Hey guys so im on the hunt for a ecu for my m35 vq25dd stagea and im struggling to get one with the code mec14-521 a1 3328 i can get the mec14-521 but not the last four numbers. I did see one on ebay all numbers matching but if i can would prefer one in nz , are the last for numbers important or are there any others that will work cheers

Does anyone know what fan pulley brackets fit in a M35 Stagea? I found ones for a 350z which looks identical to the mine that needs replacing, but apparently they don't fit. If someone knows for sure what fits that would be great as I am eager to drive it -
Hi, wow i have done a heap of reading and hardly broke the surface, how ever as usual it is hard to find the exact question i require. So here is where im at, i have an off road buggy currently running an old 4AGZE, i blew 1 motor a couple of weeks ago, put the spare in and it dont wont to work properly, i will work on it. How ever at the end of the year i am looking for a suitable power plant for my needs and race rules. Rules state max capasity of 2500cc n/a or a 4 cylinder 1600cc force inducted engine to stay in class i am in now, so i looking at a vq25dd/de the numbers look good ie great hp for the cc. Now a few questions, 1. do the figures stack up, around the 200hp, i presume this is FWHP which is fine. 2. Do the engine ecu's talk to the auto tranny's? have heard this can cause troubles running the standard ECU outside of the car, on some cars. i will try to get a manual motor and ecu any way. 3. Are these motors fairly tough? like there is a lot of load on motors when we get a bit serious, i know the vq35 hold up alright in the high classes, so i would think so the 25 be the same. Any way thanks for any imput, i will keep hanging around reading, especially if i do go down this road . Mark

faulty nissan skyline cam gear my nissan skyline with a vq25dd engine keeps jerking between 1800 to 2400 rpm and throws the check engine light. my mechanic says its a faulty cam gear /vtc pulley. one of the cam gears makes a click on attempted rotation which my mechanics points as the fault in this cam gear. i recently got a used cam gear from a fairly used car and this one also makes the click. so my question is, will a good cam gear make a click on attempted rotation?

V35 VQ25DD manual trans swap So I'm new to here, and I hope people still monitor this forum. I am posting for a buddy. He just partially swapped the 25DD to manual 6 speed (from the 350z). After the swap, he is having crazy ABS problems. He will be driving, then all the sudden the ABS will kick in out of the blue and the breaks pulsate as if you are depressing the brakes even though your not. He took he ABS fuse and removed the two slated in the engine bay as for the abs. Problem still exists. This happens at random times and if you stop and shut off the car, it will reset. Btw, this was the same issue we saw on a VQ35 on a manual way, but the ECU in the 35 was less straight forward, and it was assumed the problem resided in one of the couple ECUs on the VQ35. If you know someone who did a 25 manual trans conversion, or know the answer please help me

Hey all, hoping someone can help me out. Timing chain is needing replacing and I can not find one for my car besides ebay!! My car is an Nm35 stagea Vq25dd, I can easily find kits for the dets just not mine only through ebay. I am really liking the price off the ebay one as it sits just under $300 but I'm not too sure whether too trust it or not and I know timing isn't something too cheap out on soo just wondering has anyone here ever bought one of these kits from ebay? There's so many of these same kits on ebay so hopefully someone here has bought one and has had no issues. Other than that does anyone know where too buy one locally? Im from NZ Auckland and I did message bnt about it and they said their supplier said that the Vq25dd engines require a different kit than the other vqs and has too be genuine? Not sure what genuine means, but I'm assuming from the dealership?? Any help is appreciated thanks
