Where To Buy Wheel Studs

as the topic says im looking to buy some wheel studs for an r33, 2 have broken and 2 have threaded. i am in brisbane and would like to klnow either what kind of shop to look up or a particular shop in my area that someone knows off, thanks alot, eli

You could prolly just get them from Repco(Or whatever you guys have like that in queensland..) If you can take in a sample that would probably be the best way..

I dare say R33 ones would match something else Nissan of the same age, just go to your local Nissan dealer

guess what....

i did the same thing with my r33... i was about to buy a new hub and found out they cost an arm and a leg... but luckily one of the guys in SUPERCHEAP help out.

so he ordered me a new set of stud that are for R33... now i just got 'em today and will try and replace mine on the weekend.

so yeah...go SUPERCHEAP auto..you'll have it the next day if you're lucky...otherwise 2-3 days.

i foudn repco couldn't help - we went through their whole catalogue trying to find a matching stud.. nothing

the supercheap i went to was bloody useless too - the dude there was like some highschool kid on his summer job.

I found a set of studs from option1garage over at Hamilton.

they are about 12-13 bucks each (but i got the extended ones).

Ohhh and remember, the front wheel studs are a mil or two thicker than the rear studs. I had to replace one on the rear last week and i had a heap of new front studs. They are too thick.

I had 2 broken studs on the back of my r33, Couldn't get any so i pulled a stud out of my work car to see if they would be the same (1990 nissan pintara) and yes they are. just went to Bursons and got some for a pintara 10 bucks for 4.

Nissan charged me $5.50 per stud not as bad as i thought

yeah, i went to nissan and got the rear ones for $3 each and the front ones for $4.65 each at trade price.

pretty cheap really
