bars. Problem is I do not know my spring rate in the current coilovers. They are bound to be stiff though as it is a rough ride. Do I look to upgrade the sway bars with cusco items which are very stiff front and rear? Do I use the standard links or is there something else you recommend? Do I swap the coilovers out for some Tein Flex Z's with adjustable dampers and spring rates on those are Front 7kg Rear 6kg. If I do that how do I match the sway bars to those? This is a street car 98% of the time. Or do I go Whiteline which comes with a complete kit (links and all) and then adjust with the suspension shop to suit my current teins? Thanks again.

Hi guys and gals, I'm selling my project 33 4 door as I don't have time or space anymore. would be perfectly suited to either a drift or track car, good points: has a professionally built 6 point welded in roll cage, brand new Tein adjustable coil overs all round, good project car. 2 of the main expensive bits are done (roll cage and suspension) already stripped out ready to race good wheels and tyres allot of the hard work is done spare set of Bilstien suspension in the boot CHEAP! lol Bad points: has been sitting around for about 2 years in the weather, needs either new engine or rebuilding the one that's in it. It had a blown head gasket, got pulled apart and then sat around paint is faded and already has a couple of battle scars located near Maryborough (250k's north of Brisbane). Price, honestly not sure what its worth but I'd like to get around $2500, which was the cost of the cage alone, (I'm open to realistic offers) essentially get the car, coil overs, wheels, tyres for free. added bonus **** I can help with transport etc. if required. I have a car trailer and work 7 on 7 off, so if needed I could transport it in one of my weeks off. pictures tell 1000 words so there isn't much else to say Removeable side intrusion bars All TIG welded

They are very light weight and extremely easy on the eyes...all aluminium with the mounts anodized in classic Tein green.... Top condition only used for a short time, ie. half a dozen track days. May fit R33 or R34 gtr but you'd need to check with DMS. I've painted bodies to remove stone chips, but they're in very good condition, as visual inspection will attest. Japanese quality and hard to find these days. These may fit R33 or R34 GTR but you'd need to confirm with Tein Australia or Japan. Rears were revalved by Racepace in Melbourne. They accept a Porsche pad which is pretty commonly available. Included: The original 343mm 2-piece rotors, 30.8mm thickness. A set of RDA Mercedes modified, 343mm 1-piece rotors, 32.1mm thickness. A set of one track day old Pagid RS14 pads. A new set of Bendix Ultimate pads. A near new set of TRW pads. I'm returning my car to stock brakes so these brakes are surplus to needs.   10. Hi guys I got a complete car, runs and everything but cannot be complied. So here is the story it was imported obviously to be complied and registered but it had a front repair and thanks to that the compliance workshop refused to comply it as they reckon according to the law they cant comply it and it has to be disposed off. Car starts and runs fine. here are the details 2003 Pearl White Skyline 350GT premium 52,700 kms with original de-reg paper interior grade was B, so its very clean Half leather seats in very good condition All airbags intact All electrics working like bose stereo, power windows, power locks, just to name a few Its also got Tein Comfort sport fully adjustable suspension, just did a quick google search, these cost around $2000 brand new in japan Also has rear factory side pods 350z wheels Again this is only usefull for race or parts purpose. Im not thinking to part so selling whole car as is. Swap Tein or WTB Coilovers for r34 gtt Hey guys I currently have Tein Type HA Coilovers installed in my r34 gtt, I'm looking to swap for something stiffer, I think these are 6kg front 4kg rear, I'm looking for 8kg front 6kg rear or 10kg front 8kg rear, show me what you have. The coilovers are in good condition no knocks or leaks etc. Cash your way depending on what you have. Or PM me offers for these.

Springs/Suspension Shop Stuff Around Hello experts, So in short, I've vowed to take the lowering spring/shock combo over the coilovers option and have weighed this up and researched it for ages. So that's that out of the way before anyone recommends coilovers for my daily driver. I'd had my car booked in to fit 50mm lowering springs (Kings) and some work done to custom fit a Venom 5"cat," for two weeks now, only to get a call the night before to say they don't make springs to drop 50mm and would have to get 30mm's and compress them, taking weeks and more $$$ and generally frustrating me. Im now thinking about sourcing my own springs (Tein S Techs) but the drop rate is very vague - 15 to 50mm. FYI the quote I got: $210 per set for springs, up to $330 in labour to fit because they have to go through the back seats and up to $150 to custom fit my 5" venom cat (welding required, flanges don't match) - up to $900 total.
  13. TEIN coilovers rebuild or replace Advice needed please. I imagine someones already done all the research on this already and can enlighten me. Currently my R32 gtr has super firm suspension, TEIN mono flex 10-9kg springs. Probably good in Japan but not great on our crappy roads. So one option is to change the springs, thinking 7-6kg range and get them serviced and revalved at the same time. I think the cost would be getting towards $1000. Or option 2 would be to buy some new TEIN super streets (or other new coilovers) for around $1600. What does everyone think is the better option? I should add, car is just a weekender and might see a track day once a year.

Tein HA Coilover Knock/Pillow Ball Issue Hello experts, This is a very much 'get what you pay for' type scenario, but I'm hoping some of you can help me salvage the situation as I've already learned from the mistake. I was at a crossroads when looking to upgrade the suspension of my GTT (springs+shocks or coilovers). Eventually, I went for coilovers although my budget was thin. I managed to track down a set of Tein HA's for the GTT for $700 supposedly in mint condition, which I viewed before purchase, looking for knocks, thread wear, oil leaks etc. All looked well but I'm no pro. I'd recently had them professionally checked & installed at my local shop and towards the end of the install, advised me that 'the pillowball mounts are f&%^$' and 'there was some play so I'll get alot of knocking' - and he was correct, although all 4 coilovers make the knock noise during travel. They'd also lowered quite a bit, but not over the top crazy. These guys are now 'researching' what they can do about the knock, as am I, and i'm starting to doubt if they actually know what the issue is, or even if all four knocks are related to a bad install or they are putting this issue in the too-hard-basket. Summarising, as the car is a daily, is there a way to convert the pillowball upper mount to rubber to rectify the knock (and maybe make the ride smoother, it's my daily)? I'd suggested this today when I went back to the shop and the dude said 'I dont see why not' with no further response. My options look a little like this: Buy new pillowball upper mounts @ $150 per stick Look into rubber upper mounts (can these be purchased as a universal thing, or even pulled from my OEM ones?) Take the car elsewhere for a second opinion Refit OEM and sell the Tein HA's (worst case - I'm happy with these apart from the knocks - If rubber mounts, I think ride quality may improve also) Any advice at this point is a plus as I'm foreign to suspension and am taking the word of my local shop in good faith..... because I'm paying them.

Hi all, ive got a set of tein winding master monoflex coilovers with a edfc set up for the R34gtt with the fork i payed over $2000 and used for about 4 month before i took them out and sold that skyline with stock suspension and now they have just been sitting in my garage for over 6 months collecting dust so might as well sell them for $1000 so my loss is your gain.. perfect condition with no knocks or leaks..the edfc unit is abit dusty and is in ok condition... located in geelong Victoria but can post at buyers expense... thank you for looking..
  16. tein SS and whiteline sway bars hey all, I have an R33 sedan (s1) that I'm looking at fitting Tein super streets on and Whiteline front and rear sway bars (most likely 24mm adjustable front and rear) will also probably be going with the HD links. I was curious if anyone else has done the same or done similar mods and if there were any tips or anything else i might need to consider before sourcing and installing these. to avoid any confusion I'm after a comfortable yet rigid street/daily set up. any advice or input is welcome and appreciated, cheers

  18. Hello, if you can reframe from pointing out my ignorance that would be great, but some help as to how i adjust the height on my adjusties would be very much appreciated! I under stand they are not *body adjustable* which seems to be the only type of adjustable suspension that has tutorials on the inter weds showing how to adjust them, so I'm a little bit stuck. thanks.

Got a set of Tein mediums for sale, these will lower your car by roughly 30mm all around and are very comfortable Spring rate: 30% stiffer than stock springs, @ 4.5 kg/mm rear and around 4.2kg/mm ish for front Review: Whilst they're probably the stiffest lowered springs for factory shocks, they're still comfortable, and works really well with Bilstein shocks. Application: I've used them on both r33 gtst and r34 gtt and in both cases they've fitted up fine. The front springs were pretty scratched due to having left them rolling around in garage for too long, so I've painted it. Doesn't affect its performance however. they have been discontinued and you can no longer buy them new from tein anymore. Only selling due to going coilovers $100, located in north Sydney

  24. Came on my R34 GTT when I purchased it in March. Will probably fit any fork type suspension skyline, however fronts sat very low and even at the highest setting on my R34, hence why I changed the suspension. Would only really recommend putting on R33 GTR. - 16 levels of dampening force adjustment (compression & rebound) - Ride Height Adjustable - 4kg springs front and back - Aus spec - softer valving than Jap spec (good for Australian roads) - Very good condition with no leaks or knocks Installed by previous owner in November 2018 at 131 500 km.   25. Hi SAU, Looking to purchase some Tein RA (Racing Spec) Circuit Masters coilovers, for my R33 GT-R. 20+ year old coilovers so I don't expect them to be in the best condition. Happy to buy a set that is rebuildable (planning to get some custom work done to them), but not overly damaged (bent shock). For those who know; if you have a set with Racepace custom valving/spring rates already done, will be keen to buy those as well. Budget: depends on condition, though obviously these are very rare now, so will pay accordingly. If you have the RS version for BCNR33, please let me know.
