my cars not a skyline but i hope you guys can help.

just this morning when i turned the key to on there was an electrical sounding buzz noise coming from the engine bay for about 2 seconds.turned the key to off and the sound happened again but this time it sounds like something winding down.strong sound fading to nothing in about 3 seconds.it seems to be coming from the inlet manifold area.the sound also happens intermittently while im driving.

cars not running rough or down on power at all.any ideas what it might be?

Telling us what make/model car you have would help.

I don't know of any cars that have a fuel pump under the engine bay, but it kinda sounds like what you're describing. Might be an idea to have someone else listen under there while you crank it over.

Could even be wire shorting or something crazy like that. It kinda sounds like big-ass capacitors charging and discharging.
