Hi mate...

I have just rebuilt my RB25DEt motor..

I would sugest you also replace your thermostat. They don't cost much.. I think mine was under $40... If your thermostat goes, you'll cook your motor..

Worth the money.

You could also change your welsh plugs if you want.

I've had a few problems with my clutch hub.. You could change that as well... Depends on how many kms you have done.

Check all of your hoses, make sure they are all intact.

Mate, there is so much you could do. How much money do you have?

Is that of nay help?

rebuild with strong internals, big high mount, big fuel system, chrome everywhere and while your at it, change your oil too?!

The possibilities are endless, as stuartlaw_78 said, how much money do you have?

IMHO

- Timing belt and tesioner + idler bearings ( a must )

- Water Pump ( a must )

- replace oil pressure sender ( a must )

- rear main engine oil seal ( a must )

- Oil Pump ( a maybe )

- Get A/C compressor overhauled and electromagnetic clutch replaced ( a maybe but it's a good time to do it )

- replace the hoses at the back of the engine. ( the hard ones to get to ) ( a maybe )

- replace welsh plugs ( a maybe )

- and lastley, properly clean the engine bay before re-installing engine.

Just some ideas for you

Cheers guys some of these things I didn't think of

The engine will be getting "all prettied up"before it goes in as well as the engine bay, new Braided line have been organised for most of the car. engine getting stripped down to bear essentials and clean up as well.

I have a mate who is a powder coater so I'll be sending him some stuff.

I'm hoping the engine come with a A/C compressor as I think not all Frontcuts/ engine packages come with a/c compressor.

I'll staying with the VG30 turbo I have on at the monment, as I don;t want my budget to strech that far. This will do me for driftin at the monment ( did alright in the last meet)

cheers gus thanks for the input.
